Nebulous112 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) It looks like the file structure part of those instructions didn't get updated when the name did. It should read something like this: Rearchive the Skyrim Redesigned folder and rename it Skyrim Redesigned-8954-1-0. (This is so MO will add in the Nexus ID and version.) The file structure should be: Skyrim Redesigned-8954-1-0.7z\[34 individual folders].EDIT: Grammatical and punctuation changes. Edited November 30, 2015 by Nebulous112
GrantSP Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I have a question about installing this mod, specifically this step: I suspect I just don't understand something very basic about archiving files. How does one rename it to Skyrim Redesigned-8954-1-0 but end up with a file without the -1-0 in it?There are a couple of steps described in the wiki that need to be completed. You need to download not only the original file but also the FOMOD file and temporarily extract BOTH of them. Then move or copy the FOMOD folder into the folder structure of the Skyrim Redesigned mod. This the part where it mentions 34 individual folders instead of the original 33 from Skyrim Redesigned. What you should have now is a folder structure with Skyrim Redesigned as the top level and 34 folders underneath it including the fomod folder.Using whichever archiving tool you have, 7zip is a very good one to have, compress this folder structure and name accordingly. The wiki says to name that way because that naming convention allows MO to see the Nexus ID: Skyrim Redesigned-8954-1-0 and the version number: Skyrim Redesigned-8954-1-0 The actual process of naming the archive is handled by you using whichever tool you have.
TechAngel85 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I finally talked Dracomies into uploading the FOMOD I put together for this mod. Much easier installation now. I've update the instructions on the wiki page. Happy modding!
Jarda Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 The SSE version of the mod includes these two files: "textures\objects\lockpicking\skeletonkeylockpicking.dds" "textures\objects\lockpicking\skeletonkeylockpicking_n.dds" The vanilla textures which this mod is supposed to replace are located at: "textures\interface\objects\lockpicking\skeletonkeylockpicking.dds" "textures\interface\objects\lockpicking\skeletonkeylockpicking_n.dds" It's missing \interface\ in the path. Not a big deal, I'm just pointing out because we can adjust ourselves instead of just have the files sitting there without being loaded ingame. 2

Thanks for the heads up. have you reported this to the author?

I don't want to sound rude and make the impression that I'm demanding stuff, but if you feel like reporting yourself I totally agree and I am very grateful.
