  1. That's not what merged patch is. It's called merged patch for a reason. It's supposed to resolve conflicts that bashed patch doesn't, in other words records that are not levelled items. Personally, I don't use it. I did it at some point, but the result wasn't very convincing (in my particular case) - only a few records I'd really want merged/forwarded/whatever, and I had to spend fairly long time deleting everything else (a LOT of stuff was merged together).
  2. I've just noticed this post in the comments: "What's wrong? Can't stand the sight of a strong Nord Cheese?" "Favour the Bow eh? I'm a Cabbage man, myself" "Then by my right as Jarl, I name you Cabbage of Falkreath. Congratulations" "May your road lead you to warm Cheese" "So you're the new member of the Companions? So you, what? Fetch the Cabbage?" "Come to chat with an old Cabbage, hmm? Do your good deed for the day?" "Fall to me, Cabbage!" Some people are just too creative
  3. Is anyone using this? Is it safe enough to use on regular games?
  4. Sure I can do that, but I thought it might be better to have them in the same style. I'll see what you'll come up with in future. So far I mostly like it.
  5. If you could do something about the sky colour, it would be nice. Also I am using the night level 1 plugin, and that obviously doesn't work too well with your version of the patch. https://www.mediafire.com/view/84p4opnr1obni9l/cot_night.jpg https://www.mediafire.com/view/wovxw8n1o5v8dga/cot_vivclouds_night.jpg
  6. Discussion thread: RUSTIC SOULGEMS by Gamwich and Saerileth Wiki Link RUSTIC SOULGEMS features hi-res textures and modified meshes. The soulgems now have transparency and a subtle animated color-shifting effect. Each soulgem has it's own diffuse texture, rather than sharing textures as in the default version. Normal maps are still shared to keep the file size down. The soulgem holder has been retextured as well. 2K and 1K versions are available. I want to use this SO MUCH, but I'm afraid I am too used to the colour variety between empty and filled and sorting that Soul Gems Differ offers. That's probably not very likely to happen here though, because Gamwitch stated "I'm not an ESP maker... just a texture guy. I leave those things for others."
  7. I've just downloaded the new version and am a bit unsure about the patch. With the one weather id I know about, there is a clear improvement, but at the same time it desaturates the sky a lot, and I don't like that very much. Manga, can you give me a few other weather ids (like 2-3) to check please?
  8. I think the unofficial patches will turn into all in one some time this year. At least I hope they will.
  9. This only applies to the cases specific to the HF homes though, not universally to any display cases, right?
  10. Is CCOR going to get an update as well now that the other mods were updated?
  11. True Storms - Thunder and Rain Redone This might be a revolution. DESCRIPTION Fixes the vanilla "thunder loop" problem! (see below)Adds 20 new thunder sounds and new method for TRUE unpredictable/random playbackAdds 3 new ambient rain sounds of varying intensityAdds all-new rain textures, and new rain/snow particle effects for heavy density and realismOptional plugin for vanilla weather with dark nightsOptional plugin for diverse weathers (spreads all weathers across all regions)Compatible with vanilla, Pure Weather, Natural Lighting and Atmospherics (CoT on the way)!THIS MOD IS 100% SCRIPT-FREE AND COMPLETELY SAFE TO ADD/REMOVE AT ANY TIME.The vanilla game has an annoying problem where upon loading a rainy weather, it will select a single thunder sound from the available group, and continue to play that ONE sound only until the weather changes. A number of people have suffered from this "thunder loop" problem, and I decided to do something about it. I did extensive testing and found a workaround that allows TRUE random playback of thunder. No scripts or other trickery involved! This mod improved the 8 vanilla sounds, then adds 20 all-new, intense, high quality thunder sounds to the game, all which will trigger at random. Sometimes over top of each other. Sometimes it will stay quiet for a minute or two, sometimes it will RAGE. It's completely unpredictable! STORMS NOW FEEL SCARY, AND EXTREMELY IMMERSIVE! (even though I hate to use that word!)
  12. I see there is a new esp in this version... Apparently the true weapons part was moved to standalone plugin this time?
