When you get started modding following a guide you never appreciate how much time it takes to do it half way correctly. One Afternoon turns into a holiday weekend turns in a week turns into a fortnight. Until you've been doing it for months and you realize that the game ctds every 20 minutes and you don't know why and yet you still download an extra dungeon because you still want you're next hit. Even though at the rate you're going you wont get to that cave until 2025!

I got like 12 hours into F:NV in about 8 months of serious modding. I also came to despise carriages and helgen until I finally realized what LAL did.

Ohh ok then. just to be safe I'll stick to the medium graphics setting for the texture kids. The vram test confused me then. Hopefully I can at least get 20-30 fps but we shall see. I think the 4gb loader enboost and the 7.7 gb of accessible ram will pull me through till the nice computer comes in. I used to have a stronger computer as a loaner which met step requirements but ended up getting 15-20 in skyrim and that made me pretty paranoid. Also as is clear I'm not super computer literate. Anyway there's my v log I guess.

Serious question 1760mb of dx9 vram is enough for Fear and loathing right? I know it's not enough for step I think but the whole nomenclature is arcane.
