  1. I'm good with the safe and wine as well.
  2. Click Configure Profiles The Default profile should be selected so verify "Use profile-specific Save Games" is checked and "Use profile-specific Game INI Files" is checked. Select the second profile in the list and verify both checkboxes are checked. Select the third profile in the list and verify both checkboxes are checked. If these are checked for all profiles, I can't see any reason the saves would be anywhere other than your profile folder.
  3. This should be fixed now. Thanks
  4. I got around to building Lakeview Manor today as well and it seems to integrate into Oakwood very pleasantly. I actually like the grass in the road leading into Oakwood because it seems to indicate the road isn't used much... at least this was my initial impression walking down the road to Oakwoood. I built the kitchen, master bedroom and storage room and see I was sadly mistaken about the bed layout. It actually has two twin beds on one side and a queen bed on the other side of the house. I could have sworn it had four twin beds upstairs so either I'm confusing it with another player-built home with a slightly different layout or my mind is mush.
  5. This one seems rather odd in that the prefix implies it is an integer value and the suffix implies it is a bitmap, so it may be challenging to decipher which bits are used and what they do.
  6. Yes, this is with the bedroom option on one of the wings. The bedroom provides a queen bed for you and your spouse and two twin beds for adopted children. This basically provides 6 twin beds and 1 queen bed, so you're still limited to 8 people sleeping at one time. I did have a carriage driver in one build years ago. I seem to recall the carriage is in front of the house (between the house and stable), but I don't remember if the carriage driver ever came into the house at night. At one point years ago I had a spouse, housecarl, steward, bard, and carriage driver. The housecarl mostly patrols the property during the day. I remember the steward could be given orders to go fetch stuff, but I don't remember if he just hangs around the house waiting for orders or does other things outside. I seem to recall the bard hangs around the house all day, all night.
  7. Lakeview Manor has four twin beds upstairs plus the two twin beds for adoptable children and the queen size bed in the master bedroom downstairs if you build the full house. I usually build Lakeview Manor as a test house, but I never use use it because it's not really all that flexible as you note and it's not really in a kid-friendly neighborhood. I don't recall ever having more than a guard and a steward as staff, though. I know there is an option to hire a bard, but I've never elected to do so because I don't want that noise in my house. The first time I built Lakeview Manor, I included the library and immediately wished I had picked something more useful. I would be nice to have the option to tear down a room and rebuild it as something else, but player home mods are usually a better choice overall.
  8. @z929669 Yes, I was trying to say that this one step was removed and I wasn't sure whether Majestic Mountains LOD should be active or inactive after generating the LOD because of the information on the detailed instructions page. This was the only step that I stumbled on while setting up the guide after your edits.
  9. The step to deactivate "(TEMP) - Majestic Mountains - LODGen" was removed from the DynDOLOD section of the guide. I asked about this on the guide page and @TechAngel85 says it should not matter if it remains activated.
  10. In all the years I've played Skyrim, I've never run across this elusive Ebony Warrior.
  11. The STEP LE guide was using Rustic Monuments and Tombstones and Rustic Nordic Murals from this set and I think both of these were good choices. I think the primary difference in the Windhelm monument wall and tombstones is that Skyrim Realistic Overhaul is weathered and difficult/impossible to read whereas Rustic Monuments and Tombstones is not so weathered and easy to read, but this is strictly based on looking at the DDS files. Rustic Standing Stones and Rustic Word Walls were both in testing for the STEP LE guide. I think the standing stones appeared to be somewhat rusty and I doubt it would have been included based on the conversations. I have no idea where Rustic Word Walls would have ended up except to say it sounds as @TechAngel85 may have given a very slight edge to Rustic Word Walls after removing the normal map that caused the stone to be too bumpy.
  12. I'm mostly agreeing with @TechAngel for most of these: Akatosh: STEP Arkay: STEP Dibella: STEP Julianos: Remiros' Shrines HD Kynareth: I do not like any of these, but I think it's primarily because the vanilla design is so bad. It look as is someone removed an air pump from a forge and put a clown face on it. Mara: STEP Stendarr: I could go with either, but I have a very slight leaning toward Remiros' Shrines HD Zenithar: Remiros' Shrines HD Talos: Remiros' Shrines HD
  13. I went though the history and see it was removed from the 3D Tree LOD Wrap Up section (just before Occlusion). I think either the guide should include a step to disable it if this is what should be done, or the detailed instructions for Majestic Mountains should be changed so it's consistent with the guide. I disabled it after generating the Occlusion ESP before starting the game. If it doesn't matter one way or the other, I'll leave it disabled. 7. Disable the ''(TEMP) - Magestic Mountains - LODGen'' mod (it is no longer needed as a resource).
  14. Are we missing a step to deactivate the (Temp) - Majestic Mountains - LODGen mod after generating LOD? The detailed instructions for Majestic Mountains state this temp mod will be enabled for generating LOD and disabled afterwards, but I don't see the steps to do so.
  15. I just edited the guide (be afraid... be very afraid ) to add step 8 in the Run DynDOLOD / Standard Tree LOD section that was missing. Run DynDOLOD from the MO2 executable drop-down list. Click the Advanced button once the main tool window is displayed. Select all worldspaces. Ensure the Candles, FXGlow, Generate static LOD, Create texture atlas, Generate tree LOD, Generate DynDOLOD, Windows, and High boxes are ticked. Set Max tile size equal to the texture size used for TexGen previously. Keep the default Output Path and click Medium. Users with systems able to handle High settings, may do so. Click [OK], and get a cup of coffee. This takes ~20-30 minutes on SSDs. Once the completed message has appeared, click Save & Exit.
  16. Fixed that for you.
  17. Based exclusively on your screenshots, I agree that Just Ice seems to be too bright/shiny and does not mesh well with Cathedral Landscapes.
  18. Unblocking archive files prior to extraction may not be necessary if you are using 7zip to extract the files. I seem to recall 7zip doesn't bother replicating Microsoft''s foolishness. I highly recommend unblocking *.zip files if you are extracting them using Windows Explorer to prevent the extracted files from being blocked and triggering an extra layer of security.
  19. You should install both part of SSE Engine Fixes according to the detailed instructions linked from the guide. Specifically, download and install "(Part 1) Engine Fixes" with Mod Organizer. Download "(Part 2) Engine Fixes - skse44 Preloader and TBB Lib" with your browser (do not download and install this file with Mod Organizer). After the Part 2 file is downloaded, open the folder where you saved the file, right click, click Properties, click Unblock, click OK. Now extract the contents of the Part 2 file to the Skyrim Special Edition folder (../Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim Special Edition).
  20. I vote to stick with Skyrim SE Improved Puddles. I don't want any half-frozen slushy puddles.
  21. I completely missed the tiling issue until Z pointed it out, but I agree with @TechAngel85 that it's just different and personal taste. I don't see a reason to switch away from whatever STEP is currently using for lava.
  22. I take it BC7 Quick vs Max is something along the lines of achieving a reasonable compression ratio really quickly or achieving a higher compression ratio that requires (perhaps significantly) more time?
  23. And here I was thinking the banding was a feature of the mod.
  24. Superior does seem to be a better version of vanilla. Regarding the artifacts on the cocoons, are you referring to the extra lighting/reflection?
