@ Kuldebar: great linked explanation, I'm gonna take a look at my settings when I get back to the PC and check to see if I've created a bottleneck by overthinking the ENB FPS limiter and vsync (wow, iPhone had some creative autocorrects for that) settings in the Nvidia control panel.

There is a thread here in the Mods forum titled Memory Patch 3.0 that goes into the subject in great detail with empirical results and instructions on how to check just how large your individual memory blocks are running so you can fine tune those numbers. Short answer 768/256 entered into you SKSE.ini seems to work best for most SKSE 1.7.x users.

Nice suggestion, I was using manual reload, this sounds like an interesting compilation/merger. -

I'm not playing a Necromancer at the moment and I haven't used Undeath before so I don't have any insight there. Edit: the Undeath mod sounds both interesting and problematic (author unavailable due to final year at Uni per Oct 2013 note). I saw several reports of issues, console command to leave area being the "best" solution, etc. As far as conflicts with MM, couldn't load both into TES5Edit and see what conflicts appear? That would give you a quick idea, although the quest related stuff conflicting with other REGS items might be harder to sus out. -
SKYRIMLE Funtional Bags - BralorMarr
redirishlord replied to hyperionEXILEd's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
First impressions; nice evolution to Bandoliers Bags and Pouches. It apears to use the BB&P assets, but instead of simple +(some amount)lbs added carrying capacity the various items reduce the weight of their specified contents (ore bag: ore & ingots, trinket bag: jewelry, vial holder: potions, etc.) by 20% for your general inventory & an additional 20% for items stored in the bag (or other container). The containers are integrated with MCM, so once I made an apothecary's satchel and wore it (rendered left belt location, visible with iron armor although the carry strap clipped under the upper breastplate in a sufficiently immersive way) it appeared in the Functional Bags MCM. MCM integration allows for items to be transferred to the bag, which I will use when packing items for sale upon return to town or storage upon returning home since it isn't particularly immersive to dive into the MCM during "action". Meaning my Berserker potions will stay in general inventory for use when I go all "Tenser" on a foo' but my Potion of Strength will get stored in the bag with intent to sell at Belethor's. -

I just added Mighty Magic to my line up (took me long enough) after reading an article about playing a mage character and general magic discussion (plus mod link roubndup) by Kelmych. First impressions: love the new Candlelight functionality so much i dropped Wearable Lanterns from my line up (had been having some broken functionality with the mod, lanterns still rendering after removal from inventory). I successfully added the Mighty Magic plugins to my SPO / ACE / SSR merge, although I notice an inconsistency in my Smithing Perk tree (ACE Smithing vs SPO conflict?), so I need to dig deeper than a scripted error check to see what's up (& make sure ACE Smithing wins the conflict as I prefer its tree). I looked inTES5Edit and it appears ACE Smithing wins the conflicts with SPO before merging, no errors after (although I do need to renumber FormIDs to avoid errors). I'm not sure why I was seeing an inconsistent Basic Smithing perk in my otherwise "as expected" ACE Smithing tree, I'll take another in game. -
Yes, ENBoost is referring to a stripped down version of ENB for memory management. You've got the full version and Aiyen's direction, that supersedes the basic STEP instructions.

Its the vanilla adult clothing altered to suit children (ex the quilted fine cloths become a quilted vest over a full length dress for well to do girls). -

SKYRIMLE Already searched - Open container (by towawot)
redirishlord replied to statmonster's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I thought the container staying open was a feature, not a bug. I see you're correct, the animation is playing twice, but I love the opened containers letting me know what I've searched. The description page is pretty sparse, shame there's no comments thread for it on the Nexus, I'm wondering if we should expect an update. -

Recent updates; Gamwich has released a lore friendly clothing line, "Making children versions of the adult outfits to keep with Skyrim look and feel", available on the Prince and Pauper mod page. You will also find patches for PNP & RS Children, plus PNP / RS Children and various other mods. -

Re- Northern Cardinal: Good to know what the possible conflicts are. Sounds like I can replace REGS Cities & REGS CRF patch (CRF patch having REGS Cities as a dependency), as Better Docks doesn't edit the navmeshes, with individual installs of Windhelm Lighthouse and Skyrim Sewers (there is a "no vanilla edits" esp replacer & a new 4.12 version). Additionally, without the Nernies conflict I will be able to try Manny's new Bookseller. -

SKYRIMLE Loot and Degradation (by isoku)
redirishlord replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I missed that in the description. Have you noticed if the loot and merchant available items come with varying degrees of tempering? According to the description they should. If so, I guess the vanilla baseline is the new dull & worn and properly maintained gear will be some degree of tempered. -
SKYRIMLE Loot and Degradation (by isoku)
redirishlord replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This sounds great, I'm looking forward to trying it out. Re- iNeeds and the like, I prefer to leave hardcore survival in the Fallout Wasteland myself, but having weapon condition return and giving me an excuse for practical smithing - sign me up! I do love Wet & Cold (without the burden of Frostfall's scripting), and the Holidays are fun & immersive - a must have. -
I picked up on your intent, but I thought my controller observations were agnostic (re- game of choice). The HOTAS/Joystick offers enhanced immersion/realism, but the speedpad/trackball seems to be both accessible and precise. I would suggest reviewing user submitted reviews (especially if such are available on an Elite:Dangerous forum) as it seems you get what you pay for with controllers.

I think I saw a documentary on that project, the one where you fill the enemy's house with popcorn kernels and tin foil ignite it with the aircraft based laser?

Why are lockpicks so hard to find?
redirishlord replied to peppergomez's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I regularly find lockpicks at the Riverwood Trader and Belethor's, and that's with Stealth Skills Rebalanced by Kryptopyr installed (which makes them more rare). BTW SSR allows crafting of lockpicks (with the appropriate perk from the Lockpicking skill tree). -
Refraining as I'm on the other side of that debate ;-) I am glad to see that the genre is receiving much needed attention, and that the classics are making a comeback. I am curious to see the discussion of Elite's various attributes, so I'll stay tuned. Re- control systems, I picked up a Saitek X52 HOTAS for another game. Its seems to be quite good value; well made, ergonomically comfortable and very programmable. I also use a Razer Nostromo speedpad with a Trackball mouse to simulate mouse and keyboard control set and the combination is also very programmable (software sees a keyboard not a gamepad, although with a thumbstick for W/A/S/D movement and the thumb driven trackball it feels a lot like an xbox controller split and placed on the desk), its also how I play Skyrim/FNV.

GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
redirishlord replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
The game certainly alludes to plenty of depravity, and the genre is supposed to be dark and horrifying, just seems Beth went light on their in game treatment. Well, light in some regards, combat can involve dismemberment and flying gibs. F03 was classic with the pneumatic fist weapon scattering ghoul eyeballs and jawbones far and wide. -
Outstanding work, and thorough review with great screenshots, many thanks.

IMO hateful comments don't have a place here. If you don't care for something a simple "I prefer the vanilla style" would suffice, better yet constructively criticize. A shared mod is a gift, if you can't use it you can still be grateful. As for sometimes harsh criticism of the games paid designers, I pay them to take that.

I have never witnessed such an occurrence, we can only assume the rapture is coming to your Tamriel and the pious will soon be taken to Aetherius. Or you have some very weird script sorcery going on.
