  1. I'm afraid I prefer the STEP (SRO).
  2. I say take the better rubble and don't sweat the moss, AMB Forts +1.
  3. I just use Victor's Shack until I move into the schoolhouse, Afterschool Special ftw. Lose the GS Shack.
  4. I'm not a SR:LE kid, does that involve Skyrim Distance Overhaul? I've found that to be problematic in the Morthal swamp region (I switched to ugrids 7 and have no problems, but I don't recommend throwing that change into the mix until everything else is sorted). Re- your enblocal, your values; ReservedMemorySizeMb=256, VideoMemorySizeMb=2560 seem low. I would suggest enabling autodetect, or increasing those values depending on your hardware. >> (ninja'd by SRB) FWIW, I use the new binary & Serenity without issue. I've got a NVidia GTX 670 2GB & have ReservedMemorySizeMb=512, VideoMemorySizeMb=10240 which has been stable with SKSE 1.7 alpah's memory patch features.
  5. @ SRB: Wait, are you saying solitary imbibing is a bad thing? I looked at it as reducing distraction to better appreciate the spice notes and long finish. @ VonDoom: he doesn't rad-away, low doses just build immunities (like I used to tell my ex. oops now we're back to that video again).
  6. Love bullet time, but got burned out on VATS in FO3, I prefer the more fps feel of FNV (iron sights fo life, yo?). The bullet time in CC&C menu reminds me of the old Space Hulk (WH40k on old consoles) game that had a pause time bar that was depleted while you queued up orders for your squad. I might have to try that, glad you mentioned it.
  7. FWIW: my Mod Organizer doesn't show the new WAF overwriting any GDO assets, I believe you (we) should still have GDO followed by WAF in install/load order (although the GDO-WAF patch is no longer needed if the order is correct). Additionally I believe the ICF Legendary esp is no longer needed, although MO doesn't show the Improved Closefaced Helmets meshes being overwritten so those are probably still needed.
  8. Thanks for that tip, good to know. I really need to find the time to get back to FNV. I had it installed through Wrye, I need to migrate my mod archive to MO and get that sorted. Glad SRB has detailed instructions, I'll appreciate that when it comes to navigating the UI install process & MO's unique idiosyncrasies.
  9. 6 companions is impressive (performance wise), you say it's stable with half that number?
  10. Did you stop by Portland Tactical while we were open? That video really takes me back, if it was real people shooting plastic at each. The picture I posted is of KWA and other professional grade airsoft training weapons that we used for military & law enforcement training classes, as well as civilian recreation evenings & weekends, in our 22,000 sq ft warehouse space. I got to build a mock city block, good times.
  11. Maybe you can offer WilliamImm some penguin related swag? ;-) @ Muladhara86: I don't use FAtT, so I don't have any intel on that, in fact I'm pretty lite on my REGS install (I went easy on the buffet). With the number of ETaC homes, and this really cool remodel of the vanilla homes (all in one esp), plus Aemer's Refuge & the Druid's Den I felt I could go without Perseid's RRR (and compatibilities for that, and of course that allows for ETaC complete WITH Inns). tl;dr I posted my merge results in case others are wondering what plays nice, remember to exit TES5Edit and re-launch to get a proper error check (if you run its error check before save & exit it misses stuff, lots of stuff, credit to Double You for that tip).
  12. The Arena Commander dogfighting alpha module Is released, was my point. You could be playing it now.
  13. I think I had trouble with that too, so I just manually installed my AV & Dual Sheath Skyproc & FNIS for Users (outside of MO) directly to my skyrimdata folder and then set them up in MO's executable menu. I'm sure there's a "better" way to do that, but late in the patience isn't one of my virtues so I just went wit the quick & dirty method.
  14. It's possible the original archive doesn't fit an MO compatible file structure? Or maybe it's referring to unpacking, editing SKSE.ini, repacking and installing through MO. Jus tplow ahead, if MO doesn't like the 7z file it will say so during install and give you chance to move files around in a pop up window.
