  1. I'm the one that asked you to post your queries here in STEP, since this is the main support forum for MO. (I had to move it here as you had misposted in the General Support) I also asked you to provide specific details as to what you are seeing/not seeing. When I mentioned screenshots it was for these supposed errors that they might prove helpful. In the future if you wish to provide your modlist the text files inside your current profile are sufficient. I'll highlight a few points based on what you have supplied. The plugins list shown in those screenshots are sorted by name and not priority so it makes it next to impossible to see any errors quickly. The mods (left-hand pane) are also sorted strangely. e.g. the Unofficial Patch mods need to be placed immediately after the 'Unmanaged vanilla DLC' they are for. You have them very low in the order where they will overwrite mods that should be placed after them. You also have a number of mods that are not installed via MO (labelled as "Unmanaged") and these will cause issues with the mods that you have installed via MO. ALL mods should be installed by MO.
  2. Ok people, I'm back in the market for my system. Bit upset I didn't win that Fractal Design case and USD1000 from Amazon, but hey, what were the odds? So the current build is here. I've dropped the optical drive and peripherals as I can probably source those later and make do with some 'hand me down' stuff for the time being. I've gone for 2x4Gb RAM for the dual-channel and dropped the HDD for now, I have a 1Tb portable for storage if needed, again I can easily add a HDD if needed later. I'd like some input on the need for extra case fans also. Was using a cheap pack of 4x120mm fans but I'm thinking maybe 1 or 2 better quality ones with the idea of more if needed. The CPU, GPU, motherboard and monitor are pretty much settled I think, as is the case. I am open to other views if you think I've really stuffed up. One big selling point for me is that everything comes from the one place so I should be able to wrangle a bit of discount on the listed prices. About the only downfall now is the Aussie dollar has just dipped below US 70c so I'm going to be hit with a slight increase over the prices from a month ago. Can't be helped though.
  3. Examining the files in the 'Data' tab shows which mod or vanilla asset is providing the supplied file. Simply expand the "scripts" folder and any mod listed in RED is winning a conflict, the tooltip will list the mod(s) that also supply those files. If the vanilla files are losing the conflict the tooltip will say: Also in: data
  4. All you really need to do is open the Windows setting called "Turn Windows features on and off" and enable the .NET Framework 3.5. It may require a reboot but that should be sufficient to allow MO to use the specific .NET framework. We may need to re-evaluate the instructions on which .NET version is needed and what are the best steps to enable it, but since a new version of MO may be appearing shortly, it may wait until then.
  5. Software doesn't just decide to not work if it was working previously, you must have changed something on your system that has made this situation. Figure out what it is that has changed and either revert it or let us know what you did and we'll see if we can step you through a fix.
  6. Sadly it looks like what you suffered was an annoyance and regrettable, but not an MO issue. You probably don't have to re-install MO, just make a new profile and start with that. The selection of mods used to generate the game are listed in the folder named after the profile used in MO, if there was an issue with saving the files those may now be corrupted. Since your mods are still safe all you need do is add them to a new profile and you should be good to go.
  7. That looks an issue with your Windows setup, specifically the fonts available for use in the display. Or possibly the chosen font is expecting Unicode characters and it is getting ASCII, or vice versa. Either way I would expect that issue to show up in other areas of your system, not just MO, and also in other areas of MO's UI. Change the 'stylesheet' in MO to another one, or disable it, and see if that makes a difference.
  8. If I were a petty man, I might say Wrye Bash isn't worth using if it can't install some mods properly! Since I'm not, all's good then. Seriously though I am glad that Oblivion is currently getting a resurgence with this group of users. One of the best games around still.
  9. Two options: Revert to a previous version Make changes to ALL the fields in dialogue window and the saves are available
  10. First thing I would look at is whether Windows updated any files during this time period. Random crashes and files not being saved sound like MO was denied access to folders and couldn't complete the actions. The entire MO installation is a 'portable' one, meaning there are no hidden settings in files elsewhere or stored in the registry so any issues with it not seeing your saves or other files means those settings weren't saved in the modorganizer.ini, possibly when you experienced one of those random crashes.
