I believe I was correct in saying that your requiem-dragonborn patches should be loaded last in the requiem related load order though, so please be sure to check on that. Unless it has changed since I last messed around with my own Requiem load order, AZrock (the creator of requiem patches) has stated that Dragonborn patch should be dead last for conflict reasons. Edit: Exception being the pugins that rely on the requiem-dragonborn patch. those should, of course, be loaded after this patch as requiem-dragonborn should be loaded first as master.

Regardless of whether you are using a mod that modifies sneak or are just using vanilla sneak, lighting still plays a role in how sneak works. unfortunately sneak can be broken in a vanilla skyrim because not all light is "real light", but "fake light" at times. point in case being in dungeons and several interiors where you get a light effect but it's actually a glow from a glow mesh such as certain types of fog. While it looks cool, it has no effect on sneak. Another issue with sneak and lighting, in particular vanilla lighting, is the imagespace templates used in certain areas. The templates can brighten or darken an area but it has no affect on sneak whatsoever. This is why certain lighting mods such as Realistic Lighting Overhaul can actually make sneaking more realistic. When proper lighting and imagespace templates are used, your sneak rate increases wherever it may be dark and decreases wherever it may be light. (for the record, don't expect this to be applied to RLO dungeons because dungeons have not been fixed in this fashion yet, but the majority if not all of exterior lighting and city/town lighting will follow these mechanics for this particular mod)

Problem with new windows 8.1 update?
deathneko11 replied to Razorsedge877's question in Mod Organizer Support
I don't think you have to install python into the MO folder. Installing python into your OS drive should be enough. As far as I know, only the version of python recommended in the Wiki is compatible. I have tested the newest version myself and it is not compatible with MO at this time, because the configurator that MO uses was built on the Wiki recommended version of Python (or something like that). -

Set 70 or higher if using grass on steroids is not loaded by the ini because of the // Of course this is probably a moot post on my end. Early morning and not a cup of coffee in me yet

It could alzo mean missing menu textures -
I am in agreement with Tiger. You mentioned that you are new to modding so I understand how you feel, you want all the best mods out there. I can tell you though that when it comes to modding skyrim for the best playthrough, less is more when it comes to mod count. put together as many texture and visual mods as you would like to achieve the look you want for skyrim, and try to go easy on the mod count in regard to game changing mods. Put together a core set of mods that you know you cannot play without (you would be surprised at how small this list can get when you really optimize your load order) and be cautious of which sort of mods may have conflicts with one another. In general, something like plugin merging to reduce plugin count is usually handled by more advanced modders that have been around the block or two. A basic understanding of what sort of mods are mergeable and what mods just aren't meant to be merged is key, and such modders that do this sort of thing usually have a very stable load order with 100s of plugins when they are all loose and broken down, or they are merging plugins to make some mods more compatible with each other.

quick little fun fact: If you want to see a purple Skyrim, try extracting your textures bsa and optimizing them. Fun stuff happens :p

DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
deathneko11 replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have been using Smart Souls for a while now. No issues in a vanilla game and the mod has an extremely wide scope of compatibility. I have thrown the mod against all sorts of other mods and have come across no issues so long as other mods that do the same thing are not used at the same time (such as aquisitive soul gems) -
Agreed. On smaller monitors such as a 16 inch (which I use) you honestly cannot tell the difference between the performance and full versions with the exception of certain low impact (from a performance perspective) featues such as water reflections and water parallux. Even the full versions have less of an impact on performance than certain other ENBs out there that are rich in eye candy and contrast/bloom effects. RealVision also has one of the best supporting communities I have seen on the Nexus.

Having Two of the same mod (Like CBBE)
deathneko11 replied to Klokinator's question in Mod Organizer Support
just speaking for personal experience here but sometimes it seems when i put MO through extended use it can kind of glitch or hang up on me. after all, it handles a LOT of data at once if you stop and think about it. usually restarting MO or restarting my PC fixes it on the odd rare occasion that it does this. And you can ask Wolverine, I'm no hack when it comes to this kind of stuff :p so it's not exactly a user error type of thing, but more of a data handling type of thing, if this makes sense. -
just a tip here, it might help to make your posts look a little cleaner and viewer friendly by using quotes and spoiler tags where appropriate. if you are unsure then quote a post or a snippet by using

so if I read the mod description right, once you have everything set up properly there are only a limited number of books that have support for the audio? and the rest of the books are yet to come, and need voice actors correct? definitely following this one as an immersion mod.

MO with Oblivion-- archive invalidation?
deathneko11 replied to Luinithil's question in Mod Organizer Support
i'm not saying this is proven information mind you. this is just something I saw in passing, so I am not saying it is reliable. But it wouldn't hurt to try. -
MO with Oblivion-- archive invalidation?
deathneko11 replied to Luinithil's question in Mod Organizer Support
eh....i have heard that unpacking all bsas in skyrim has no impact on performance but can actually increase performance for older TES games such as oblivion. try and see, MO makes it so easy to fix it if you mess up after all. -

and also not recommended (at least by myself), because they can sometimes do more damage than good. However, it never hurts to try I reckon. -

if you use wryebash or mod organizer to install your mods, check for conflicts inside the installer to see if there is anything overwriting files from the windows mod. if not, then there is always TES5edit to look for said conflicts. -

I hate to do this but I recommend not using UFO at all, choose another follower mod such as EFF. UFO is too out of date and has been reported to be buggy by people using it on an otherwise unmodded skyrim. The mod author also hasn't been around last I checked.
