Lighting/weather mods generally should not be mixed for several reasons, but they likely could be in certain configurations. That is beyond STEP though. -

No.Then I see no reason not to use it ... as long as it is not a performance hit and does not stick out like a sore thumb. Details matter, no? Any other reasons not to use? The more STEP grows the more mods that are going to be used and the more VRAM/RAM in turn. I see this mod as "not needed" and simply adds to the users who are already with limited VRAM...not to mention the 3GB cap that some are hitting. If this is added to STEP, I'll just simply pass it up though. I'm on a 1GB limit with my VRAM and adding unnecessary mods that make no noticeable difference from my point of view is a waste of that precious memory on my end.Definitely a good point; however, this mod may not add even a single MB to VRAM ... ? I am inclined, regardless, to keep this one and the plethora of other mods much like this that are already in STEP in mind for Extreme STEP. If we don't consider this one appropriate for Baseline, then several others should go onto the chopping block as well. -

Good to know that it was not the Semantic syntax or a coding error. Just a refresh error. Maybe we should make it a habit to rebuild SMW after each update ... ?

The patcher needs to be run regardless so it can setup objects for the base game and any DLCs installed. I have support packs for all mods in STEP that majorly affect meshes (Elemental Staffs and De-LARP-ification). Many Skeletons are available currently that support the mod but main suggested one is XP32 Maximum Skeleton back hip dagger version along with the Magic-Shield arm patch for non-fnis users(since STEP does not currently use FNIS). OK. Could you post a new thread for each of the mods that STEP must incorporate to support this one? We'll need to accept these as a group and create a new mod page for each. We may even need a blurb on SkyProc in the STEP Guide (which I'm sure I can scavenge from your guide). Either way, I'd like input from Farlo, s4n and/or TC before accepting this assortment. We may also need to postpone incorporation into STEP if accepted, depending.

As long as we see no conflicts with current STEP mod assortment ... and no expected future conflicts (or at lease Neo's support if there ever are). Then I can get behind this one. Wanting Neo's confirmation before accepting ... will need the mod page created of course (by Neo or someone else just as familiar with all details).

I don't see the purple sky effect in your screens. I believe that this is the way it is supposed to look. ENB helps though. Kelmych, can you confirm?

Performance cost? Contrast with face textures in STEP? (we don't want too much of a diff in quality)Maybe some screens with full STEP install?Mellow yellow option seems best. -
I have to say that I am uncertain as to the real benefit other than it seems to "fix" some hardware-specific problems ... unintentionally. I take it that this is not plugin reliant? Pros/cons?

Another no-brainer accept for adding to the plugin limit... also, we want to be sure that all replacements are decent. For example: "Sleeping while trespassing will get me caught for sure!" is not something that I would say to myself :P I prefer "Sleeping here would be very stupid." -
Seems like a no-brainer to me. Just post up the screens showing vanilla and the additional variants that this mod brings to meet our "testing" requirement.

My only problem with mods of this sort are that we are potentially using a plugin slot for a very limited effect, however beneficial. It is a no-brainer at the moment, but this is the sort of mod that will be among the first "cuts" when STEP begins dancing with plugin limits .... The answer would be to combine all such mods into a single STEP plugin at some future point. Still need confirmation that this plays nicely with all other STEP mods ... any conflicts? -
DISCLAIMER: I have not tested this mod or read through this thread thoroughly! Again, what are the pros/cons of this mod and why is it important for STEP? Please update the OP with this info and any "testing" data.

DISCLAIMER: I know next to nothing about this mod, and I have NOT read this thread! My only concern about this one is that it has a lot of ancillary requisites (based on what WI says on the Devel Thread). Simplicity is important, so I'd like to discuss the simplest way to implement this in STEP and also summarize (on the OP of this thread) exactly why this is a good addition to STEP ... what are the pros/cons?
