  1. *twitch* I almost want to call this spam *twitch* I know quite a few that would kill for that kind of hardware :p
  2. Thank you Aiyen for the little tut here. I am fair firm in the head on what to do now, and the last detail which I've hilighted in yellow is something that I did not know. That alone makes things much clearer for me, and I have a feeling that I'll be a bit more helpful around here and the nexus now.
  3. Shamed as I am to admit this, I have never been able to bring myself to try making a patch in TES5edit. Any chance one of ya'll could do a little video showing it being done? I'm more a visual learner than by the text. I don't even care if the quality is bad or if the video is completely silent. I just need to see where the mouse moves once the two mods being patched are loaded into T5e. Truth be told, I am almost sure I get the idea but I'd rather see it in action before messing with it. I have had requests from several people for in depth TES5edit and Wryebash video tutorials such as what I have done for Mod Organizer, and I'm wanting to dive into it soon. This would be a good start for me. I have had some minor experience with using TES5edit but that was just to delete records where something was moved by myself or by the CK black magic when working on Realistic Lighting Overhaul, and also for cleaning mods. I need to know how to use the other functions of the tool though.
  4. I've said all i wanted to say here.
  5. Agreed. Â I mean no offense but you both fall into what I call the Arthmoor category; genious mod maker with poor customer service i.e."people skills". Â If you two were not so selfish then starac would never have been banned from the nexus and two great texture artists could have collaborated to put bethesda to shame!
  6. I think I decided to play with that video maker. With some personal editing, I can manage something for a short 5-10 second intro now that i've taken a 2nd look at it today. fixed it up some, this will be my new intro for now on once I get a small bit of editing done to cut out the logo and the endcap https://animoto.com/play/2B8B123aTAXZKofYxWcIgw
  7. Could you imagine Swift Potions working with an animated potions mod? it would get pretty hot in battle. I wish they could, at least using the hotkey function from swift potions at any rate.
  8. I'm sure you can choose the ones you want. I know that a lot of S.T.E.P. users have a tendency to modify the load order provided by the guide here to suit their tastes. Also, i'm moving this post to a more appropriate thread. This is not a WryeBash related topic.
  9. I'm not saying I get lost on HOW to mod the other games, just that I have not been tracking the mods for those games like skyrim so I get lost trying to find a decent set of mods that I want to use :p for the record I don't plan on doing complicated modding like I do for skyrim for the other bethesda games. I plan to get a stable mod install going and then I won't touch it once I actually start the games. Ever.
  10. I'll be honest here, when it comes to modding anything other than skyrim I get completely lost. I have only just recently started looking into mods for the fallout series, and I still have not looked for mods for oblivion and morrowind (which I have the games for now, I'm just waiting for a decent time to play them) A guide for mods for Fallout would be amazing, even if it was just for FONV (besides, with TTW about the only mods you can have for FO3 are texture, environment, and weather related anyway, maybe some gear packs that play nicely)
  11. I'm keen to see this guide when you get done with it, as I'm getting ready to jump into FNV for the first time myself. I have a question though, do you think any part of the guide might have issues with Tale of Two Worlds? I've been looking at it and am tempted to give it a go, since running FO3 on the FONV engine can fix a few things that I find really ugly about FO3.
  12. If it's possible for a mod to swap a lit candle with an unlit candle via a script (for certain lantern and light related mods) between daytime and night, I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to do this for environment related textures.
  13. That include Beta as first post implied you had invite for this weekend? yep!
  14. Decided not to bother with ESO myself. For selfish reasons I'll wait for TES6 before touching another TES game.
  15. I think it's a good improvement but it could just be because of my tastes. the original vanilla texture looks so blurry, and his work seems a little sharper though not much. The big improvement for me is there seems to be more depth to the color, if that makes sense.
  16. I'm giving it some thought still. I have to admit that a style like the intro to darkfox's youtube movies would be appealing though (but obviously not with a fox, I reckon with a kitten or cat considering my legacy name :p ) hmm......I did a test video from a free site. Looks crummy but I wonder if I could play around with it for a temporary solution bah. guess yall don't allow html here. https://animoto.com/play/hhomQ5cnYhu0SWDUA2WUpA
  17. Sweet and simple here, though the answer might not be rofl. Basically I need an introduction graphics or logo for my youtube videos (or rather, WANT!) :P However, websites like IntroMaker.net want to charge you 99 U.S. $bucks for a proper graphics logo. I was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative, somewhere I could find an animated graphics logo maker for cheap or rather, free (by cheap I mean for under $10 haha) The main reason I'm requesting this is because I'm getting ready for some huge expansions on my youtube channel. Right now it's just tutorials for Mod Organizer, but I'm getting ready to do a major overhaul of those tutorials with a series of up to date mini tutorials based on needs for the wiki. I am also going to begin mod coverage with skyrim and eventually newer editions of the FO and TES series. AND I will be starting some let's play series. I feel like this will be a huge advantage to getting my channel overhaul to a good start, hit the door running so to speak.
  18. Good find. I'm downloading now
  19. Oh don't worry, you might get the occasional bug or hiccup even in large load orders but it will usually default to a fast travel mode if the mod does get screwey. I'm using it with 166 plugins and roughly 210 mods installed, and I don't often see it screw up.
  20. That mod is really worth using for immersion. It can however get a bit buggy if used in a large load order, but I would definitely try installing it again once you are past the helgen dungeon. A must have in my opinion.
  21. hmm, I'll be trying to make an account with my usual name. deathneko11. and I'll be on the 2nd day unfortunately, I have another 24hour shift on opening day T_T
  22. I don't suppose you have any finished skins you could upload, would you? I never got the opportunity to play around with it myself, though I remember you explaining shortly how you do it.
  23. Try going into command window and typing "showracemenu" without the quotes and hit enter. then change your body on the weight slider and finish character creation (don't worry it shouldn't hurt anything) see if that fixes it.
