  1. Can you post a picture of your skyrim directory?
  2. I'm sure it will probably have some conflicts that will need to be resolved.
  3. I can probably add more to them, but they are fairly self explanatory....so I thought.
  4. That is Z's comment that will be deleted or incorporated into the text. I don't really know why he put it there as a comment.
  5. Z set all that up so deferring to him is a good idea.
  6. Ah, that was Z's mistake. It should be how the mod page has it worded since "STEP Vanilla Optimized Textures" doesn't make much sense. I've corrected the Nexus page.
  7. That is very possible. I've downloaded the mod, just having done anything with it yet. It would seem I have a lot of tasks to do this weekend.
  8. Ah, I see what you mean, but then their really should be more than say 5-6 tags per mod: (skyrim, fnv, etc) category author name 2-3 descriptive tags (landscape, rocks, tree, farmhouse, hair, body, etc) I don't see any reason for more than 9 tags.
  9. No, a simple option to install the STEP recommendations will only take 15mins to code.
  10. And that is what user have to do. Different setups and system components will require different settings for ENBoost. It's a trial and error process through testing.
  11. Yeah, I was referring to that one mod of his. No updates since Sept 2014. Judging from the comments, many users are anxiously awaiting the female textures.
  12. You would be correct but also in combination with SRO which overwrites much of SHD. I've had my eye on 3.0. Just waiting for that 1K version to come along.
  13. Disabling the compression wouldn't alter the FPS. However, you might see some increase in memory useage. The setting is one that is going to be different for everyone. As it's been stated many times, individual testing is required for ENBoost. No two systems will handle it exactly the same so only recommendations can be presented and then users must test for themselves from that point. I too have 4GB of VRAM and 8GB of system RAM. With compression enabled, I have no issues whatsoever. It could be possible that other parameters are set incorrectly which is causing the instability with compression. Testing is required. Here are my [MEMORY] setting for reference: [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=false DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 VideoMemorySizeMb=8192 EnableCompression=true AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false
  14. Shouldn't be any reason to overclock your CPU.
  15. They look blurry...which is common with CaBaL's landscape textures. If they don't look like that in-game, it'll have to be something that is tried out in-game.
  16. I'm sure there is a reason but it's been so long I can't remember. EDT only overwrites one file from EDT2 though so only EDT2 and Quality World Map have actual conflicts.
  17. Since we have full access to the mod, I'll probably be adding a "STEP Installation" option into the FOMOD that will install all of the STEP mods in two steps rather than having our users go through the entire process. Simplicity!
  18. It is referring to normal tags. Not prefix tags.
  19. This is a new addition and as far as I know isn't referenced in any guides yet.
  20. Seeing that two Release Coordinators say yes as well as many others, consider it done. Accepted for v2.2.9.1
  21. I don't have this issue with the Vanilla version. Have you tested that to see if it persists in that version as well?
  22. Sorry, been super busy with work, but I should be able to test some more this weekend.
  23. The author has stated that seams are a known issue with this mod. Good reason why it wouldn't be considered for STEP, as least until that issue is fixed. I've been awaiting female textures from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58443/? but the author isn't very active so who knows when those will be coming.
  24. I'm thinking this issue is more isolated to user system as this has not been reported as a major issue on the ENB Dev threads, nor is it a "majority" issue where a lot of users are experiencing it. Seems to be isolated to a few user's systems. I would start by defaulting the INIs and checking the issue on a new vanilla save (that part is important bc if the issue is "baked" into a save then we'll never be able to solve this). After testing that and if it doesn't resolve the issue, the next step would be to default all the graphic driver settings and again, test on a new vanilla save. Third step, if not resolved, would be to disable SLI and test on a new vanilla save. Those are my three major recommendations. Even if you've done them before, if you didn't do it with a new vanilla game, try them again.
  25. Version 1.93e is the currently recommended version because it is the one that is compatible with STEP. Groovtama's XPMS Extended is for mods that we don't currently support.
