Just make a second installation of Mod Organizer, and set it up for New Vegas. Clean, elegant, and nothing gets mixed up between your games.

pack Immersive Survival (by tehherb)
deathneko11 replied to tehherb's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Chipping in here, if using skytest and multiple other mods that add npcs to the exterior world of skyrim (such as immersive patrols, sands of time, warzones, asis increased spawns, etc.) be sure to use the version of Skytest that only modifies animal behavior to increase stability. I do not recommend using the full version that adds spawns for animals and predators unless you are sure you are not running other mods that could affect the spawns or multiple mods that increase exterior life in general. -
ACCEPTED Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (by David Jegutidse)
deathneko11 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'm not going to say i'm an expert here. I'm not. Also I have no definitive data. I am only working on what i've read in the nexus comments and forums. DCO was an example because of comments made by the mod author himself. I just feel like since he and other mod authors have shown some distress over odd incompatibilities, that it might be a good idea to look a little deeper into this. But as I said I am no expert on this. I do know however that some mod authors (apollowdown being the example here since it's his mod we've mentioned before) will not offer any sort of troubleshooting help if AOS and patches are used in conjunction with their mods. -
pretty sure we'll be working on this over time now that this section has been created. The plan I believe is to start moving similar items into this section as we come across them in the forums.

I plan to fully update the videos in the very near future. However, I need some information regarding the wiki first. do you have a skype account DoubleYou? I think it would be a good idea for you, Wolverine, and myself to have a group chat. -
ACCEPTED Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (by David Jegutidse)
deathneko11 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
sorry for sticking my nose in here but, because of the way this mod modifies a lot of vanilla objects to do what it does, doesn't this make this mod incompatible with a LOT of mods? i mean it even causes some incompatibilities with mods like Dragon Combat Overhaul. Features of DCO are broken because this mod just modifies dragon sounds, but it's because of the way that this mod makes those modifications that breaks certain DCO features. I'm not sure of the specific details but I believe that AOS would require an astonishing number of patches or edits in TES5edit in order to make it not break various sorts of load orders. -
i'm a realvision fan, but yeah i miss having night vision. i've heard that it can be re-enabled by disabling a certain feature but I cannot remember what kind of drawbacks this could cause. a performance friendly enb that has nightvision enabled and geared more towards fantasy theme would be E Enb Final by Ewi. fantastic work and I plan to use it when i go for a more fantasy approach in my playthrough.

DROPPED Candle Lanterns of the North (by Chesko)
deathneko11 replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I can go into great detail here, but i'm getting the feeling from previous posts that it will be ignored or argued against for the most part. I will say however that bottom line is, and EVEN CHESKO SAYS THIS, there is no such thing as a pure 100% clean uninstall of a scripted mod. it will never happen for skyrim, and if you start a game with a mod installed it is always safer to leave that mod installed. which also means that you have to know that you want every mod in your load order for your entire playthrough when you begin a game. it might not have any issues for the moment. but there is stuff happening in papyrus that could cause something else to malfunction later. those scripts stay embedded into your save file. this gets more dangerous the more mods you have installed. well, i went into detail anyway (somewhat). I'm not trying to be rude or mean, these are just facts. it's up to whoever reads this to decide how to use it. -
I think it's a good idea to do the big patches. Not that my 2cents is likely to be worth much here :p because really, if you're going to mod your game in the first place then you at least need to try to have a basic understanding of how things work. I find it likely that a large percentage of users that use the large patches will be able to add or take away with some basic knowledge, and that knowledge is not hard to come by if they have access to the wikis here explaining how to make small edits for patch work through tes5edit. I recommend that if we do add TES5edit to the mod pages, we first put a condensed user friendly guide up and then add underneath that more technical details for those more advanced users that want to dig deeper and make more changes than say a beginner modder.

DROPPED Candle Lanterns of the North (by Chesko)
deathneko11 replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I would call that not very stable. it's possible to stabilize a heavily modded game before putting any hours into it. removing mods won't add stability, just make things worse in the long run. Just a little tip. -

i did not say he will definitely require a new game for update. I said that it may come to that since he cannot guarantee the integrity of a clean update in a current game. the current version is so buggy and the update will have the scripts overhauled so drastically that I doubt the update in a current game will function 100% reliably. Bugger. Chesko seems to have removed the reply to my update questions about a month or two ago. -

this is from the wearable lanterns mod page. Just check Chesko's mod comments section. -

aye, all you need is the main wearable lanterns mod if you just want to wear a lantern on your belt. I will say this though, chesko is working on a big update for wearable lanterns. he cannot even guarantee a clean update for the mod at this point, meaning that the mod in its current state may need a new game if you plan to update to the less buggy and far less script intensive update when he finishes it. -

this is a sort of add-on mod for wearable lanterns, but as far as i know recent skyrim updates have broken candle lanterns of the north. if i remember correctly, what it does is allows you to pick up lanterns with candles in them and use them. i could be slightly off though. -
SKYRIMLE Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life by BralorMarr
deathneko11 replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
indeed. I'm going to give this a few more days before plugging it in myself. this makes for a very interesting playthrough on hardcore mode i'm sure (by hardcore I mean even legendary on vanilla looks like a cakewalk) -
I had an idea. Instead of me updating my original guides and having 2 massive guides that will be difficult to navigate again, why don't i do a mini tutorial series that can be integrated throughout the MO wiki?Â

If you need to see if a file is loaded correctly look in MO data section, it will be shown wherever the mod loads it. If the file is not loaded properly then it won't show in the data section. -

In my opinion arthmoor blew it out of proportion. MO is not a faulty tool. Get off his high horse, user error was at fault here. It takes some basic modding knowledge to use MO, just as it does to use WryeBash or TES5edit without borking your game. -
Oops, accidentally moved this to wrong place. Stupid tablet.g
