  1. This is how I would do it. In Mod Organizer, create a link to a new application: Title: Command Prompt Binary: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe Start in: ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\data Basically, you want the command prompt to start in the Skyrim/data folder so you don't have to do a lot fiddling to get to the data folder each time you run it. Now run the Command Prompt application and enter this command line: md E:\Textures xcopy textures E:\Textures /s /e You should change E:\Textures to the folder you want to copy the textures to, but this essentially copies the entire textures folder from the virtual file system to a new folder of your choice. EDIT: If I'm not mistaken, Mod Organizer should overwrite the appropriate files as they are exposed in the virtual file system when these files are changed. If it's a new file or folder, it may go into either the Overwrite virtual folder or Skyrim's data folder. This of course assumes this is a 32-bit application hooked by Mod Organizer with access to the virtual file system.
  2. I thought I might be able to help, but I don't have permission to access the attachment either.
  3. The first step is to install and enable Memory Blocks log then play until you reproduce the crash. After the game crashes, check the log to verify the SKSE memory tweak is working and that the first block hasn't run out of space.
  4. Did you run the Skyrim Launcher after moving Skyrim to another folder?
  5. Looks like this may be the root of your problem. C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) are protected folders so users do not have create, write, or delete permissions. You may want to use the Steam app to move Skyrim to another folder that isn't protected.
  6. To be honest, Vilja is an excellent mod and I know the mod author put in a lot of work getting this mod to the stage it is in now. It's just kind of sad that follower mods (including Serana) in this line become repetitive over time.
  7. Yes, install PapyrusUtils just like any other mod in Mod Organizer and leave it where it is in the left pane.
  8. According to the description, the Better Shaped Weapons patch changes three loading screen images to use Realistic Teeth.
  9. You might consider going the first part of the STEP 2.2.9.2 Guide that discusses optimizing the Sykrim ini files and configuring the video driver settings. After this go through the ENBoost settings page.
  10. I'm not sure we're using the term "injector" in quite the same way so I'll step back a bit and start with the basics... When you download ENB Series, the zip file contains both an injector version and a wrapper version. It is generally recommended to use the wrapper version with games like Skyrim and to use the injector version only in situations in which the wrapper version doesn't work for whatever reason. I don't really know much about the injector version since I've always used the wrapper version. With the wrapper version of ENB Series installed, you'll need to set iPresentInterval=1 in skyrim.ini, EnableVSync=true in enblocal.ini, and VSync to be application controlled in the video driver. With all three set properly, you should get vertical sync at your monitor's refresh rate (usually but not always 60Hz). To use SweetFX, you'll need to edit the Proxy section in enblocal.ini to something like this: [PROXY] EnableProxyLibrary=true InitProxyFunctions=true ProxyLibrary=ReShade32.dll You may find these instructions helpful to get SweetFX up and running with ENB Series.
  11. Yes, I was being completely sarcastic although hishtup says it best.
  12. I also removed the last sentence, which seems to get at the root of the issue: The BSAs may be loaded in plugin load order, but it doesn't appear the game's built-in BSA versus loose files rule applies. In any case, I'll drop it and move on. EDIT: I think you and DoubleYou explain it well. This is a minor issue and Mod Organizer 2 is just around the corner.
  13. Oops... I thought I had already marked this one for testing. I have this one installed so it overrides Enhanced Blood Textures and the dummy plugin is not necessary with Mod Organizer.
  14. STEP has a citizenship guide? :O_o:
  15. This is primarily an issue with the vanilla stealth system. I've had bandits and draugr literally bump right into me and they still don't see me standing there. If you want something a little more realistic, you might consider installing Stealth Skills Rebalanced (Basic Version) at the bottom of the Gameplay section (just after Even Better Quest Objectives). Feel free to follow the discussion on Stealth Skills Rebalanced and provide your thoughts on it if you decide to use it. I used the basic version in my last testing play through and loved it and I have the full version installed for a new testing play through -- although I haven't gotten much past Whiterun on this one yet. I think you should rebuild the bashed patch after installing this mod. I don't remember getting a 20x stealth multiplier with bows, although the vanilla game does make most weapons feel overpowered when playing adept level. I know there are quite a few mods available that help make this a bit more realistic, but I haven't gotten into these mods yet.
  16. As much as I dislike acroyms because of the potential for confusion and miscommunication, I have to confess I am really grateful this crowd hasn't fallen into txting yet.
  17. Based on the recent discussion in the BSA Management off yet a BSA is taking priority over loose files topic, this section of the Mod Organizer guide is either incorrect or misleading. I suggest rewriting this as follows:
  18. I tried a quick 'n dirty experiment and I can't find a difference with BSA Management checked or unchecked. I downloaded Aesthetics Bolt Quiver and added all the loose files to Isharas_AestheticBoltQuiver.bsa so I have just the plugin and the BSA without any extraneous loose files. Regardless of the whether "Have MO manage archives" is checked or unchecked, I see these results with your mod and XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended (all loose files) installed: ABQ after XPMSE in the left pane and ABQ after XMPSE in the right pane uses the assets from ABQ. ABQ after XPMSE in the left pane and ABQ before XPMSE in the right pane uses the assets from ABQ. ABQ before XPMSE in the left pane and ABQ after XPMSE in the right pane uses assets from XPMSE. ABQ before XPMSE in the left pane and ABQ before XPMSE in the right pane uses assets from XMPSE. I've never used Mod Organizer with "Have MO manage archives" unchecked, but this does seem to contradict the information in the guide that implies loose files should override BSAs when unchecked. Assuming this is true, apparently the only function of BSA Management is to use BSAs without an associated plugin. Of course, it would be interesting to get Tannin's definitive response on this behavior.
  19. The way I did this was to configure SKSE's INI file to use Sheson's memory fix and then installed Crash Fixes without any changes. The default settings in the Crash Fixes INI file has the new memory allocation scheme disabled by default so so you'll need to use Sheson's memory fix. EDIT: To be clear if you do want to use the Crash Fixes memory patch, you'll need to tweak the Crash Fixes INI file and the SKSE.ini file.
  20. I never understood the point of partitioning drives since it doesn't really provide any significant benefits in the majority of cases. In the case of a boot drive with spinning media, it can make the drive work harder and degrade performance because the heads are constantly doing a long dance between the page file near the beginning of the platter and Skyrim's assets near the end of the platter. In the case of SSDs, it's still the same physical drive so there aren't any performance benefits. It also makes management more difficult because I now have to manage two partitions with smaller free space each than one partition with one chunk of free space.
  21. If Windows isn't giving you an option to do anything with the file or folder, it may be because the file or folder is currently locked by some process and is in the pending queue to be deleted after it is unlocked. Try closing all applications to see if this releases the lock. If it doesn't, you may need to logoff and logon or (last resort) reboot.
  22. You should post this on Tannin's issue tracker. https://github.com/TanninOne/modorganizer/issues
  23. Post your system specs (e.g. video card, total VRAM, total RAM, processor, x86 or x64 operating system, etc.) in your new thread so we have more information to go on. You might also consider using spINI to setup clean INI files with known good settings.
  24. What are your system specs?
