How do I properly install "Even Better Quest Objectives" in Mod Organizer?
DoubleYou replied to Borgodoc's question in Mod Organizer Support
You do realize that the Even Better Quest Objectives installer tries to install a BetterQuestObjectives.esp with the DLC patches merged in wherever possible? If all you have installed is the DLC and Book Covers Skyrim, you will only get the BetterQuestObjectives.esp, because the author has created a merged file with all those fixes together. For my current setup, the only additional esp I use is the one for Extensible Follower Framework, and that is because I have all DLC, Book Covers Skyrim, and EFF. It still works correctly for me. The red warning triangle is telling however. You do realize that the installer only sees mods that you have installed and activated? A red triangle will indicate that you are missing a master file for that particular esp. -
So, what exactly was the problem?

The problem here was that the ini files contain unknown values that Mod Organizer's Configurator plugin simply cannot understand. Deleting the invalid lines will fix the errors. Deleting the //2048... comment from the skyrim.ini will fix the first error message. Deleting the stray iScreenShotIndex will fix the skyrimprefs.ini. Tested this myself, and it now works. Cheers. Or, Kia ora!

Okay, under the Display section of your skyrimprefs.ini you have a stray iScreenShotIndex with no value attached. If you delete this, the error will go away.
-
I was wondering if anyone else noticed the esp conflict between Smooth Blade Draws and Sheath and USKP. I didn't change it because I wasn't sure what it did. What does it do?
-
Could you post your skyrimprefs.ini. Both files you have pasted refer to the same skyrim.ini, unless they truly are identical.
-
Under the Display section, change iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 //2048 for better performanceto iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096and see if that doesn't fix the issue.
-
Could you do the following for me? 1. Click Puzzle icon 2. Select Ini Editor 3. Look for any line that has a value of 4096 in it 4. Report here Or you could copy and paste the contents of you ini files to somewhere like Pastebin so I can examine it.

For what game are you using Mod Organizer?

Multiple Mod Organizers for one game
DoubleYou replied to Nearox's question in Mod Organizer Support
You shouldn't need to delete NCC. As far as I know, the only thing that Mod Organizer writes to registry is how to handle nxm links, which has nothing to do with NCC. -
If you want to see how much performance you gain via grass, use TG in the console to toggle grass on and off. If you get no performance increase, you won't stand to gain much from tweaking grass settings.

You should have no trouble, since Mod Organizer is built on a portable platform. All you need to do is have Mod Organizer in two different locations. I would have one main one, and then have the other one point to the main ModOrganizer's downloads and mods directories, so you don't have to reinstall everything from scratch.

What are the two warnings? Are you ticking patches you don't need? -

Running Wrye Bash through Mod Organizer
DoubleYou replied to Whitestar127's question in Mod Organizer Support
I personally always disable the merge plugins feature for Wrye Bash, since I don't need the ESP room yet. -
Had stopped using this mod for awhile, but with the Dragonborn update, I had to reinstall it. Results: 1. Deleted meshes/architecture/whiterun/wrterrain/wrmainroadplains.nif from the mod as it was causing a prominent ugliness (for lack of a better term) on the path beside the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. 2. Created patch for compatibility between ELFX and College of Winterhold Immersive (that was laborious!) 3. Forwarded some fixes from unofficial patches and DLC 4. Created patch for compatibility between ELFXEnhancer and RealisticWaterTwo (easy) Long day!

I'm guessing this might be useful when in combat with vampires... Need an advantage, read a book!

ACCEPTED HD Stone Quarry and Clay Deposit (by skyrimaguas)

Well, if that's the case, I might just return to this mod. If they are going to have seams, they might as well look pretty!- 30 replies

I'm using the Sennheiser HD 201, which are the first pair of headphones I got. Super cheap, got mine refurbished for $11. Could be a little more comfortable, but sound is great. As a heads up, I'm pretty sure the current Climates of Tamriel compatibility patch is in need of an update, as it threw a bunch of errors in TES5Edit for me, so I redid it for my current game.

I've used it, but it caused seems around Ivarstead for me, so I disabled it for now. Forget what texture pack I was using then. It is an improvement, but texture seams is one thing that bug me more than low resolution textures.- 30 replies

Adding mods to my mod organizer should I unpack BSAs?
DoubleYou replied to Dweedle's question in Mod Organizer Support
Not really an issue with MO, BSAs checked under "Archives" are loaded, independent of the esp. Thanks for that info. So MO will always load a BSA that is checked under "Archives" regardless of the presence or absence of an esp. That's very useful. -
Skyrim hang when using MO to launch SKSE with ENB configured
DoubleYou replied to steveley's question in Mod Organizer Support
Also, Mod Organizer has different ini files for each profile, so if you changed the ones in documents/my games/skyrim and not the ones in modorganizer/profiles/ your ini edits were never made.
