  1. They haven't stopped supporting mods in the release version, only the beta. It just makes sense to not want plugins to load by default with a beta patch. You can't really do proper testing when people have a bunch of bootleg plugins active. I bet the reactivate plugin loading again when the when 1.1 or w/e they call it goes official. I'm still using Wrye Flash and it works with plugins.
  2. Name one magic better than nipple magic.
  3. Let LOOT sort the mods before you open xEdit. Maybe use the Standalone Merge Script instead of xEdit. I would leave the ESM out of it and just merge the ESPs. I haven't merged an ESM in a while and don't remember the right way to do it. Anyways after you merge it, just use the Bash Tagger Script for xEdit to get the right ones to show up. That script is listed in the F&LNV guide. At least I think it is.
  4. Populated casinos is the mod that produces that plug in. A different mod provides map markers. Both should be cleaned.
  5. Kinda makes you wonder why it took 4 years for NARC and this mod to come out.
  6. Looks like there is a mod that can compliment FNVLODGen. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61035/? Basically it does the terrain stuff while FNVLODGen does the objects. Might need to look into it when I fianlly poke my head out from the Commonwealth.
  7. Crime Overhaul by chinagreenelvis Complete rebalance of crime in Skyrim. Makes it harder to fool guards than a bag of rocks. Adjusts all the crime bounties. Sheathing a weapon with a friendly NPC will stop the violence. Maybe a good complimentary mod to NARC.
  8. Get rid of those filthy cats! #DogLivesMatter
  9. I really gotta start keeping my own wiki pages up to date, don't I?
  10. I think Immersive Citizens and Hearthfire Extended need to be in the required files. Hearthfire Extended only for Extended.
  11. Nowadays they all use those fancy Integrated Development Environments. Eclipse, Net Beans... I'm sure there's a bunch of them. Ninite probably has a few.
  12. I think I heard that so far PC sales about really good for the game. Don't expect to many of the Battlefield players to jump over just because it's a DICE game. There was still a very vibrant Battlefront 2 community that was wanting a new game for years. Lots of cool maps and mods were made for that game floating around. Those people are probably the ones flooding to the new game on PC. Also, it's supposedly the biggest Star Wars launch ever at >1.5 million copies in the first week. Much lower that initial predictions, but still good overall. With Christmas coming up I'd bet it hits over 6 million in sales, so there will a pretty active player base for a while.
  13. It makes perfect sense for Bethesda to disable mods with beta patches. You don't want to try to fix bugs for mods on a beta version.
  14. Discussion topic: ScratchMade - New Double Barrel Shotgun textures by Millenia Wiki Link The living embodiment of 2nd Amendment rights has released his first weapon retexture for Fallout 4. Looks real nice.
  15. Doesn't matter if it has zero. I just write it that way so you don't have to do extra work.
  16. Leave the green ones unticked. In Wrye Bash you'll see the little plus sign in the box next to the plugin if it is merged to the Bashed Patch. Red exclamations are always some kind of missing mesh. I'd first see how many total plugins are ticked and make sure it's <135. Then maybe reinstall Spice of Life.
  17. The Bashed Patcher merges most of those into the Bashed Patch so you can save plugin slots. Don't get rid of them though. Retick any mods that were purple in the Wrye Bash list too.
  18. Oh, that's good. I usually fix that type of stuff with the STEP Patches. I was under the impression it was a masterfile issue with USKP/USLP.
  19. We know Ganda though. Just gotta get phazer or hishy to let him know. Pretty sure it was Ganda that they knew. Maybe it's MangaClub, I forget names pretty easy.
  20. It's all one installer now. You'll need to remove the STEP Texture Compilation and the STEP Patches if you already had them from 2.2.9.1. The new file replaces everything except the optimized textures for easy of use. Tech, the High Res versions of the compilations are uploading. Gonna be a while though. Long while. The archives are over 300MBs larger. You'll still have to rearrange the files for the installer too.
  21. Hey DY, can you add something for the Core or Extended mods in the table? Prompt that from the mod pages somehow.
  22. You should do merges before you generate any dynamic plugins like DynDOLOD and any Skyproc stuff like Dual Sheath Redux. You'll have to redo DDL and DSR if you want to go forward with your merges.
  23. The original mod is not outside of the scope of STEP and the newest version is not outside of it either. We should think of moving to this version more as an update than anything else.
  24. What mods have HQ version? I'll throw it together tomorrow. Maybe tonight if I'm not in to much of a food coma.
