I don't think you'd need to. It's only really affecting the loaded cell and the fix will be so small it'll not matter from a distance.

The Step Guide is not meant for VR. I'm fairly sure there are mods in the Guide that won't work in VR.

I believe this is fixed in dev. The next Guide's release is just around the corner, now.

Permissions don't allow and the author has ignored or refused my help with it so I've written that off. To each their own... We don't want the glow maps, but there are other textures we do want that could be a part of that. Point is, I'll have to go through installing the mod again to know what is what from the instructions. I'm thinking there is just some confusion in what is actually happening, but will need to check. -
There is a develop patch with this mod already patched up, but we don't release those to the public because they change often during the course of developing the next release.

I've not had or seen issue with this and ENB. Bleakfalls has that room with the spider and good lighting for checking.

I recommend we either find another mod to use this race or create a fomod that users can download and use. A fomod would be quicker and easier for users. The author doesn't give two flips about fixing FAR so at this point I would almost rather find another mod, to be honest. -

I'm updating some mods in my modlist and then I'll create a patch. Lets hope the MMCC Patch has already taken care of the landscape.

Discussion topic: Better Planet Generation by WoodyMontana Wiki Link BPG has been dropped for v3.4 Though it offers amazing gameplay, in its current format the mod is a lot to maintain. As the warning states on it's wiki page, this often results in prolonged times of cherished saved games being out of commission. This, in and of itself, doesn't align with the Step Mandate. We've also always eventually run into an issue or two with it installed, such as containers buried inside flora making them unreachable and being unable to complete some planets discovery due to added elements not being scan-able. We've been aware of BPG not aligning to the Mandate, and mostly overlooked it due to the experience it can bring. However, it's gotten to the point that we have stopped using it during development. It's for these reason's BPG is being dropped. BPG may be re-added at a later time. The author has stated they wish to redesign the mod from the ground up since Game Version 5.0 was released. With that said, Game Version 5.0 does offer more planetary variety than previous versions. It's not BPG, but it is better than before. Those that still wish to run BPG, may still do so and will find it in the QOL section.

I typically play with Inigo and it will need to be patched. I haven't done one for the current Guide, but I remember it was a fairly simple patch. However, there may be some conflicts with new CC content that I'm not fully aware of because Inigo does alter some landscape. If that is the case, a patch would need to be made in the CK.

You can activate the mod groups. It just stops some conflicts from showing that are suppose to be there. As for the scrollbar, don't worry about it. When the image was taken it was probably with a full Guide load order and not just up to that point in the Guide. -

Yes. We've already tested it and everything. It's actually much closer to vanilla lighting. I can confirm that some interiors will be darker compared to Luminosity. The big positive is that it restores the AI detection for sneaking to correct levels. Sneaking can actually be broken in some interiors with Luminosity because it's too bright (East Empire Company Warehouse has been reported a few times). We do make some adjustments so that it's not so harsh, but it will be darker.- 8 replies
