  5. I've gone through the mod list and marked the mods that are known to not be working, at the time of this post, with red bars on their mod tables. Most of the mods listed with green bars are a bit of an unknown right now. There are still quite a few mods that need updating before the Guide can be used again.
  6. I wouldn't have an issue with this mod. A lot of games come with a catalog of sorts for the discoveries and things you've encountered. My one and only issue is any of these catalog-type features has and always will be "knowing" everything there is to know about an entry upon a single encounter. Knowing these details for common animals like skeevers and wolfs would be fine. However, knowing such details about uncommon animals such as atronach, dragons, trolls, etc should take more than one encounter or further study; like reading one of the troll books in the game could provide this knowledge or killing at least 3, etc. This is really just a nitpick for realism, though.
  7. A preliminary version of the main tool, MBINCompiler, has been released. It should cover what I need for checking the Guide's Resource Files, so I will get to check for issues over the next week.
  8. The NMS 5.0 Worlds update is a massive update that will likely effect a lot of mods. As such, I've put a warning up on the current Guide that it's outdated. I will be investigating everything once the tools are updated, per usual. It may be that some mods are dropped for being outdated or no longer required with the new, massive gameplay and visual update that is 5.0 and the same will likely be true for the future "Worlds" updates. BPG will, for sure, not work with the update! For those unaware, NMS 5.0 Worlds is likely to be released in 3 parts. The first was released today on all platforms. HelloGames is backporting the development they've done for their upcoming game, Light No Fire, to No Man's Sky. Today's update comes with overhauled atmosphere rendering that includes improvements to clouds, weathers, and colors. New water rendering is provided that makes the water look realistic with true wave and foam generation, responses to weather changes, better reflections, and greater color variety for the water, as well as, ships now being able to land on water with new tech that is included. Other updates included: DLSS3 support improved LODs new creatures and hybrids greater planetary diversity and variety reduced memory and bandwidth usage memory, performance, and terrain generation optimizations planetary objects are now rendered by the GPU rather than the CPU reworked shadows to use the screenspace for better accuracy and detail many bug fixes, UI updates, and QoL updates, and much more
  9. I agree. Seems like a no-brainer.

  11. Greg shows you how to see what is missing. To fix these two you'll need to install the Guide's Conflict Resolution patch (found in the Patches table) and the Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Patch (found within the Foundation table). As Greg mentioned, the Guide requires Anniversary Edition, which is outlined in the notice box at the top of the Guide. If that content is missing you'll won't be able to run the Guide.
  12. Honestly, that kinda sounds like the behavior of a missing master. Any of the plugins listed in MO have red warning icons? If it were a SKSE DLL, SKSE usually pops up a windows that warns when one of the plugins isn't working or patched for the latest version. However, I say this having not launched with the full Step Guide since the game update; no clue if all the mods have been updated to the latest game version.
  13. It may be a bit before staff can get around to it, but our members are pretty good with feedback on mods we're considering for a Guide. If you are the author of this mod, can you please contact me on Nexus via the 'sasnikol' account? We have a "Mod Author" badge that we can give you. This is our way of verify author identities. You can find my Nexus page to send me a message in my signature, below.
  14. Just grab the other two mods for it that are in the forum marked for testing too. Any patching will be handled by the Step Patches, eventually and if accepted. I haven't looked at the plugins so I can not comment on anything that may need to be patched out.
  15. It won't cause any issues. That file was simply not included. AMUMSS updated so it should be fixed now.
  16. Discussion topic: NPCs Learn to Aim by sasnikol Wiki Link NPCs aiming with ranged weapons (spells/staves included) are based on their skill level vs always aiming with 100% accuracy. This means ranged weapons from NPCs will randomly travel within a circumference of the target, slowly becoming more accurate with higher NPCs skill levels. The mod can also be activated on the player, as well. Tech: I've added a testing tag, not official, to remember to discuss this one. Personally, I like the premise of the mod and believe it makes sense; aligning to what one would expect from real training and skill levels. However, does it translate well for balanced and fun gameplay in Skyrim? That's probably the biggest question to answer.
  17. Added to testing since Moon and Star have been added.

  19. I've added this one to official testing since it seems to have some interest. The idea will be to replace Oakwood with it.
  20. That is related to an AMUMSS issue, from my understanding. The Hologram file is from Relight and the author knows about it. The StepNMS file being listed is merely because it's the last script that ran before the error was produced at the end. That's another issue within AMUMSS, since there is actually nothing wrong with that file. It's listing is a bit of a false-positive.