  13. Krypto, what's the status of the mod? Are you getting anywhere close to release of the all in one version? The Dragonborn addon has been in beta for a few months...
  14. From my experience, singleplayer is horrible (and it makes perfect sense, it's there as a kind of byproduct or something) and you're not really supposed to buy the game(s) for it. Sure it's your money, but it's like grabbing Tour de France bike to do cross-country. Yes large amounts of players are good, and much better than you. It's something you have to accept. It's pretty frustrating in the first maybe 20 hours of gameplay until you start to get the hang of it. I am an extremely bad player myself. I've played the game (BF4, but I played BF3 as well) for 260 hours, my K/D is still not even 0,8 and my stats are just terrible. I wanted to play though, so I had to accept the fact I can never be good at the game, and have as much fun as I can within the limitations. Also, the best you can do is play with some friends, because while most players seem (or actually are) better than you, they are hopelessly retarded and there is no teamplay whatsoever, and that's what frustrates me much more than having lame hands (at this point after some time played). I only played the singleplayer to unlock campaing-specific guns and I hated every second of it.
  15. Hardline doesn't look like anything more than a mod for BF4, and as such, the graphics are pretty crappy. You'd think the graphics would be at least just as good as BF4, especially considering the ridiculous hardware requirements and the fact that the game is 2 years newer, but no. And so do the animations. Same engine and I am sure a lot more than just that. That's one hell of a lousy job to me. But hey, keep the negative rep coming, having an opinion is clearly an offence.
  16. This is probably the sh*ttiest game from the entire franchise. I don't understand how can they ask money for this junk. The first beta looked horrible, and the next one was just as bad. I watched some streams on Twitch the day it was released and I was like what the hell? This is the state of the game shortly before release? It's basically lousy Battlefield 4 ripoff - extremely lousy graphics, subpar animations, stupid setting (allright that's a personal taste). Most people were also saying it gets old extremely quickly, which wouldn't surprise me. It's a kind of interesting concept, but in the end probably a big fail. But I am sure loads of people will buy it simply because it's from the Battlefield series. I am sticking with BF4 (just have to wait for a patch to patch the latest patch that broke just as much as it fixed ).
  17. Sparrow, why did you remove the 2k version of Stalhrim from the mod? (and can I just use the apparently updated meshes from the new mod with the old 2k textures?)
  18. Does anyone know what are the differences between this and Acquisive Soul Gems? The author of the latter says his mod has more features, even though I cannot imagine what those might be.
  19. I've been using XPMSE for a LONG time, but I don't play female characters, so I can't help you there.
  20. Best you can do is start new games with it disabled and only enable it after the character creation. That seems to work. This thing was driving me crazy for months until I gave up and simply stopped giving a damn - I don't customize my characters too much, and the iron armour can be thrown away.
  21. Does your graphic card have 1GB of VRAM or something? The resolution of textures is absolutely irrelevant to framerate unless you overfill the card's memory with too many high resolution textures, at which point you might experience some stuttering. At this time and age I can't imagine a single mod consisting of 2k textures do that unless it's installed on prehistoric PC.
  22. The iron armour/helmet seems to be related to kryptopyr's Stealth Skills Rebalanced mod (but noone was ever able to replicate it in a reliable way). It definitely has nothing to do with skeleton or this mod.
  23. It could be a bug on Nexus side: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7473 Disregard the browser in question.
  24. Uh, I don't understand at all. I thought weather ids were hardcoded in the CoT plugin (or whatever mod that might be). Really, forget it. There's no loss in me not using your mod. I am sure everyone else will be fine with it. My god I'm stupid (but I had no idea these ids from MO were somehow injected into mods). Let me see what the screenshots look like. Looks like it's really just completely different style. I don't like the clouds on the very horizon, they look somewhat out of place. Different colour and it gives me the impression of the game being a small picture in front of something big I am actually standing half a metre from, if it makes any sense. But the clouds that are closer look really nice. I guess I was looking at the wrong weather when I made my original post.
