  1. You may also have to many plugins active. No more than 135.
  2. There should also be a FormID list and a reference to it in the leveled lists. Actually, there is an entire FormID list that needs to be removed.
  3. Depends if you want to get rid of all the guns or just that one. If it's all of them, then remove any of the guns you may have from that move from you or your companions' inventories. Fast travel to a different cell on the other side of the map and go indoors. Then follow the clean save procedure. Just getting rid of that one gun requires you to delete the gun from the plugin in xEdit. Little more tricky, but not really something that is to hard. Or, just don't use that gun and put it in a container you don't care about.
  4. I've noticed that the Liberal Arts people are treated pretty badly compared to the Science/Engineering folks. EE and CS professors are really taken care. Also, geologists are treated very well because they bring in money from oil companies. You biology, archeology, and anthropology guys get it pretty bad though. Kinda left to flap in the wind for all the crazies to berate. I got it pretty good because no cares about math. Math doesn't really have as many religious implications as evolutionary biology. No one having a philosophical debate about what is an isn't real in math. Everything is fake, we made it all up, and it's all still true. Nothing pissing me off more than the "it's just a theory" crowd. "There is a debate among the scientific community", "you're just a paid shill for the space jews that run the world", "NASA is hiding that the Earth is flat and we never went to moon using CGI technology that somehow still doesn't exist in 2015". How the hell did you get my personal email? What the hell are space jews? I don't even work for NASA. The flat earth people have been bothering me for about 5 years now. I don't know what or how they picked me, but I looked into them and it's sooooooooooooo dumb. I'll take them over religious nuts any day though. I'll just continue to hide in my office behind my chalkboards and play Fallout 4, thank you very much. Being an adjunct is brutal depending on where you start and what subject you teach. Basically, you're like TAs with a little more power. Being tenure track is pretty dope though. Do recommend you stick it out. Keep your head down, mouth shut, and just keep grinding. It pays off after about 5 years. Could be worse. We could be replacing you with a robot like doctors, lawyers, or cab drivers.
  5. Aren't you an actual biologist Z?
  6. It will. But now, I don't have to patch it. I just have to copy the patch over.
  7. Nice. That was pretty much the only thing holding me back from recommending this.
  8. Sounds like they need a new security company. Didn't want to admit anything, really vague emails, don't work weekends.
  9. I usually copy all the records over then change all the formIDs and reference IDs manually since the merge script wants to make an new plugin.
  10. Find the directions for the MO settings here in #5: https://wiki.step-project.com/Mod_Organizer#Recommendations MO doesn't delete mods. Not sure how that would happen. You can search for the mod in the downloads tab, make sure the 'show hidden files' checkbox is ticked.
  11. Okay, the MO Potential mod order problem isn't correct for those mods. It's like a false positive. We wouldn't mess with you like that. As for the Bashed Patch. Always leave those plugins unticked. They have been merged into the bashed patch. Leave them in your load order in case you need to redo your Bashed Patch. Orange plugins mean the masters aren't in the order that they are listed in the plugin's header. Most the time it's benign and you can ignore it.
  12. I would have mentioned it on the mod page, but you're the first person to report the problem. The fomod usually names the file appropriately.
  13. There are multiple errors in Skyrim.esm. Leave them alone they don't mess anything up.
  14. Will is the one who made those hotfix files. I didn't even know he did it. I guess I should take care of it or I could go play Fallout 4. Hmmm....
  15. So STEP is mostly built around a mix of 1k-2k textures. 1k for most outdoor stuff and 2k for interiors, armors, and weapons. You're system would be a little higher than what is necessary to run STEP at normal res. I guess the baseline would be a Core i5, 8GB RAM, any mid-range card with 2GB of VRAM.
  16. Just check the name you're installing the mod under and change it if you already have a mod with that name.
  17. Shadow Complex is free all month. https://www.epicgames.com/shadowcomplex/ Awesome game that everyone who is a fan of the old Metroidvania games will enjoy.
  18. I'm having a noticeable performance increase with the new beta patch from yesterday. It's at least a 5FPS boost in the cities and interiors are smooth as silk now.
  19. Leave it alone. It's not a problem the way it is. We've known about it for a while, but it's just reading a false positive.
  20. I have a bug with the quick select stuff. I use a gamepad and when using the d-pad weapon select to change from one thing to another it takes 5 seconds or so to equip the new weapon. In a fire fight when I want to put my rifle away and switch to a shotgun for close range, it's super annoying because there are some enemies that close the gap really fast.
  21. I don't know all the plugins that need it. Someone else added all that stuff in while I was absent from the guide. It's just a good practice to do because it solves so many conflicts.
  22. Yes
  23. Merge them first. You'll be disabling the all the plugins from before the merge so it won't matter if they are tagged.
