  1. All this guide does is enhance the graphics. I didn't include any mods that required TexMod because of how unstable it is.
  2. You have to edit the INI for your profile in MO. But if you where already running that low a resolution and having that many performance issues, then it's time to upgrade.
  3. Well, I'm not the guru on this kind of stuff so unless the STEP Staff step in, I'm left almost as clueless as some of you guys.
  4. I have them hidden which is why I've not noticed until now. There will need to be a compare but for now, since we've only tested the textures from The Ruffled Feather, I'm going to instruct to hide the textures in the other mod.
  5. Discussion thread: Tech Enhanced - Mass Effect by TechAngel85 This is just a simple guide to enhance the graphics of Mass Effect (the first game). I have planned for guides for the other games as well; however, I have no idea when I'll be able to complete them. For now, please enjoy this guide!
  6. Nope. Just verified with a fresh download. Did you download the right version?
  7. Until we compare the textures everything for this in the Guide is correct.
  8. Okay, so we have it right. Thanks kryptopyr!
  9. I'm at work. Does the LOOT rule on the mod page have then in the correct order?
  10. If you're running a Bashed Patch as you should be, these two plugins are integrated into it. You shouldn't need them active in your load order.
  11. You just don't have the horsepower to run ENB presets unless you drop your screen resolution. When I had my laptop, I had to drop mine to 1366x768 just to run a preset.
  12. Pretendeavor is correct on both points.
  13. That's most likely Better Shaped Weapons. Make sure it's installed correctly and nothing is overwriting it.
  14. Nope, refresh your browser for that mod page. It's been updated to download an optional file which installs the new ESP for the leveled list.
  15. You're only interested in the mountain fog textures. They covers up the z-fighting really well. Just uses those textures and you'll be fine.
  16. I was getting crashes using the Beta in Windows 10 while doing that testing...which I still need to finish. Haven't tried it with Windows 7.
  17. Try this; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59809/?
  18. Right-click on your desktop and open the Nvidia Control Panel. Click on "System Information" in the bottom left corner of the window. In the left pane, click on your graphics card. In the right pane look for Total available graphics memory".
  19. No need to. Changes the size of the LOD. 256 is "higher quality" than 128
  20. If I could start the game without clothing I would. But if it's a rendering issue then it would still crash on me anyway. Doesn't the armor replace the body mesh since the body is "built into" the armor? I'll at least look into it. I'm clueless about most mesh stuff but need to learn.
  21. OCD comes to mind. Haha! But seriously, I didn't know that it was smart enough to do all that. I'll remove those lines.
  22. Taking up no plugin slot! ...well, besides the Bashed Patch itself.
  23. So what seems to be the problem with them?
