  1. A) Be sure ENBoost is detecting the correct card on startup and not using your Intel integrated graphics. B) Ensure SKSE memory patch is set up and working C) Try these memory settings: [MEMORY] ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 VideoMemorySizeMb=8192 EnableCompression=true AutodetectVideoMemorySize=falseYou want ReservedMemorySizeMb to be as low as possible and I've never seen anyone need to run it at 1024. You also want EnableCompression to be set to true if at all possible. This will reduce memory usage. There are two things I like to know: What texture resolutions are you using? What is your graphics card?
  2. Yeah, without ENB I get mainly 60FPS.
  3. You can use Skyrim Performance Monitor to monitor your system during game time to help you determine your issues, if hardware related.
  4. Here are the links I promised: https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/3676-skyrim-information-baked-into-saves/ https://www.wolflore.net/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=2156
  5. I don't see any reason why not either. I've been using it since we created it without issue.
  6. Update directX. Restart computer. Try again.
  7. I was actually referring to the STEP Optimized Textures and yes, I was talking about the memory settings within enblocal.ini. You might be able to set them lower, change compression to on or off, etc that would smooth out your system a bit. This can be a bit system specific and what we recommend is just a general consensus of the average settings for more users. Mine are actually set a bit lower without any issue.
  8. I agree that after the UPs is the best place because sometimes the fixes mods also include textures. That were I have mine placed already. I would also suggest only updating the optimized textures every two to three releases to account for new mods added, else the maintenance would be a bit much just for a few textures.
  9. It doesn't do much, but does what it should. I personal like it add it helps me keep up with the factions I'm currently aligned with.
  10. Ensure that you've tested and experimented to find the best memory settings for ENBoost fit your system. This is essential before much troubleshooting can be done. Also install the STEP optimized textures from our Nexus page. This will ensure all vanilla textures are optimized without you having to mess around with DDSopt.
  11. Do you have better bards installed that shortens the length between lines? If so, thus is a bug with that mod. It shortens the global line pause or something in the game which effects the entire game. Not just the bards.
  12. BSAs shouldn't be an issue anymore. As for face tints, those are baked into saves and most often require a new game to correct. There's a good article I can post about it later. Not at my computer atm.
  13. Vividian mountain fog texture hides the majority of this issue. Be sure you install it during the fomod installation
  14. Place it at the top of your list. I have mine below the USPs. It shouldn't conflict with anything in STEP.
  15. So there are two types of candles; tallow (animal fat) and bees wax. The tallow candles were less expensive and used by the more common folk, smoked, and often came with a bad odor. The bees wax were more expensive, used mainly but churches and nobility, but came with no odor and very little smoke.
  16. Actually...I've googled and researched it. Torches do smoke but it's mainly dependent on the accelerant. I have yet to research whether or not the old style candles (mainly made from bee's wax) smoked or not.
  17. Yes, I don't think you can use the two together. CoT is a nightmare with a large mod list though because it conflicts with everything.
  18. v1.2.18
  19. Vividian overhauls all weathers. Vividian is, in fact, one of the most complete ENBs available. I think Skylight does as well, but not positive. Any ENB will be compatible with STEP.
  20. I no particular order, Here is the list on the ENB Guide: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#Recommended_ENB_Presets Also Serenity and ELEP that aren't on that list are very good.
  21. I don't like the eyes. Those look totally fake... Texture is great though. There is a no-glow option so we would use that.
  22. I too recommend for Core but leave out the forges. Those don't look well.
  23. I like all of the meshes besides Dibella and Mara (those are altered too much...I think the author likes big breasts. Nocturnal fits into this as well but the alteration is more pleasant) and there is very little to no stretching with the new meshes. I personally don't care for any of the textures besides Boethiah, Talos, Clavius Vile, and Skyforge. Nocturnal texture would probably be okay...hard to tell because of the change in lighting. (i think SRB is a but rusty...haha!)