  15. I'm at a loss, I can't run REGS Cities without losing the ground beneath Pelagia Farm. Any chance I can get a crash course in how to find the conflict? I'm 8 hours into sussing this out and can't find the problem, my only working solution so far has been to disable REGS Cities, CRF Patch & Resources. Update: I got it sorted, difficult because (I think) Skyrim was holding onto the bad navmesh data despite my MO tweaking and even starting a new game (unfortunately without shutting own Skyrim) to get a clean Whiterun. Long story short, once I restarted the pc, cleaned up my load order and launched a save from before venturing to the poorly merged Whiterun, the gods were in their kingdom and all was right with Tamriel. FYI, these REGS related esp files seem to merge fine; I left the fixed Dagger Alley, Dawn of Windhelm, Raven Rock as the contain repaired navmeshes, and of course REGS Cities + CRF patch as previously discussed. Yes this merge is new and improved, now with more TPOS.
  16. Is Skywind ready yet ;-)
  17. I hear what you are saying, and I know I'm off topic, but I'm gonna go one more step before the ref calls me on it. The first playable alpha dogfighting module (single seat fighters) is out now, there's two more upgrades to go (crewed ships and capital ships), then the fps/boarding module, the beta version of the persistent universe, the single player campaign released in chapters to backers (one time fee, as little as $30 usd gets you the whole game) and finally ... launch! tl;dr watch dogfighting video here or the original (and amusing) release here * admin feel free to send this to comment to cheap game thread
  18. Even the best plans aren't certain after first contact with the enemy, or something like that. Props to TX for the small batch movement, quality over quantity (goes for consumption too, especially when riding after). You might message Tannin on whether Nitpick functions apply to FNV thru MO as well. Project Brazil sounded interesting, but I would want to have my way with modded FNV before heading off to a new environment. TTW sounds interesting, but I'm stuck on Skyrim at the moment and StarCitizen only going to demand more (& more) of my gaming time allowance (if you haven't checked out the Arena Commander demo video you owe yourself, seriously, you'll want to back & DL the playable module after). Scrambled thoughts, Order up!
  19. Outstanding, I'll keep AG merged, but will free the REGS CRF patch. I also use UG&G with its new clipping fixer, IIRC that contains mesh edits in/around Whiterun so maybe that's a possible conflict in the mix as well. I'll do some activate / deactivate trial & error (it's easy with MO) if re-merging and making my REGS CRF free-range doesn't do the trick.
  20. @ CJ3211 or anyone in the know, I tore some holes in my Whiterun, specifically the farms to the south. It may be because I merged the REGS CRF patch, I think its to far west for the Apple Garden but I merged that too. Any thoughts on what would leave me without some triangular patches in those fields, it was amusing kiting a young tundra troll into one but I think I've lost farmers and / or companions when I wasn't looking.
  21. Whoa Tea-mo-sabe, I grabbed the Solsteim extra levels, but that's as far as I went. The forum comments on the two dungeon packs gave me pause as well, and I gotta see me some ETaC Morthal wall before I consider dropping a house into my swamp.
  22. Not ignore ENBoost, its already included in ENB presets, you can replace it with a full ENB. Its an upgrade. For your SKSE.ini consider; [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1[Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 This improves memory management (thank you sheson), for more on this see the Memory Patch 3.0 thread. You can set the following in your enblocal.ini [WINDOW]ForceBorderless=trueForceBorderlessFullscreen=true & [LIMITER]WaitBusyRenderer=falseEnableFPSLimit=trueFPSLimit=60.0 The Window settings replace Double Cursor Fix/One Tweak. The Limiter settings cap your fps at 60 for better stability / havlok storm prevention.
  23. I recommend something from the Balvenie for your single malt sipping pleasure, if you see a bottle of their Portwood I'll ride down and we'll slay thing together. Mmm, Portwood, that's a tasty drop.
