  1. Try disabling your antivirus software while playing to see if this helps. It may be an issue with the antivirus software locking the files while it scans them effectively keeping the game from loading them in time to be used.
  2. Gah! Every time I see this I my mind immediately goes to legend instead of legacy for some reason. I swear I'll drill legacy into my brain one way or another. :-) The mod author has it as MUS on the mod page.
  3. A few more TLAs for the growing list... AAE - Advanced Adversary Encounters CR - Conflict Resolution DDC = Diverse Dragons Collection LOTD - Legend of the Dragonborn RoTE - Revenge of the Enemies MLU - Morrowloot Ultimate MUS - Morroloot Ultimate Simplified
  4. You may want to read this post from Yippee38 on the subject.
  5. Follow the detailed instructions for installing aMidianBorn Book of Silence. Right after Book of Silence is installed, scroll down a bit and follow the instructions to download and install the Staff of Magnus Hotfix. When prompted for a name, name it "aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Unique Items" so it has the same name as the unique items mod and then select merge. Finally, download and install the Content Addon and follow the instructions for MO user. All of the instructions in the aMidianBorn Book of Silence page applies to STEP Core and Extended. Moved to Support - General
  6. Yes, use LOOT to sort your load order and then rebuild the bashed patch any time you add a new mod. If you are adding or changing weapons or armors, you'll need to rebuild the DSR patch. If you add or change animations, you'll need to run GenerateFNISForUsers to rebuild all the animations. If you add or change landscape or towns you'll need to re-run DynDOLOD.
  7. I'm still using Dragon Priests in my test playground, so I vote yes as well.
  8. I think that commonly happens when the XPMS skeleton isn't installed properly, although XPMSE is certainly the better skeleton for overall compatibility.
  9. Everything is fine, but you have the mods grouped by Nexus ID. Look down at the bottom of the left pane where it shows Nexus IDs. Click that and change it No groups.
  10. Sounds like it would fit in perfectly as decorations for Holidays and for recharging enchantments. What's not to like about that?
  11. What problem were you having with the animations?
  12. FYI: Thunderchild is temporarily unavailable so the mod author can fix a bug related to saves, so it should be available again in the near future.
  13. I've been using this one in my latest playthrough and I think it really makes a difference in a good way.
  14. The monument wall with the names on the stones seems to be a much darker black compared to the remainder of the wall. The impression is that the two parts of the wall don't quite mesh together in terms of color, but I think the same is true of the vanilla wall as well.
  15. Thanks for the correction, Ganda. Looks like I owe Hishtup now.
  16. Given that Realistic Boat Bobbing is up to version 2.4.8 with regular updates by Gandaganza, should this be put back into testing?
  17. Mod Organizer 2 is currently in beta testing with Fallout 4 support, although you should use Mod Organizer 1.3.11 for the 32-bit games (Skyrim and Fallout).
  18. You'll run into permissions issues if you have Skyrim and/or Mod Organizer installed in a UAC-controlled folder like Program Files or Program Files (x86). The recommended solution is to use Steam to move Skyrim into another folder that isn't locked down by Windows -- something like C:\Games generally works well. Of course, you'll need to move all of your tools (like Mod Organizer and LOOT) out of Program Files into and into something like C:\Games as well. You may need to add Mod Organizer as an exclusion to your antivirus software as well.
  19. If you double click Unmanged: HighResTexturePack0x (where x is 1, 2, or 3) and click the Conflicts tab, Mod Organizer will show which files are actively being used. The top pane shows the files in the selected mod that overwrite files in other mods. The files in this list list are actively used by the game. The bottom pane shows the files in the selected mod that are being "overwritten" by other mods. These files in this mod are redundant so aren't being used by the game. Finally, at the very bottom is the count of files in this mod that don't conflict with any other mod.
  20. I just checked my STEP profile in Mod Organizer and I see the HR-DLC has about 500 or 600 files that have not been "overwritten" by any other mod.
  21. Skyrim Performance Monitor is a good tool to find out if you are hitting the VRAM limit. I doubt this is the issue because you're using "reasonable sized" meshes and textures and I think you'd be experiencing more stutter if you hit the VRAM limit. Memory Blocks Log is the best tool to rule out issues with heap allocation issues. I use Memory Blocks Log regularly to verify I'm not hitting the DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB limit. Beyond this, you're exactly right... troubleshooting random crashes can be a lot like tossing darts on a board while blindfolded. When I hit this stage, I usually stop everything and start going over the guides again to make sure I didn't miss anything... not necessarily starting from scratch, just comparing the guide against what I have and what I remember doing to see if I can find the issue the "easy" way. I also use a lot of profiles in Mod Organizer to help narrow down issues. For example, I create an SRLE profile, install all of SRLE into this profile, and verify it works for a while. I then copy the SRLE profile to an SRLE Extended profile, add on SR:LE Extended, and verify this works. Finally, I copy the SRLE Extended profile to a new profile and add my custom mods on top. This way I can switch profiles to narrow down any issues I run into over time.
  22. Have you added an exclusion for Mod Organizer to Webroot? EDIT: I suspect what's happening is the Mod Organizer is hooking into the file system APIs and some overzealous antivirus software immediately shut it down thinking it's malware. You probably don't really need the exclusion for Loot, although it doesn't hurt.
  23. You might ask @Tannin, the developer of Mod Organizer on github. https://github.com/TanninOne/modorganizer/issues
  24. I noticed several users on Nexus reporting similar issues with Nexus Mod Manager earlier today so, yeah, most likely Nexus server issues.
