pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
hishutup replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I took at a look at the patch and it doesn't work. Its a total mess. You cant patch skyproc patchers, FormIDs change. The only thing I can think of is to teach what records to remove or make a morrowloot pacther Maybe t3ndo will add a patch in the installer or make a morrowloot patcher XD I seriously doubt that it will happen though. EDIT: My patcher might have freaked out... I forgot to add Enai Siaion's mods to the blocklist My current assumption is ASIS/DSR or LO The problem is that it takes while and then errors out. EDIT2: added mod notes to various mods EDIT3: supposedly there is Morrowloot support with the PCaPP... -
pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
hishutup replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
There is a patch that "fixes" that… I think… I don't know I'll take a closer look tomorrow. I'll probably get something in the guide that is usable. I was going to ask for lore weapons, warrior within weapons and ghosus but I guess I'll have to look into patching them if I can figure it out, no biggie. -

I like Save game script cleaner Lets try something... back up the current save open Save game script cleaner in the script box enter ResourceFurnitureScript then delete selected enter MineOreScript and delete selected click fix script instances save load the game and see what happens... EDIT: Oops, double post... -
Mining any node produces firewood

hmm, When I downloaded the save I noticed that it was an autosave... I have found almost all forms of quicksaves and autosaves to be sketchy at best... I dont think it is related but I thought I should mention it. -
Audio Overhaul for Skyrim 2 not working.

hmm, keithinhanoi maybe convert the AOS sound to something else and then convert back.... maybe there is something mismatched in the file that most computers ignore... like variable bitrate... -
DROPPED STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures (by z929669)
hishutup replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Greg, that is exactly what I did but it was pointless in the end because it was the generated LOD image. EDIT: I remember a similar situation here. -
DROPPED STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures (by z929669)
hishutup replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
FOUND IT Exclude textures\terrain\tamriel\objects I would also say do not optimize and of the tamriel folder stuff. I think these are generated and will have issues. now doesn't that look pretty. -

ok... I found the LOD model meshes\LOD\mountains\mountaintrim01_lod_0.nif the supposedly blue texture is snow01lod.dds After removing it, it still exists... I removed the mod once more to verify that it is the optimized textures and removing it fixes the issue. I guess I start hiding stuff till I locate it. -

ok, I left a lot of details out I coc'd to riverwood from teh main menu because I was just going to assess the performance but then I noticed when I walked to whiterun that all of the whiterun buildings looked way worse than normal. As I got closer it looked like corruption so I turned the fov down so I can take a good screenshot. I turn around and observed what else is effected by the optimization and took a few more screens. You asked for the texture and because I didn't have nifskope downloaded and the meshes extracted, I only gave the baseID. To get a base ID I just flew around click everywhere to get an ID. Most of the time all I could get is a cloud. I am assuming that this is because you can't select LODs. At this point I given up looking via in game forms and I just started looking through the textures and the textures looked okay but not very good ingame so... At this point I have run out of ideas on how to fine the LOD. I guess I'll keep looking around. -

hmm, I kept getting sky\* meshes there was one building that came through though. 9C8D3 Architecture\WhiteRun\WRBuildings\WRLODWindowGlow01.nif Theres a lot of corruption as I am flying around. What do you want me to do? List them out as I find them? This is only vanilla+HD+Unofficial patches+Optimized EDIT: I cant seem to select any LOD object... or did you want the regular one... -

I know it is because I just installed it after testing out VRAM in certain locations. I tried out performance version to see if there was any difference. I'll get back to you on which ones... yay, digging for records is going to be fun. *Sarcasm or does MFG give that, I guess ill see soon enough -
I'll take a look at it when I go back to writing the guide. I could care less if the author is a ____ (fill in the blank with a word of your preference). I doubt an author will have any control of what I put in the guide. I'm not hosting any files on my page, other than CCC but that is because I have permission. I can instruct a user to do what ever I please... Its up to the user to make the decision of whether or not to follow through with it. The user has to make this decision by using their better judgement on the instructions that I present. I can tell anyone to commit a murder but its up to a reader to perform the action. I believe the most the author could do is bug everyone and then get banned or take down the site. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I discovered a few oddities. I am not using step but that shouldn't matter because this looks like some sort of corruption. EDIT: (insert pics here because of link rot ) -

Then I have to be doing something wrong. Are you only changing Vanilla leveled lists. What about the new leveled lists? -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
hishutup replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
EssArrBee, for the additional weapons, maybe you should renumber FormIDs to a certain range so that the weapons stay in the inventory. I haven't tried it but maybe it'll work. -

I gave making my own patch a shot and it didn't work out. I'll give you props, it takes an insane amount of time. There also needs to be a significant amount of thought put in on what should stay and what should go. I don't know how a patcher would work though. Maybe keywords… -
DROPPED Lockpicking Interface (by Quazaque)
hishutup replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Maybe it'll be better to search for that mods topic and then suggest that you think it is a better texture. If a topic does not exist for that particar mod then feel free to create one but read the rules first. I agree with you on that it is a better retexture -

Performance and CPU usage
hishutup replied to Penrutet's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
For me Compression cause some wicked stutter, try disabling it. Personally I found that setting ReservedMemorySizeMb and VideoMemorySizeMb fairly low helped me out. Mine are 128 and 4096 respectively. That being said, your results may vary. -

Oops, there was a typo. Stupid phone... GrantSP, does your comment still apply? I agree that there is something odd.
