  1. Figured as much, and installed as such. Thanks for the quick reply. On a slightly seperate matter, and one I know has been debated in other threads (with much gnashing of teeth and clashing of wills on both sides), but I'm looking for an official-ish answer: MO reports mods out of order even with the 2.2.9 setup. I know you were trying to eliminate that or whatnot, but since it's there... *ahem* To reorder, or not to reorder. That is the question.
  2. From the new guide, relating to the Serious HD Retexture Skyrim Mod in section 2.F : "Install the Serious HD Retexture RIFTEN 1024px main file and the Serious HD Retexture RIFTEN 1024px optional file." Uhm... The file you list is ONLY an optional. Perhaps a different file was intended to be listed for the first half? Given that LANDSCAPES is the only one, I would assume that, but I'd rather check and be certain.
  3. I run at 1080p... though it is on a 60" screen. Yeah, your replies only confirmed what I thought. I will take a look at Skylight tonight. The only one I can for certain remember using was RealVision, mostly based on COT compatibility and endorsements on Nexus. Even had it worked, it was not what I was looking for. At this point, however, I will settle for working first, then finding the pretties I seek.
  4. ... and this is what I was getting at. Given that LOOT provides most bash tags, how would I even know if there were any tags missing? It isn't like there is a list on a per mod basis for me to check it against. I gathered from your earlier post that what you say is a true statement, but what, exactly, should I be looking for? EDIT: I'm going to take another look with the official 2.2.9 lineup and the LOOT metadata changes to load order and see what happens. Who knows? Maybe this just became a moot issue.
  5. Interesting, as Wet and COld just added in hoods for kids modded by things like RS children. WOuldn't think that would affect this. Also, it doesn't seem limited to just the named NPCs... I've run into a few out in the wilds (a forsworn and a hunter, one male and the other female) that are doing the same. As the the TES5Edit portion, I can barely make sence of it enough to clean mods properly when prompted by LOOT. I'll look into this more, but as I recall, this didn't start until after I had installed Better Males (I snuck a peek at 2.2.9... so it's MOSTLY set up on those lines). Makes me wonder if that is somehow involved as well...
  6. Greetings, all. First, by way of intro, I've been following and using STEP Core and Extended (with many addiotns... surprise!) since at least 2.2.3, possibly earlier. This is, without question, the most comprehensive set of fixes, additions, and upgrades to be found for the game, and the dedication many of you show is... well, simply amazing. So, on the the questions. As I mentioned, I've been running STEP for some time now. I run the entirety of the list, using 1K resolutions, as recommended. My system is a 64-Bit WIN7 w/ 16GB RAM and a GtX 770 with 4GB VRAM, i7 Chipset running at 3.4 GB, no overclocking of any kind. On multiple occasions, I have attempted to step (no pun intended) beyond the normal graphics with an ENB. I've tried probably six to ten of them over the course of the last year, and while some of them have been downright gorgous, they all have one huge setback - FPS drops into the dirt. Now, I understand that some FPS hit is gonna happen - I expect that. This is far from the first game I've modded. However, the amount of drop I'm seeing (usually into the high 20's to low 30's, even in some indoor areas) floors me. Given the nature of the game and the power I have at my disposal, I would expect it to run at least a BIT better than that, but to this point I have no luck figuring out how. I continually see other players who happily play thier games with ENB presets and systems that are at or below my level with heavily modded setups, yet this somehow eludes me. So that, in essence, is my question: what piece of magical Skyrim voodoo am I missing here? It's patently possible, from what I've read, but the exact how seems to be hiding in plain sight, sticking it's tongue out at me.
  7. Forgive the intrusion here, but could you clarify on this a little bit? I've been seeing similar things as what Dan reported in multiple places across Skyrim. I'm not a SR user, but as this is the only place I've seen this issue even raised, I figure it's the best place to maybe find an answer. As best I could tell, the solution was to manually set the DELEV and RELEV tags for the aMidianBorn_ContentAddon file, which I have done, followed by rebuilding the patch. I've done this, and have seen at least one or two men still walking around in nearly nothing. Additionaly, since setting those tags, I've noted a change in how CCOR is sorting items in the blacksmithing menus as well, specifically that some of the Nordic gear is showing up under MISC (four, maybe five pieces, but still...) If this was, indeed, how the problem SHOULD have been solved, then could I get a few ideas of how to go about finding the no doubt sneaky culprit that is depriving the locals of thier clothes? If it WASN'T the correct solution, could I get some clarification on what the solution actually is?
