Noobsayer Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 This seems like a no-brainer for inclusion. It's a straight-up fix and it works.
EssArrBee Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 We actually aren't accepting anything ATM with a release pretty close. But, something like this might be one of those post release updates and you should stick in your load order probably right behind the argonian decapitation fix right now.
DoubleYou Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Well, now that we've released 2.2.8, maybe we should think about accepting this one for 2.2.9. I believe mod testing has confirmed that this fixes a vanilla bug, and should make a Core mod in D - Fixes.
EssArrBee Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I've both checked it out with our mod list and with the upcoming UDGP changes and it is not in conflict or existing in an unofficial patch.
EssArrBee Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 If we are dropping mods now, then we should consider picking up this fix. It goes along with the Argonian fix we already have in section D. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
EssArrBee Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 This can be accepted and add to the working 2.2.8 guide, instead of being added to 2.2.9. It is a small fix not in UDBP yet, and fits well with argonian decap fix already in STEP. Anyone object, or want to hold off for any reason, say so.
DoubleYou Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I didn't realize we dropped or added mods to the working guide. I certainly don't object, as I already have it in my setup.
EssArrBee Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 We wouldn't add major mods to the working guide, but small stuff like this is okay. I doubt when we added AOS and dropped two SoS mods that would have gone into the working guide.
z929669 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I steer away from making mod-list changes to the working guide. Best to wait IMHO, since it just causes potential confusion and more maintenance. let's do accept though for next release.
EssArrBee Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Supposedly this was fixed by UDBP, but it was verified as a persistent bug here by Skadi and here by CJ2311, where he also confirmed this mod fixes the issue. I think the UDBP patch fixes the dismemberment partitions like their bug report records say, but does not fix the mesh problem. I only have limited knowledge of meshes, but UDBP does not overwrite the meshes in this mod, so it will need to be kept until the UPP addresses this.
