  1. This is primarily Dual Sheath Redux and secondarily XP32 Maximum Skeleton. If I'm not mistaken, XP23 Maximum Skeleton does not support sheathing one-handed weapons on the back so Dual Sheath Redux is installed with the option "Do you use a sword on back skeleton" set to NO. If you want to sheath swords on back, you'll have to install XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended instead of XP32 Maximum Skeleton, reinstall Dual Sheath Redux with "Do you use a swords on back skeleton" set to YES, re-run the Dual Sheath Redux Patcher, and re-run Generate FNIS For Users to regenerate all the animations.
  2. Mea culpa I goofed by moving this topic so I moved it back with the Skyrim prefix. Please accept my humble apologies for my goof and thanks for posting, mlee3141.
  3. If you're using Mod Organizer, also verify you do not have a duplicate skse.ini in the Skyrim\Data\SKSE folder by mistake and that the file is actually named skse.ini instead of skse.ini.txt in the mods/skse_1_07_03/SKSE folder. I'll second Nebulous112's observation that 1280 is most likely wasting memory that could otherwise be used by the game, so try to get this down as much as possible.
  4. Those Papyrus log entries have nothing to do with the game crashing so you can disable Papyrus logging and look elsewhere. The Papyrus log is useful only for mod authors creating/editing scripts and are pretty much meaningless for any other purpose. In fact, Papyrus logging eats so much CPU time that it hinders the Papyrus engine to the point of causing script lag and other issues. The first place to start troubleshooting is with Memory Blocks Log. Install and enable Memory Blocks log, then play the game until the game crashes. Open the log file (in the overwrite folder) and the first line should be DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB-256 to indicate the SKSE memory patch is configured and working correctly. If the last line is also DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB-256, you need to increase DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB and try again. Note that if you expand DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB to 1024 or above, you should also set ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false in enblocal.ini to avoid crashing on startup.
  5. If you follow the guide to install STEP Extended, all but 408* files in the High Resolution Texture Pack are replaced by various mods. *Assuming I can count correctly.
  6. As much as I hate to say it, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if some overly zealous or poorly developed anti-virus software is causing an issue. Try this to see it helps at all: Run Mod OrganizerClick Modify Executable (the gears icon at the top)Click the Creation Kit shortcut you createdCheck Overwrite Steam AppID and enter 202480 in the textboxClick ModifyClick CloseNow try to run Creation Kit and hopefully (crossing fingers) it actually runs this time.
  7. Having Mod Organizer and Steam installed on a separate SSD is actually a good idea and should not cause any issues at all. I originally had them on a separate hard drive from Windows and never ran into any issues.
  8. Glad to hear you managed to solve the issue, but please keep the language down to a safe for work level.
  9. I think the main guide should have a note somewhere instructing users to untick Have MO Manage Archives because of the number of users that won't click "Detailed instructions available" on Mod Organizer because they think it's already setup and configured correctly.
  10. The easiest way is to upload the screenshot to an image sharing site like imgur and copy the link to the image. Then here clicik the Image icon in the editor toolbar and paste the link into the Image Properties pop up.
  11. C0000005 is an access violation exception so you might try a stab in the dark by disabling your anti-virus software temporarily to see if this is causing it. If you don't get any luck with this, run a command prompt as an administrator and enter this command: sfc /scannow This will scan all Windows components to and replace any that are missing or corrupt. EDIT: Before running sfc /scannow, go into Control Panel, System, System Protection. Click the Advanced tab and click the Settings button in the Performance section. When the Performance Options options, click the Data Execution Prevention tab. Click Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only and click OK. I'm just thinking Data Execution Prevention might be preventing Mod Organizer or LOOT from writing to "protected memory" so it's worth a shot.
  12. You should remove the duplicate skse.ini file from Skyrim's data directory. The only files that should be in the Skyrim directory are skse.1_9_32.dll, skse_loader.exe, and skse_steam_loader.dll. Everything else should be in the SKSE mod in Mod Organizer.
  13. If you are using Mod Organizer, double click the SKSE mod in the left pane, click the INI files tab, and make the changes here. If this is what you did, double check to make sure you don't have a duplicate skse.ini file laying around somewhere. Also note that if you are increasing this to 1024, you may need to set ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false in enblocal.ini.
