  1. I think you are over-thinking this. The unendorsed flag doesn't look that ugly. I have a number of unendorsed mods, and I don't mind. I have over 300 mods, and most of them I have endorsed.
  2. It isn't anything to do with 64-bit. It sounds like you have a problem with your configuration, perhaps a virus hogging system resources.
  3. Hover over the mod file and it will tell you its name. If this is too much work, install every file, and then it will have its proper name, and you can activate and deactivate at will.
  4. Have you tried running Mod Organizer as administrator?
  5. 1.0.9 released and the automated fix for potential mod order issue is removed and replaced with "no guided fix." This is probably the best solution until the solution is ironed out.
  6. Tomorrow Gamefly will have Dawnguard on sale for $10, Hearthfire for $2.50, and Dragonborn for $10, and GFDNOV20 should take an additional 20% off.
  7. I was pretty sure that as long as you had WAF, then Skyforge, then WAF Skyforge patch that everything was correct. Did something change?
  8. Everything has been more or less working correctly for me now since I fixed the Python issue. -The installer appears to have worked correctly. -Can't really test the bundled Python as I already have Python installed. -I haven't activated more than 255 esps so I have no idea about that warning. -I didn't have any dummy esps. -I ain't using NMM The warning for realigning priorities according to load order presented me with some issues. When I fix the issue via the automated way, some of my other priorities get messed up (this can happen if you have over 300 mods). For example, these are the ones that are highlighted for me So I fix this. Bug#1 If I delete the backup, the warning icon persists at being red until restart of Mod Organizer. Bug#2 Until I refresh, some of the changed priorities do not display the correct conflict progression in the Conflicts tab. Bug#3 Now some of my priorities are messed up. For example, DSAMG Dragonborn Patches (load order 46) is supposed to overwrite DSAMG main mod that was moved because of #6. After the fix is applied, the DSAMG Dragonborn Patches is being overwritten by the DSAMG main mod, which will break the mod. The same bug has also moved SkyUI higher in priority so that it is now overwriting EzE's Colored Map Markers, which will cause that mod to utterly fail. So what do you need? You need a check that will check for conflicts that are currently in the priorities that will get changed when you Fix this automatically. It needs to not only make the priority changes that you currently have implemented, but also move the priorities of any other mod in conflict that has been compromised. In other words, in my case, EzE's Colored Map Markers would have also needed to move after SkyUI and DSAMG Dragonborn Patches would also have needed to be moved after DSAMG main. Now, after I've manually fixed those two priority problems this causes, I delete the backup, restart Mod Organizer, and guess what, I'm not done! So, I try this again. This time if I click fix, it is utter chaos. The Unofficial Patches are moved way too low in my load order and are overwriting all sorts of things they're not supposed to overwrite, not to mention it has moved DSAMG Dragonborn in such a manner that it again is totally being useless. I must restore from the backup, which works. Now I have a dilemma. The cause for this is because both DSAMG packages have an esp in them that fixes some minor thing. The Dragonborn Patch (Miraak music fixes) one is sorted by BOSS very early in my load order (17) and the DSAMG main mod has a optional Greybeard fix esp loaded at 115 in my load order via BOSS. That would indicate by this mechanism that I should load DSAMG main mod after the DSAMG Dragonborn Patch which is wrong, so this whole warning thing is of no use to me in this situation. What I need for this situation is an ignore button! So, in reality, I am thinking that the current implementation of this needs some tweaking. I really believe that a Flag would do a better job, and a button in the context menu to ignore the flag when necessary, as in this case.
  9. I've been playing Diablo II for the past couple days. Does that count?
  10. Could you do this for me? 1. Press Winkey+R to open the Run dialog 2. Type regedit and enter 3. Find this key for me and tell me what you got in there (or take a screenshot): HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\nxm\shell\open\command
  11. The wiki covers this pretty well. You need to query info on your manually downloaded mods so that they can collect the correct meta info needed to set categories, Nexus IDs and version info. You don't have to do this when you download with manager. Click the Globe icon to allow it to Download With Manager.
