Well it replaces my normal map with vanilla in Windhelm? It's a mesh problem.

But this should not be the case because my files are loose, and if i remember correctly loose files have a privilege?

You'll need to fill out a bug report at their website. They fixed this on several meshes a few releases ago that they had absolute paths set or something that was causing texture replacers to not work properly. File a report and they will most likely fix it.

Well actually the problem was Water mod. It includes vanilla normal map for one Windhelm texture. I have totally forgot about this?

But thanks guys anyway.

So were you able to see your texture after changing your install order (or priority order if using MO)?

"Water", meaning Sparrow's mod? If you can name that texture, maybe we can check and mention this to him, especially if it is an unaltered vanilla normal that somehow snuck into his mod.

No, you don't need to do nothing. There were some leftovers form earlier Water mods, so thats the problem. I didn't touch Skyrim for a long time, so i have forgot about this.

I also like to experiment with loose files  ::):

Here is part 1:

https://www.moddb.com/mods/skyrim-realistic-overhaul/downloads

Moddb doesn't allow files bigger then 2.8gb, so i must upload 3 parts.

This first part contains architecture textures except Windhelm.

Today i'm gonna upload the rest.

Skyrim Realistic Overhaul 1.7

==================================================================

-Mod contains 10gb of high quality 2048k/4096k textures. It drastically increase quality while keeping artistic look of original textures.
-Since it has over 1500 textures and many are 4096k, it is recommended to have minimum graphic card with 3gb of video memory.
-This version is for Special Edition of Skyrim.

Installation:

-Extract data folder into your Skyrim installation and overwrite.

Recommendation:

-Disable snow shader in game since it only makes textures look worse.

Content:

-Architecture
-Clutter
-Dawnguard
-Dragonborn
-Dungeons
-Effects
-Furniture
-Landscape
-Lod
-Plants
-Terrain
