yet another question, regarding SMC... are we supposed to download every single mod listed in black in the "XQ" section? for instance, for the 83willows101bugs it says both

AND

am i supposed to pick one or download both?

Just like main guide only has one patch now so do ectv and smc now only have one patch now.

 

Regarding which ones to download...Please make sure you read IN DETAIL the SMC mod page... all questions are pretty much anwered there.  This one is answered under INSTALLATION PART2: GETTING THE MODS

Had the same issue. I redirected that plugin with Wrye Bash to have the latter as a master and everything seems okay in my game. You can wait for someone to confirm if it's an okay thing to do though.

good idea, but looking at the load order JD just posted earlier he has both Settlements Expanded.esp and Settlements Expanded with Inns Merged.esp, so something has changed...

Sorry, I had to re-make my ectv crpatch because I was helping someone do ECTV without inns.. Just use the current ectv patch in the guide.. it'll work fine.  forgot about that.  Ignore the extra settlements expanded.esp in my load order

 

I'm not currently using the requiem guide in my playthrough so I hadn't gotten around to putting my copy back to normal.

ok then. so I've been running around the world for a nit and I've been noticing more than a few purple textures, so i used MFG console to get the mod causing it, and i was referred to LECM Merged. when i open Xedit i see this sililar kind of thing for each of the formID's

So, i realized that i used v1.0 of Y.A.L.O. when SMC calls for 1.1.

 

short of finding 1.1, (which seems impossible to me at least) could i just remove the alternate naming scheme in Xedit?

(or maybe a fine gentleman has Y.A.L.O. 1.1 and would be nice enough to PM me) NOT ASKING FOR IT because thats against the rules

Just reporting back to say i found what i needed and my missing texture problem is solved. the game looks gorgeous. I'm going to screw around in game like this for a while until the WSLO section gets updated so i can use the requiem realistic darkness + CoT + Phinix combo

The instructions for the WLSO configuratin you're mentioning are a couple pages back including screenshots of left/right side before merge.

Hmm... I know I made the post at one point in here including this link https://www.dropbox.com/sh/su184875tgrrofd/AACYFFXh6xAv9U-0ezU6ifena but I'll be damned if I see it now..

 

In either case refer to that link.. ignore the two out of order FSP plugins.. everythign else is accurate.  You just need the mods that are checked in the screenshot of the left side.. in that order.  Post merge leave CoT enabled since it has an ESM file + assets.

 

Arrange the plugins as you see in the rightside screen shot.. merge it up and give it a try.  I highly recommend editing the 1200 range lantern in Wearable Lanterns to have the same stats as the torch record in RRD... I included a screenshot showing the changes that should be applied...  In game in the Wearable Lanterns MCM just select teh 1200 range version.

 

Additionally you need the enb download from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24235/?

 

Check bleakfalls barrow interior.. with and without torches.. make sure to run down the tunnels in both cases.. Check outside at night.. etc.  You should find it to be basically perfectly lit.  When you think you're hidden in a shadow you're really hidden in a shadow...

 

It's quite glorious and I won't be playing any other way in the future.  You can try other ENBs with that load out just ensure that they don't blow out the lighting.. If they make thing smuch darker or much brighter.. or mess around with eye adaptation.. it'll ruin the effect.

There is a small oversight in the CR patch regarding the Nordic Greatsword. It has the already reqtified keyword from BtC but only the base stats from KFR so it's way too weak. BtC stats need to be forwarded as well. Users can just drag & drop the values in xEdit until jd updates the patch.

IIRC I used KFR as the baseline for all balancing and reverted BtC stats.. I probably missed removal of the already reqtified keyword is all.  I'd have to look again to be sure though.