  12. Some mods have too many files and MO cannot currently fetch every one of them. An example would be More Hotkeys Please.
  13. Well, it looks like a Bethesda thing, as their didn't follow the rules ;)
  14. I think we need to report this to Microsoft as a bug in their software, because this is truly their fault. Sure, we can probably put some kind of safeguard into Mod Organizer that might make it work, but why should we have to fix Microsoft's bugs? It's the same thing when it comes to modding. Do you make a patch to fix the author's bugs or do you notify the author about the bug? Certainly if the mod author decides to disregard the bug, we will be forced to do his work for him, or ditch his work altogether.
  15. Glad you got SKSE working. Keep Automatic Variants and its packs enabled always. Your ini is somewhat messed up :( Based on the fact that your ini shows you being on a GT 210, I suggest you make the following changes: Please read why I suggest these values and modify accordingly:
  16. To install SKSE: 1. Download the 7z archive. 2. Manually copy the loose files at the top of the archive to the Skyrim directory where TESV.exe is located. 3. Now in Mod Organizer click the Archive button and select the skse archive. 4. Right-click on the Data directory, select "Set data directory" 5. Press OK to install 6. Enable it in the Left Pane for all your profiles. To fix Automatic Variants: 1. Ensure your overwrite directory is empty 2. Reinstall the Automatic Variant textures as AV tends to delete them in Mod Organizer. If you've been merging the overwrite folder with the original mod, you may simply want to remove it and reinstall Automatic Variants itself to get everything back to normal. I suggest you keep Automatic Variants installed as a mod separate from its texture packs, despite the fact that its included packages tend to want you to install them to it. 3. Run Automatic Variants and patch 4. Once finished patching, overwrite will be full of files, including Automatic Variants.esp and a SkyProc Patchers folder, etc. Right-click Overwrite and select "Create mod" and name it something like Automatic Variants Creation. This way you should have Automatic Variants installed as cleanly as possible. On EBT... I don't use Enhanced Blood Textures, but MO is not at fault, because I've used it before without trouble in MO. Check for a script conflict, and if so, change the priority order so that all its scripts are available. On the Shadow problem, could you please use a spoiler and code tag and copy the contents of your Display section of your SkyrimPrefs.ini here? iShadowMaskQuarter might be at fault I'm guessing, but I'd prefer to see all your shadow settings than just guessing.
  17. What were the mods you installed? Sometimes when you install large texture mods with lots and lots of stuff and you check the boxes, it will be laggy because it is trying to quickly compute all the conflicts.
  18. What version of Mod Organizer are you using? If it is 12.9, you will have to update in order for it to work.
  19. Just go to 1.0.7's plugins directory, copy the data directory and paste into 1.0.8, and I chose not to overwrite the ones that were already there.
  20. You forgot some Qt Python files in the plugins/data folder, so Python plugins won't work and you'll get an error message. Adding the ones from the previous RC fixes it.
  21. Is Oblivion updated to the latest version?
  22. The main thing I have against Firefox is pretty much the user interface's rather 3d appearance, if you know what I mean. You see, in Chrome, you get the visual impression that each tab is very thin and it feels like to my hand that I need not work very hard to flip open another tab. In Firefox, however, there is a sense of depth to it which makes me feel like I have to press the mouse button very hard in order to open a new tab. Similarly, this is why I still use Mod Organizer's dark skin instead of the skins I've been playing with, because my skins ironically give Mod Organizer that same depth feeling.
  23. I'm not certain what you're saying. I can batch change categories of my mods without problems. It you select all mods and put them all into the category "SkyRE+Realism" of course all mods will be put in that category, as that is what you just told the program to do. What are you trying to do?
  24. ::EDIT by rootsrat:: Original split from Mod Organizer Support forums to discuss which browser do you use and why it's not IE :D I also included a poll! Multiple answers possible :) If you want to include any other browsers in the poll let me know and I'll edit it. -rr- Original DoubleYou's post: Internet Explorer is the Nexus Mod Manager of browsers. Browsers, you mean?;) -rootsrat- Fixed ;) -DoubleYou-
