  1. I don't understand the last part of the post. What's CoT loadoder id? edit: "fw 0c05b78e" doesn't do anything, id not found. I'm not sure what's wrong. "fw 5b78e" doesn't work either.
  2. That looks really good. Can you tell me what place that roughly is, and which weather (id) is it?
  3. Eh, I can't find any suitable place and weather where I could take at least half decent screenshots to illustrate the "problem". The plugin just makes sky extremely bright in my game, so it's not making it any better. I think it's just a case of different style rather than a real problem of any kind. Just disregard my bitching
  4. Too bad I deleted the few comparison screenshots I took. I'll have to do it again to show you what I didn't like. I use the CoT Weather Patch btw.
  5. So I tried it for a while, and in the end had to uninstall it. I assume it's really meant to be used with ENB, because in vanilla game the textures are just blurry, and I ended up going back to the original CoT clouds :( That obviously doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the mod, though.
  6. If you want to make absolutely certain the integrated GPU isn't used, disable it in BIOS - if it's even possible. This has just reminded me not to ever again in my life touch anything made by HP. I still feel guilty for making my father in law buy that horrible Pavilion brick they never ever released updated graphic driver for. ...otherwise, I think there are settings available in ENB to force using specific GPU. Perhaps the fact that you're using default ini has something to do with the problem?
  7. Well there must be something wrong with either the settings in the ini file or with the whole setup (dual GPU notebooks are usually a recipe for trouble). Why don't you post the inis?
  8. I fixed the problem and got to keep the same font: SIM - Skyrim Interface Makeover for SkyUI (Fhaarkas Font Mod). This mod is pretty amazing.
  9. I thought so, but WAF hasn't been updated for a long time, but ICH got the long awaited update "recently", so I'm afraid this would bring some significant (but harmless) incompatibilities.
  10. I do agree about the current STEP mods being good enough though. I very much prefer Gamwich's cabbage (looks more natural and not oversharpened), however the cheese, on second and third looks, could use some improvements. The textures despite being high resolution and not upscaled, lack a fair amount of detail and sharpness. This is especially noticeable with eidar. For the goat (is that the orange one?), I really don't like how it looks on the cut. It's a blurry mess. The outer texture is nice though.
  11. I just posted about a mod. Never said it should go into STEP...
  12. Ah yes, Apollo. His descriptions are somewhat funny, but they are annoyingly long and kind of overdone, and they get old fast. Gamwich's cheese looks like it could use a bit more sharpness - could anyone post a screenshot how it looks in his game?
  13. IMMERSIVE LORE-FRIENDLY CHEESE AND CABBAGE I think this mod deserves a thread for its description page if nothing else. The cheese textures are also nice. Not as sharp as those from High Quality Food and Ingredients, but still pretty fine. I hope Gamwich will expand on the food in future. I am also glad he started creating textures in higher resolution some time ago. It was such a shame to see awesome textures go blur away when you got close. No more! P.S. Look at the file descriptions. I had a great friday laugh.
  14. I have Impr. Closefaced Helmets 1.11 installed and am pretty clueless which esp to use. Since the last version comes with merged esp, I think the WAF version is no longer needed, but I really am not sure.
  15. I saw that, but it's still pretty confusing. So this is obsolete then and Sheson's mod is superior?
  16. Could someone explain what's the difference between this and Sheson's project? I don't understand it one bit.
  17. Does it depend on the effects used or something?
  18. Why don't you use MSI Afterburner? I've been using it for a LONG time, and it's just about perfect. It's free, lightweight (as far as I can tell), easily configured. And it doesn't come with any performance hit (or very insignificant one). I've been using it to record Battlefield 4 footage and had no problems. It can record anything really.
  19. But the guide specifically says "This sets the total memory that will be used for the ENBoost dynamic memory allocation". That doesn't really look like it has anything to do with VRAM, but rather the extra memory ENBoost will use. It's really confusing.
  20. Oh my old thread. Haha... Another way of inspiration could be Twitch. It's live, obviously, but there are usually several channels online in the evenings, and some of the people are fairly fun to watch. Heck I might try streaming myself (not that I think I'm funny), if I ever start playing seriously again (and get bored of Farming Simulator).
  21. I don't like it, even though I want to. The textures are, technically speaking, great. But for some weird reason it makes the children look too mature, and I mean up to the point they don't really look like children to me. What's worse, it makes male children look like female, which I personally find really disturbing.
  22. This thread made me look into the textures a little, and I realized the texture from CoT actually looked great. Vanilla sun (which I actually never saw until now) is just one HUGE almost pure white blinding... thing which looks horrible to me. This mod is a significant improvement but still looks weird, especially with the rays. When I tried with just CoT, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. Not only does the sun have a shape, it's not blinding and it's not so extremely shiny-white. I highly recommend everyone to take a look. Obviously, this has nothing to do with STEP. Just saying.
