  1. As I mentioned earlier - I use it and find no issue with the graphics RS has chosen to employ. It's not the torrential downpour I see when I'm out in it, but as long as it's apparent that I'm *not* in it, that's enough for me. It works as it's designed to work - any perceived issues are due to mod lineup, and must either be accepted or dealt with in another fashion. If, in your case, it's too distracting for you, and would rather have rain hitting you in the face under shelter than have a seeming mismatch between what you are seeing in two separate positions, than yes - remove RS. Me? I'm dry(ish), and that's good enough for me, considering the functionality was never there to begin with.
  2. Not without a whole new set of graphics to make it look how you want it. RS can only use what the mods it is based on provide... that's what the Patcher is doing - looking for those records and graphics for usage. It matches them up as best it can, but it can't make new graphics by magic. *shrug* Limitations, man, limitations.
  3. Simple answer? Yes. I run with DOWNPOUR, and it provides another set of backgrounds, so to speak, for RS to work with. It doesn't QUITE match up, but it's far better than w/o it.
  4. Haven't seen much in the way of bugs since the iNeed stuffs got resolved. Works well enough, so far as I can tell.
  5. I still have this issue. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on it's resolution?
  6. I imagine that would depend on if CACO gets brought it. If it comes in, this would have to by definition, since CACO requires it.
  7. Everything he just said there. Even long range detection is easier for the NPCs. I was a good long ways off, trying to pick off a few bandits at Halted Stream, missed my first shot, settled in to wait the (much longer) time needed for them to reset, and somehow, one spotted me. I guess that guy had magika-improved eyeballs or something. @Greg - You'd think there'd be a minimum skill level of 1 to keep that kind of thing from happening, wouldn't you? :)
  8. OK, been playing this for a week or so now, and WOW does it change things. Sneaking is a lot harder, lockpicking is beyond hard, and I have yet to manage to steal from anyone, mostly because sneaking is a lot harder. Up check!
  9. Most likely does - Everything seems to conflict with it. If this DOES get (has been?) accepted, I think the Requirements Only version is the one that should be used, for exactly the reasons you mention.
  10. Not to be on topic or anything ( :D ) but with all the obvious support, may as well call this done and mark accepted as part of WAF.
  11. Uh oh - sounds like vote time! Yes. Yes. Yes. And, for clarity, yes. :)
  12. *shrug* For reference, all my replies and discussion are using the Requirements Only version... which may explain why I haven't noticed any unvoiced dialog yet. Or maybe because I haven't had a game much beyond the opening couple hours the last several times due to mod lineup changes. I'm bad like that.
  13. If you are looking for quest workovers, I think that's unlikely. Even this one doesn't do that - all it does is make requirements for certain events to happen, which all the ones I've mentioned do as well and in similar fashion. There is no more substance to the Companions now than there was before - it's just timed and paced differently.
  14. Not true, in my experience. I use 1080p with an FOV of 81, and it's all smooth sailing for me. Mayhaps an ENB would mitigate the problem you speak of? I've not noticed any blockiness in quite a long time.
  15. Forgot about that... thought both NSFs were in testing still. My point still stands, however. :)
  16. I just wanna know what it's doing in Kynareth's Temple in Whiterun. I bet Danica had it hidden away somewhere, that sneaky priestess...
  17. You mean like... Thieves Guild Requirements? (Included in Step...) Not So Fast - Mages Guild? (In testing for Step...) Not So Fast - Main Quest? (In testing for Step...) I agree one for the Dark Brotherhood would be nice, but I think we have the other ones covered at this point. :)
  18. And solved. For some unknown reason, the patcher, which I am religious about running when I update my load order, was giving me back a completely empty plugin, and I somehow missed it.
  19. Wait - aren't those the same thing? The patcher is what builds RSpatch - there isn't anything that does anything to the RealSHelter.esp itself, unless I missed something huge.
  20. Similar to this than? www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1603/? Under optionals.
  21. For anyone else using this: I've noticed that I'm not seeing any sheltering effects at all anymore. IE - Under shelter, rain still pelting me. I installed the two patches that are relevant (JK and ETAC), even set RealShelter to load after all of those mods, just to check. As far as I can tell, it's doing nothing. Any way to check to see if it's even running? The MCM shows up, but no changes under the shelter makes me wonder...
  22. Any new info on this mod? Any real playtesting?
  23. Oh they make sense enough, it just forces me to give up a mod that I really don't want to. I understand the idea behind the perk system, but I really don't care for it. To me, the perks should be natural extensions of me building the skill - not something I have to spend points on in some fashion. If I spend the time needed to build a skill, that, to me, is the investment needed to get the associated bonus. Unfortunately, the mods that allow for this (Automatic Perks, for example, though not the one I use...) can't cope with changes to the perk trees structure. I'm left in a position where I either have to not use mods like this, which make sense, or give up something that I personally consider a fix. Not a fun place to be.
  24. I was also slightly confused by the description on one point, if I could get clarification: I get that in the Basic version, the changes to the Stealth perk tree aren't included - no mentions of how basic vs full affect the other two trees. Also, I'm not entirely clear on if perk stars are added or altered for them. It's prob'ly in there, but it may have been overly masked in fancy language and pretty pictures. I like those... (and so do Naval Officers, for the record) but they may have dazzled me too much and hidden what I was looking for. Why? Uhm... I use a mod that grants a perk as soon as you meet the skill requirements for it. So if this changes the basic perk structure, that pro'ly wont work anymore. I"m considering removing it anyhow, but I don't wanna screw with my current playthrough, if I don't have to.
  25. I think you might mean ICIAO.... Improved Citizen AI Overhaul.
