pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
hishutup replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I tried updated the SR:LE + REGS since it was completely out dated. Take a look at it and let me know of any mistakes -
Hmm, I'll make a post and see if I can answer this but what you wrote is pretty long... when merging ANYTHING, rule #1 is check for errors because they will screw everything up. I know that there is an ETaC patch located on an RS Children patch page that is out of date. I would use the one that is now included in MJB Patches download. yes, you need to completely redo the merge. You can get away with not redoing the merge but there may be issues. The list that you have is correct but there is one small thing that will mess everyone up, you must move any masters out of the group that you are aiming to merge. Which mean make sure that ETaC Complete.esp is above "RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp" rather than being in the middle of the group. RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp Patch - Falskaar - RS kids.esp Patch - Wyrm - RS kids.esp Patch - Etac Complete - RS Kids.esp Patch - Inconsequential NPCs - RS Kids.esp Patch - Interesting NPCs - RS Kids.esp there is actually a guide around here somewhere. I think there are some points that are out of date but it can easily be updated. EDIT: here is the guide... Is there anything that I missed? EDIT 2: I tried to get some of the guide updated but I am not going to do any conflict resolution stuff, sorry.

External link's underline spreading through a space
hishutup replied to hishutup's question in Wiki Support
I dont think I can... In the beginning, I was trying various things to find a good solution on the colored boxes and this is what I had settled on... ===== [[File:Blue_Box.png|20px|link=|bottom]] [<url> <mod name>] ===== so about 3/4 of the guide is in that format. After switching to an image, the TOC garbage has disappeared and now it look have decent. -
happy holidays to all of you STEPers :D

External link's underline spreading through a space
hishutup replied to hishutup's question in Wiki Support
I know its weird because it wasn't there when I was writing it. I don't think I have any open tags anywhere. I doubt I would miss something like that because it is pretty obvious. On the second image, it uses the nonbreaking space, thats why the line is through it. In other words, the second image is not a image it a colored background but the first image that I posted with the black arrow, is in fact an image using the wiki code that I posted above. -
Random crash when casting a magic spell
hishutup replied to Eagleman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
the memory block log that you shared showed that Block1 size is 256 which shouldn't be the case because the memory patch increases it to 512 which reduces crashes almost completely. In other words, you are not using the memory patch because it isn't working. One way that is known to fix it for some people it to add the -forcesteamloader argument. Why? I don't know but it works. Just do what I suggested and try to cause it to crash. I will be surprised if you succeed in causing it to crash -

Can you save a profile to take to a diffrent computer?
hishutup replied to jyujinkai's question in Mod Organizer Support
just take the whole mo installation... Mo is standalone other than the settings that you set, like the executable list, Download Directory, Mod Directory, Cache Directory. -
Random crash when casting a magic spell
hishutup replied to Eagleman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
well, found the problem... the skse memory tweaks are not working or are not existing in the skse.ini. The memory blocks log should be like the following logging of blocks enabled logging max values only Timer disabled Block1 Block2 512MB 256MB replace your skse.ini with the following [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 If it looks like what is posted above then in the Mo executable arguments -forcesteamloader -

Memory blocks log is an skse DLL. There i s no need to rebuild any patch and /or run loot -
Dragon 4k-8k Texture Mod Extracting error + Facelift Overhaul
hishutup replied to Sencho's question in Mod Organizer Support
There's two things going and its getting mixed together. Post #6 is in reference to the image he shared in post #5. I know that is for the facelift mod because I read to mod name. -

I would say open the archive manually and look at the readme to see which version you want/need. -

hishutup replied to Eagleman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
instead of putting the mod list as a block of code can you use spoilers First, lets check the memory stuff Download and install Memory Blocks Log then cause your game to crash (however you want) and then go to the overwrite folder/skse/plugins and share the text that is in the memoryblockslog.log I doubt Im going to see anything on that one but I might as well make sure. You dont need the following plugins because of the STEP patch I think I can also see that you are missing various Meta rules for loot. Did you check to see if you got all of them. -
Dragon 4k-8k Texture Mod Extracting error + Facelift Overhaul
hishutup replied to Sencho's question in Mod Organizer Support
I know that the deadly dragons archive cant be extracted through mo for some reason. Why? I dont know... So, just do it manually and its all good. I have not idea what facelift is because I have never used it you say there is not game data on top but that is half the story. What is the folder that is currently on top? -
External link's underline spreading through a space
hishutup replied to hishutup's question in Wiki Support
Oops, Ill explain the link thing later but here is the new one. This is the underline. My first thought was that it is in the css but there nothing in the h5{} section. Unless there is another section that is bleeding over, which I doubt. There one one time that the line continued on the through the image but that underline wasn't originally there because it looks terrible. The image is a different deal but I cant get it to scale... Is there a way to use parser function or simple math to get the size because the image needs to be reduced by ~100px from the monitor width because of the space on the left side? I know DoubleYou gave it a shot but couldn't get it to work. EDIT: This is obviously wrong and it never used to be like that... -

hishutup replied to jyujinkai's question in Mod Organizer Support
Make sure you click the backup mod list or whatever or you are going to have to reorder everything -
oh, I did not see that until I lowered the resolution. Maybe, I'll request him to make it tile-able... Even I can make those edits and I dont do any sort of texture work

DROPPED Ars Metallica - Smithing Enhancement (by Arthmoor)
hishutup replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
It was replaced with CCOR because it reduces plugins and whatnot -
Greg, I wrote mythic dawn... I have been through that effort. Its not that bad if you have a bunch of macro buttons on your keyboard.
-
I was thinking add it to core because it helps people understand what their memory is doing.
-
I want to push this again... I would like to see this included in the next release of STEP. Is there any reason not to include it?

Mysterious fog... Everywhere.
hishutup replied to TheBlackSunshine's question in General Skyrim LE Support
really... Because I doubt that its a mod that is currently installed... I was asking if he already had them because I forget what meshes they touch and fix. Since, I think its a not a mod or lack there of, do what everyone is suggesting, remove the dll and test
