I'll start testing those files tomorrow. To wrapped up in just playing around that trying to have fun to care about how pretty stuff is. That will probably wear off in a few more hours of playing. I'm thinking that there is a mesh problem. That has to be the only reason that some of the textures look that way. You just can't muck it up that bad without doing it on purpose. Wonder if Brumbek is already looking into it.

The other mod was started by Rafuel, but he never finished it. I guess he passed in on to someone else that did it up right. Pretty much the same guy for both though. -

There are a lot of really good textures to be seen, but it makes the bad ones stick out just that much more. Apparently some of it might from improper texture formats. I mean it's not like Bethesda to need there textures optimized or anything. That opening enemy in Concord is pretty freaking tough. I think they did that on purpose though. @Sparrow, there is an archive extractor now with a GUI. It's on the hot files of the FO4 Nexus if you wanna avoid the command line.

Lets use the SP meshes that are now in TRF and keep an eye on the new meshes. If they do something with that weird roof clipping then we'll reconsider which ones to keep.

The question Tech just answered about the MCM settings for Thieves Guild Reqs. just reminded me that Timing is Everything has FISS support. We can make a custom setting for that mod and distribute it ourselves. FISS basically allows for MCM settings to be saved as a file so you don't have to redo it every time a new game starts. Timing is Everything is kinda the perfect mod for using FISS since it has a bunch of settings.

If he's moving on to FO4, then we should ask about using XCE for the compilation. More authors might be willing to part with their work now that FO4 is out.

The author Rafuel did a DB version of robes way back. Same basic principal where he added some designs to the robes. I've mentioned it a few times and would be the logical companion to these. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35965/?- 47 replies

Med-Tek Facial Reconstructions by Xenius From the same author as XCE from Skyrim. Same basic goal as well. Good one to watch early on as Xenius is great author.

Do you mean that version number of MO isn't showing or the version number of mods? If it's the mods then right click on the top bar of the right pane were it says mod pane and tick the boxes you want.

Good, now we can figure out the 3rd person camera settings. Why do devs keep giving us that stupid over the shoulder mod and not the overhead that everyone wants? Every game a modder comes along and changes and everyone uses it. -
When switching a topic from Mods to Anthology, reapply the Accepted tag. It does not carry over from forum to sub forum.

This is probably the worst review that FO4 has received so far: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/11/fallout-4-review-check-your-next-gen-expectations-at-the-vault-door/ I usually value ArsTechnica for most stuff they print. Pretty fair review of the game it's problems. I'm still going to play and mod the crap out of it regardless, but I have to agree that it has it's problems that I noticed just from play for a couple hours last night.

You can probably follow the instructions for the mod by installing it in MO, then from windows explorer go into your MO folder "...\MO\mods\Extended New Vegas Radio Extender\...". Run the .bat files from there and see if they work.

Sorry, I went to bed. Anyways, to use the command line is pretty easy. Version 0002 is already out on the Beth forums too, so try that one out. To extract: Navigate to the folder where extracted the ba2 extractor. Hold Shift and right click, then select "open command window here" type: ba2extract.exe "source" "destination" Example: ba2extract.exe "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Fallout4 - Textures1.ba2" "C:\Games\Fallout 4\Fallout4 - Textures1" Hit Enter.

I've been using these and DB ones for a long time. Great designs and look to the robes. Takes something that is bland and injects some magic into it.- 47 replies
