ACCEPTED Lanterns of Skyrim - All In One (by MannyGT)
Kuldebar replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
That's too immersion breaking! After seeing LoS integrated with ETaC, I'm even more in love with it. -
Those screenshots posted a few posts above are pretty terrible and they don't look like the gems in my game. I've been using this mod for months now. Hopefully the mod author will keep working at resolving the few niggling issues that remain.

I'm waiting for the Hearthfires Version, but it looks like a very nice home mod, I don't like the mannequins though.

Consider it closed, can't argue with man who uses a stick.

ACCEPTED Skyrim Realistic Overhaul (by Starac)
Kuldebar replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've been using the optimized version of SRO, been very happy with VRAM usage, no longer pegged at max when out and about.- 425 replies

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Kuldebar replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Wow, just freaking wow! I finally dove in and read through the marvelous and meticulous "A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim" and used the REGS Patches...jaw dropping integration of mods I never would have touched before if left to my own devices. ETAC...is exceptional, more so with the REGS treatment. Skyrim Sewers, always a favorite of mine has a place of honor in the integrated approach. Just amazing. I truly am grateful for such an exceptional work. -
ACCEPTED Lanterns of Skyrim - All In One (by MannyGT)
Kuldebar replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
There's a CoT mod for LoS and also, depending on your ENB, there's often a esp to sync the LoS lantern's with the enb preset. Grim & Somber has one, for instance. Without the LoS adjustment. lanterns tends to give off a really red light. -
It is the topic, as you raised it as some point of relevance in your response, so you should elaborate?

That's what I'm seeing, yes. I don't use Vurt's mod, so I installed the vanilla version and my LOD's got updated to the new textures just fine. I run this Realistic Aspens with: HD Detailed Terrain - 50 Percent Version HD Enhanced Terrain PRO - Blended Version <--overrides noise file of other mod

SKYRIMLE Northern Bathhouses by dourdendevire
Kuldebar replied to Kuldebar's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
It impacts some objects in Dawn of Whiterun as well, presumably for the same reason as the flora stuff. -
SKYRIMLE Northern Bathhouses by dourdendevire
Kuldebar replied to Kuldebar's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
@CJ2311 Well, that's irritating information, thanks...I guess lol. Navmeshes are the bane of existence, seems like it would be a good idea to avoid changing them in the first place, especially for "clutter" mods" (which I roughly classify the "Dawns" mod series)... -
I don't use SFO, but assuming you installed one of these version of Realistic Aspens: Skyrim Flora Overhaul - Regular Edition v191 Tree LODSkyrim Flora Overhaul - Regular Edition v191 + Heavy Snow Pine Trees v06 Tree LODThey need to go after the SFO Textures, since it's a basic overwrite choice.

SKYRIMLE Northern Bathhouses by dourdendevire
Kuldebar replied to Kuldebar's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
But, what type of conflicts? Major clipping? Crashes due to navmesh collisions? I use all the "Dawns" out there, with the exception of Dawn of Whiterun, because it's bugged in some weird way and it also makes NPC Braith invisible on my system ( lol ) When I was using Dawn of Whiterun before with Bathhouses I don't recollect having an issue. I BOSS sorted, and was more concerned with the navmesh deletions, so I stopped using NB in my playthroughs. But, my curiousity is engaged, I wonder what the Dawn of Windhelm adds that conflicts with NB's entrance. Haven't made it tehre in game yet. -
Most of the time...yes but it would be disingenuous of me to say that every enb preset out there would look better with the de-saturated version. Also, there's no accounting for taste. An aside on rating artwork: I am always leery of the "testing" ( by others) of mods that make aesthetic changes to the game because: a.) one is required or encouraged at some level to defer to another person's assessment of aesthetic virtues once the results are "compiled" -this pronounced judgement is based on mood or "feeling" or other equally squishy criteria. b.) the test and the results can not be objectively based because the subject is not conducive to universal objective valuation Texture overhauls fit into this, excepting "mechanical" errors like missing meshes or alpha channels, etc. Testing has no other meaning.

ACCEPTED Enhanced Skyrim Factions - Companions Guild (by DreamKing)
Kuldebar replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
It's good the mod author has it split out that way then, so any conflicting-prone changes can be alleviated or avoided. -

The mod jumped the compatibility shark: -
Realistic Aspen Trees... I use an ENB and the Yellow Aspens were a bit too bright in the distance.. I also like the orange-ish color this mod presents, but the greatest benefit is the lower saturation (DE-saturated) version. The view is much less jarring, far more interesting and, to me, more realistic. I grew up in forested mountain country, this mod is a step in the right direction. Fall leaves...

Northern_Bathhouses_CLEAN ...Markarth, Solitude, Morthal, Whiterun, Dawnstar and Riften. Immersive Settlements version available as well. I didn't find this mod listed in the WIKI or the Forums on search. The mod has (finally!) been cleaned and the NavMesh issues addressed with Arthmoor's assistance. BOSS still hasn't been updated on the error, it appears according to forum posts.

Most Performance Intensive ENBseries.ini functions
Kuldebar replied to Nearox's question in Post-Processing Support
EnableReflection EnableDepthOfField On my system, the two settings above cause the most FPS loss, everything else is golden. I run Grim & Somber ENB at default settings with the exception of DoF and Reflections. But, I also don't expect 60 FPS, I get around 22-38 with Grim & Somber, but it is a smooth and non-stuttery 22-38 FPS :) I wanted 60 FPS, I'd set my ENBLocal for UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true -

CTD and Performance patch ENBoost (by Boris Vorontsov)
Kuldebar replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Well, that's the unfortunate complexity of all this, none of the CTD causes are mutually exclusive. I just know one type of CTD can be caused by setting reserved memory too low, but there's a hellacious number of other causes prevalent as well, as you well know, lol. -
CTD and Performance patch ENBoost (by Boris Vorontsov)
Kuldebar replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
You can have all the VRAM in the world, but if you don't have a big enough amount of it reserved for non-game purposes, you will CTD. -
CTD and Performance patch ENBoost (by Boris Vorontsov)
Kuldebar replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have increased CTD's when that setting is too low. ReservedMemorySizeMb has been optimized supposedly to allow for a smaller value setting, but it is still largely dependent on the individual PC scenario. When set too small there's less room for background GPU memory support and so insta CTD when something activates in the background while you are playing the game.