  14. Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition
  15. I recommend keeping the FNIS generated files separate in each profile as well. This way you can regenerate the FNIS animations or add new animations to a profile without it affecting the other profiles.
  16. Running every executable as administrator is not necessary and is not advised.
  17. I just completely goofed and posted in the wrong topic. Mea culpla
  18. Baseline gives a somewhat clear indication of which "version" of the mod should be installed for a nominal setup and goes a bit beyond just resolution -- Enhanced Lighting for ENB-LITE (Interior Lighting) and Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (Main File) for example. For the Performance and Extreme nomenclature, I think the quality options should be sufficient since the quality options are relative to baseline quality (when baseline refers to resolution).
  19. I think the best way to find out is to load it into TESVEdit and check yourself. Stealth Skills Rebalanced - Basic Version does change one or two of the perks, but I don't think these are heavy-handed changes and I'm not familiar with Ordinator. I think Realistic AI Detection is covering pretty much the same ground in terms of the AI detection portion of Stealth Skills Rebalanced. Kryptopyr has some decent detection changes so it's very difficult to get close to an NPC in broad daylight without getting caught. Event at long range, the NPCs in the area notice movement, noises, and attacks so they all come join the party and they keep hunting for a fairly long time before giving up. Sneak is significantly easier with high sneak skills, lots of sneak perks, and sneaky outfits but I still can't tap an NPC on the shoulder in the dark without getting caught. At the higher levels I have noticed the occasional Draugr eyeballs fly past me without noticing I'm standing still in the dark, but they find me every time they bump into me, get close enough to touch me, or if I'm moving while they are in close proximity. I've had to change my tactics so I grab the first sneak outfit I can find (usually off a Dark Brotherhood assassin) and I stay away from light sources as much as possible. The first time I made the mistake of getting too close to a light source, I got pounced by two Draugr and a Draugr Deathlord. I currently have a better set of Elven armor, but I don't wear it because it's so shiny it lights up like a torch.
  20. This can be a useful feature if you are adding mods on to top of STEP Core or Extended, but you'll have to work out the proper order of the mods you add in the left pane based on the conflicting assets you want used in the game.
  21. Kyptopyr's Stealth Skills Rebalanced includes AI detection changes based on sound, light, skill, NPC behavior, and clothing (meaning dark sneak outfits are more difficult to detect whereas bright 'n shiny outfits are easy to detect). I'm currently using Stealth Skills Rebalanced - Basic Version and loving it so much I intend to try to the full version next. I've seen Realistic AI Detection before, but I haven't tried it because I think Stealth Skills Rebalanced covers a lot more of the stealth skills (AI detection plus sneak, lockpicking, and pickpocket).
  22. The specific issue here is that Mod Organizer is using .NET 3.5 and versions of .NET prior to 4.0 require jumping through a few hoops with assembly redirects to bind to a newer version of the framework like this. .NET 4.0 and later have this built in so they automatically bind to the earliest matching version of the framework installed (e.g. DLLs requiring 4.0 automatically use 4.0, 4.5, 4.6, or 4.6.1 and DLLs requiring 4.5 automatically use 4.5, 4.6, or 4.61 depending on which one is found on the system). Of course, you should be able to go into control panel, programs and features, add/remove features and install .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 so all this is relatively moot.
  23. Also make sure you are editing the correct ini file in Mod Organizer's profiles (using the built-in ini editor for example). The ini files stored in your user profile folder aren't used by the game when run from Mod Organizer.
  24. What is this actorball mod you have installed in Skyrim's data directory? This one should be installed in Mod Organizer instead of in Skyrim's data directory. If you 2K VRAM (VideoMemorySizeMb=2000) are you running DynDOLOD with Low or Medium settings?
  25. If the vanilla game without any mods is stuttering, defrag your hard drive and verify all your settings in skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini, and verify you video card drivers and settings. If you've made any "questionable" edits to the ini files, you might just backup and delete them, run Skyrim Launcher to create fresh ones, and then use SPINI to create a good foundation to build on.
