  1. This is not covered by Book Covers Skyrim? I have to take a look at it.
  2. The new version finally has CoT Weather Patch option. Yay. I just need to start playing Skyrim now...
  3. My vote is Gamwich's box. I changed my opinion, because the quality is incomparable. And besides, hiding/moving/deleting individual files all the time is pain in the ass.
  4. He created another box texture, it's an option in the installer.
  5. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64067/? Immersive Horses is a lightweight overhaul mod which aims to improve on nearly every aspect of horses in Skyrim while remaining as true as possible to the original game. Immersive Horses also implements a follower system designed specifically for horses and it adds a range of new commands and options for horses far beyond the simple vanilla mount and dismount functionality. OPTIONS Initially, any horse you acquire will display a horse options menu when activated: "Ride" or "Dismount" - Normal activation for mounting or dismounting the horse."Follow Me" or "Wait Here" - Command the horse to follow you or wait where it is."Talk/Search" - Talk to NPCs and search NPC corpses (while mounted)."Open Inventory" - Access the horse's inventory and/or change the horse's saddle/barding/etc."Show Stats" - Display the horse's statistics: health, stamina, speed, etc."Dismiss" - Dismiss the horse so it returns to the stable or area where it was found."Manage Horses..." - More options for your horses (see options below). If you have more than one horse, the "Manage Horses..." option will display a list of all of your horses. Choosing one from the list will display an extended menu for that horse with additional options: "Whistle" - Whistle for the horse to come to you (requires Whistle)."Change Aggression..." - Set the horse's aggression to: Unaggressive, Aggressive, Very Aggressive, Frenzied."Change Confidence..." - Set the horse's confidence to: Cowardly, Cautious, Average, Brave, Foolhardy."Rename..." - Change the horse's name."Swap Positions..." - Swap the horse's position with that of another horse in the list.If you'd prefer not to see the horse options menu every time, then you can use the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) to map certain options hotkeys instead. This includes various commands such as Whistle, Talk/Search, Open Inventory, and display of the horse list menu ([H] by default). The default actions for standing, sneaking, and mounted activation can also be changed in the MCM. There is also an option to protect all horses from death by any source except the player. Additionally, followers can ride any horses you own if you use a follower overhaul mod that supports it, such as Extensible Follower Framework. It is possible to own a total of 40 horses. It's supposedly much more lightweight than Convenient Horses, which is fairly script heavy. I've been using this for a while now and it seems to work really well. It also uses the krittakitty's horse textures.
  6. The scales are a nice concept, I'll give him that.
  7. I have recently looked at this mod again, and after a while of looking at the textures, I can only state (I knew before, but wanted to make double sure) it's just another typical case of simply upscaling existing textures, slapping a Photoshop filter over them (it doesn't matter he created an impression of scales, the underlaying texture is a blurry mess), and calling it revolutionary amazing newe super HD 8k retexture. This practice is disgusting and must stop. Not impressed. That Skunky123/MysteryModder guy was doing the exact same thing. Amazingly, people fall for this every_single_time.
  8. The last screenshots, HOLY SH..!!
  9. I am not sure I like the leathery look of the armour. Isn't it supposed to be cloth?
  10. I liked this mod a lot, but the amount of glitches and annoyances (having to manually unblock things all the time) far overweighted the (very) nice visual additions it brought.
  11. Somewhat ontopic: fadingsignal said on reddit that he might be doing equivalent of this mod for the khajiit, which would be absolutely amazing.
  12. You're right. I very much prefer the style from the STEP mod, but Gamwich's quality much more than that. Too bad they can't be combined.
  13. I am really curious how incompatible it might be with all those character animations. Looks nice, but kind of overdone. But I'm sure some people prefer that. Also, 360MB, whoa. That has to be a record of some sort.
  14. Gamwich is working on the box as well. This one is from fadingsignal I believe. (I like the one from Skyrim Redesigned better as well, even though it's just a partial retexture)
  15. Maybe it would be a good idea to add CoT-WeatherPatch.esp as a master so there wouldn't be a need to add rules in LOOT's masterlist.
  16. The only thing I personally don't like about this mod is the rain texture, and am using RAIN (v2) instead.
  17. Well, there's this video on the mod's page: I don't think anyone bothered to compare it with the very old mod when this is meant as a direct problems-free replacement and then some. And you can read more in the initial reddit thread. I think this part is important: Immersive Thunder v6 is an old, early mod, and does nothing scary but combine the vanilla rain and thunder wav files together, and change a couple of frequency variance settings (a few mistakenly, TBH). Because they blended thunder sound directly into the rain loop, the thunder actually DOES loop indefinitely, so those of you who are experiencing this are not crazy. However, this combined with the vanilla "problem" of only using one thunder sound means double repeating insanity.
  18. A version with CoT and CoT Weather Patch is out!
  19. I know! But that's not exactly what I asked. I'm trying to understand what exactly the mod does and what to expect.
  20. So basically, this replaces Grieche's SDO by creating those LOD meshes (they are meshes, right?) somehow from the mods you have installed (assuming they have some meshes in them?). Right? Textures are irrelevant I guess, and whatever replacers you have installed will be used and this is really just about the meshes? This might sound like a stupid post after 35 pages worth of discussion, but I really wasn't reading here much at all (and I don't think I can digest so many posts now).

CHANGE LOG Version 1.9: Updated with most recent changes from Unofficial Patches, Weapons & Armor Fixes, and Complete Crafting OverhaulAdded proper Bash tags (Delev, Relev) to fileAdded the Bonemold and Staff of Magnus HotfixesIncluded conflicting changes from BetterQuestObjectives, so a separate patch for this mod is no longer needed.Added the ability to craft alternate unenchanted versions of Ebony MailAdded PRUFEI conditions to breakdown recipesCorrected typo in the name of three EnchGlassCuirassDestruction04 variantsCorrected footstep sound for Ebony Gold & Ebony Silver boots (was light)Corrected 1st person female ebony cuirass & gauntletsChanged Steel Glass armor so that it weighs a bit more than regular glass armor, but has the same armor rating.Changed stats of Elven & Glass variants to correspond to changes made in WAF Version 5.1.Corrected Impact data and Block material for Glass variant shields (was Heavy, should be Light).Thalmor gauntlets will now use the correct black variant texture for female first person view. The Steel white fur variant should now appear properly for female characters when in first person view.Renamed "Iron-Brown Fur" to "Iron-Fine" (gave them slightly higher stats)Added Corundum to "Iron-Fine" recipesRemoved generic enchanted Iron-Fine armors from 01 and 02 sublists, so the Iron-Fine will spawn 1/3 as often and will only appear with the better (rank 03) enchantments.Crafting, tempering, and breakdown recipes added for new Iron-Engraved variant.Engraved Iron and Fine Iron now use male helmet mesh for both males and females. 22. sheson, when this project gets out of beta, can we expect the process of generating the... output to be any simpler? It seems horribly complicated and even though I don't consider myself completely stupid, I don't get it at all. And briefly checking the posts in this tread didn't help the impression I got much, in fact I am really scared to even try it.
  23. Oh it can act as both?! Now that's interesting. I'll have to break my rule of not using anything beta and give it a shot.
  24. It's part of the main package now, on the second page of the installer.
