Immersive Citizens' patches were integrated already, with the author's permission. Hearthfire Extended is integrated so we don't need to change the master. Farmhouse Chimney's is a problem. SP knows the author pretty well, maybe we could get him to give her the updated plugin. The script doesn't work on the STEP Patches AFAIK. Maybe Mator updated it. Doesn't matter anyways I did it by hand.

Any where that had water indoors might have a RWT sound or effect that conflicted. I think most the ELE effects that didn't 'win' were the ones that conflicted with CRF. I don't always know what CRF is doing, but because it adds new stuff I always let it 'win' conflicts.
-
Not having ELE in the patches is probably not the right choice. To many records that conflict between RWT, ELE, and AOS I think. Can't remember which ones exactly. Removing ELE from a patch is simple enough. Just delete 10 or so records. That's why I also want to move to the installer that has an optional for it.

I may have put the Core patch in the STEP Patches thread.
-
Got the Extended Patch done. Core patch is in this thread, just scroll up I guess. Just a beta though, I'll do one more pass with it. https://copy.com/FiiCY68r0Ex33uuq Non-ELE versions will come later. Bed now.

1. I think you modify the Vault suit with the Insulation mod and it will give higher Rad resistance + there are quite a few gas masks around. That should give you at least +20 Rad Resistance. Don't know how long storms last since the only time I was in one, I get murdered by a swarm of those blood bugs and died. Take Rad-X too. 2. Looks like it functions a bit like Skyrim's companion system, but you can inject them with Stimpaks during battle. 3. I think you can make mines and grenades, but I don't think you can make ammo. I haven't seen it yet, but I think I made a frag mine. 4. The workbenches from places you are allied with are safe storage. They also share their containers no matter what location. So, if use the Red Rocket and Sanctuary they will share containers as just one big one. Really useful, but only works for places you ally with. 5. Might have to google that one. Probably something to do with INIs I guess. That or a different version of game.

ACCEPTED Timing is Everything (by kryptopyr)
EssArrBee replied to vfxninjaeditor's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Okay, Thanks. -
CRF plugin for this relies on USKP. Gonna need to roll it into the STEP Patches if we get permission or see if Scarla will update it. The CRF plugin is not a patch though it's an addon.

@Kryp, does this mod need to be updated for USLP? A few Quest records look like they may need some fixes forwarded. Maybe just WICastMagic04 "Shout - learn about word wall" [QUST:00023EE4] but I'm not really an expert on quests. -
[POLL] Interest in Fallout 4 Guide
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in General Fallout 3 Discussion & Support
Yeah, I found this list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Films_set_in_Boston,_Massachusetts Looks like there is tons of Boston stuff. Good Will Hunting is my go to Boston movie because I like to add a ton of quotes to the heading of each section and that movie has sooooooooooo many good ones. "You f***in' retarded? You went all the way out there in the rain and you didn't bring the number?" "Morgan! If you're watching pornos in my mom's room again, I'm gonna give you a ******* beating!" "Hey, do you like apples? Well, I got her number. How do like them apples?" "You're legally allowed to drink now, so we figured the best thing for you was a car." "Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house, watchin' the Patriots games, workin' construction, I'll f***in' kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f***in' kill ya." I love that movie. RIP Robin. :'( -
[POLL] Interest in Fallout 4 Guide
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in General Fallout 3 Discussion & Support
Yeah, doing a guide all on your own can be very demanding. Really burns me out too when I'm doing the main STEP stuff and then going on to F&L, then back again. Didn't expect that when I started it. I was looking at some Boston based movie/books for a name and there are some really great ones, but I haven't played enough of the game to get a feel for which is right. The Departed, The Town, Mystic River, Boondock Saints, Moneyball, Good Will Hunting... that's just off the top of my head. I kinda like the movie theme for the Fallout guides too. -
Started with the vanilla lady character, but changed the hair to a different style. Didn't want to mess with it to much because I used to spend like a hour on that stuff with Skyrim. I picked up that military hat, Green Beret style, with some regular eye glasses. They I found that sweater vest and slacks to go full art house hipster.

Trying to see where the STEP community sits on having a guide start to take shape for Fallout 4. There are already a decent amount of mods popping up to change little things like textures. RainFO4 MoonWETFCO EyesNatural EyesEyes of BeautyEnhanced Blood TexturesNumerous Reshade profilesA smaller guide could get started as things come along before the CK/GECK is released. At thing point I don't know if we can do a STEP-type guide without Mr. S4N putting the work to create the framework for the mod lists and mod pages. Not even sure if the staff would be willing to do it, but I'll ask anyways just to see what people want. Leave more suggestions if you have them. At this early point there is nothing on or off the table.

ACCEPTED Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch (by UPP Team)

F4SE will probably be in the pre-alpha stage in about two weeks. Those are pretty quick, but they had to write some new wrappers for the 64-bit stuff it looks like. Then you have to create all the classes from decoding the engine. The keybinding thing is partly due to Steam's way of handling executables. It's much easier to roll the code into the EXE, but that leaves it hardcoded. They usually do it for games where you can cheat such as FPS games where your turbo buttons on custom controllers are available. This isn't a big deal for RPGs, but it must be linked to the Steam workshop as well since that was originally created for Team Fortress 2. I'd bet the guys that come along and do the MCM conversion will figure out how to open it up for some modder to create a customizable key binding setup.

Currently we only have one FISS mod in STEP. I'll see about putting some instructions and FISS file on the Timing is Everything page. Also, shurah gave me permission to incorporate his CRF patch into the STEP Patches, so I'll finish those up tonight. Mator wrote a script to transfer the plugins from the old UPs to USLP, so it will take way less time now.

ACCEPTED WET - Water Enhancement Textures (by SparrowPrince)
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fallout 4 Mods
Did you find a plugin that lets you see the textures properly for GIMP or PS? I'm assuming so. The F4SE thread has some good info about what works. Seems intel has a beta plugin coming soon that should work all the new file formats.- 3 replies