  11. Maybe Chrome should re-examined as the browser of choice for all you FF users.
  12. Just keep your mods, downloads & profiles folders and modorganizer.ini
  13. The easiest fix for you I would suggest is to simply use a version before 1.3.10. Let this issue get settled and a new release comes that addresses it and then upgrade to that. Also since FNIS was in your list of tools doesn't in itself make this an issue with FNIS in MO, which is what this specific thread is for.
  14. If you are saying this is an issue with the latest version only then the easiest fix for you is to simply install 1.3.8, or whichever version you had before and run that. On the otherhand if this is the first time you are using MO we will need to have a look at how you have setup your system. Your logs and your INI at the least are needed. Additionally a read of the wiki and watching some of the installation videos is mandatory.
  15. Are they all your work?! They are simply amazing. Fantastic!
  16. Apparently any ENB INI that has that line: FixTransparencyBugs in it needs to changed. As I said though, I have no 1st hand knowledge of this.
  17. Since you've already added this information to the Bug Genie it probably isn't necessary to add it here, but thank you nonetheless. Unless I've completely missed the whole purpose of that 'Globe' icon, clicking it shouldn't log you in to Nexus with your browser regardless of the setting you have in MO. The storage of your password and account name is purely an internal feature designed to allow MO access to Nexus features from within MO, not the browser. What you do need to do though is invoke a Nexus action from within MO's UI to trigger the account registering in MO, merely adding the details to the 'Settings' page doesn't initialise it. "Checking all for updates" will cause a small progress dialogue to appear telling you your Nexus details are active and the titlebar will change to show your account name. This will mean endorsements and download status will be updated when those actions are done using MO.
  18. A young modder friend of mine, @Deadmano, has informed me of what he thinks is an ENB setting that may need attention. I have no idea of the efficacy of this change, or it's need, but I thought I'd just pass it on.
  19. For the login to take effect you will need to perform a Nexus specific function from inside MO, such as "Check all for Update". Assuming of course that you do have the correct login details set in the 'Settings'.
  20. Typically any mod that is created by the user should be placed after any mods that it may have been relying on. In this case it is best practice to place the FNIS - Output after any animation mods.
  21. It's definitely not a MO issue. The only thing the fomod does is check for existing requirements and then installs the only two files in the package. I've also set up SkyUI to be run without MO and the same thing happens. Really weird, I can't believe no one else hasn't experienced it and posted in the comments. I'm going to grab version 4.1 and see if the same thing happens. EDIT: Same issue with v4.1
  22. Only if you allow it to. I have it disabled as a service and Chrome is still much faster, IMHO.
  23. Really?! Damn, never come across it before. So all's good then? Any idea why it happens?
  24. At least we know the crash is because CK can't find a file! Maybe have another look at @hishutup's idea about which assets are being loaded. Set up an absolutely bare-minimum profile and call the CK from MO and see if you still get a crash. If not add in the mods you were wanting to edit and see if does then, if so those assets aren't getting used. Mind you it could be something obscure like the texture path in a *.nif is all wrong or worse. Trial and error is going to be friend in this I'm afraid.
  25. Either you're not explaining it clearly, or I'm not understanding it clearly, or both, but I still don't see where the issue/solution is. Let me try again. What you are asking is for the ability from within Windows explorer, or any other file manger, to pass the argument to MO so that it's VFS is called and then the correct assets are available? Have I got it this time? If so then perhaps an easy way would be to use the FreeCommander workaround found in the wiki and call that file manager from MO and then all your files that are available to the game in MO's VFS are also available in an environment like Windows explorer. It does seem though like you are looking for an easy way around the need to call MO to use it's VFS. I can't see how we can avoid that easily.
