The settings work if I start a new game, and only that. I cannot load a save. All I get is an infinity load screen.
Am I forgetting some kind of setting or file?

My specs:
Acer Aspire V3-772g

i7 4th gen cpu
nvidia geforce gt 750m
optimus design so
intel hd 4600
12gb ram
and if necassary https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33227/? (to enable the use of geforce card abilities).

Hi, how can I keep ENB mode on when using SpINI with Mod Organizer? It keeps unchecking itself, very frustrating.

That is standard behavior. ENB mode causes the ENB necessary settings to be forced to compatible values. It is not "remembered" if you launch spINI a second time.

Are you sure you have all of the rest of your settings right? I'm talking about your SKSE.ini and ENBoost settings.

https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6726-common-ctds-freezes-ils-and-memory-issues/

https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost#Recommendations

I have all the settings in enblocal.ini

as for \Skyrim\Data\SKSE\SKSE.ini

I followed this https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender to create one as it was not there

and double checked it with the page you posted to me and all looks good.

I just cant get passed the ILS unless I alt ctrl del and sign out.

Some settings cannot be changed mid-game, notably ugrids. Please locate your backups and restore your previous uGridsToLoad setting, if different. If it is not that setting, please provide before and after ini files so I can point out the problematic setting.

Vanilla settings:

Skyrim.iniSkyrimPrefs.ini

Settings I use with SpINI:

Skyrim.iniSkyrimPrefs.ini

First time uploading files, Hope I did it right.

I am going to bed for the night as it is 2 am here. will check tomorrow. Also wanted to note that I  tried the settings with ENB unchecked to start with and it did not work so I tried with ENB checked to no avail.

In other words, are you saying that I can safely leave ENB mode unchecked for all subsequent launches of spINI after I have set the inis to ENB mode for the first time?

I would always check it. However, this brings to my attention a bug in my code that if you set ENB Mode first, it can be overwritten by the presets. This was because of a major code rewrite I did that I forgot about this possibility. So, you're going to want to make sure you check ENB Mode after using any preset buttons (Low, High, Default, etc.).

If using ENB, always make sure you check ENB Mode.

Well, it isn't any particular INI setting if those are the INIs. Have you setup the Sheson memory patch (the SKSE heap memory tweaks) via SKSE.ini and verified they are working? The changes made probably are causing higher memory usage, which would cause you to reach the vanilla block limit sooner.

Are you referring to the instructions here:

Then yes, these settings are setup. If not then consider me a noob at this.
