  1. It seems like this may be a go. I'll want this one seconded by one of the other admin though ;)
  2. A minor inconvenience, but would be worth an edit maybe. I think that we should tentatively accept this one if WI intends to carry on USP changes (which he has done with this other mods pretty consistently)
  3. So it is written, so it shall be done.
  4. Nice review torminater. Much appreciated! I am inclined to keep this one in testing phase indefinitely until some of the DLC changes are incorporated. Still worth the wait though.
  5. Imageur does not like us ... do you have a DropBox account? That works very nicely using the "copy shortcut" context menu option. If you want one, let me know and I'll send you and invite ... that gives us both extra space ;)
  6. @torminater Could you uninstall all non-STEP mods and try to reproduce ... particularly ASIS? Thanks for posting the vid (will watch when I am not at work :P ) and for all of the detailed analysis.
  7. Yep, thanks for the screens, Eliian ... Given WI's assessment, I am inclined to vouch for NOT using either Proper or Deadly. Vanilla HD is what I will be using from here on out. Although, I think that it is a given that CaBal's rendition will be the best quality when he finishes. Anyone adamantly disagree with this?
  8. I agree that this mod uses ultra-ridiculous resolution ... the alternative is intriguing. Could someone create that thread in MS and post some screen compares?
  9. I live in the middle of no where in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, sadly. At this point though I could have just drove an hour to the nearest one. But since I've all ready purchased the thermal paste, may as well wait on its eventual arrival. On that note, haven't checked the mail yet today! I need to get on that. After all these decades, finally got my mom into Doctor Who. She really liked David Tennant and was sad at his departure. :3 A lovely place to live though ... are you in a holler? Do you have a still? :P I spent some time in the SM about 15 years ago. The kudzu was really bad, so I hope they are putting it down.
  10. OK, I discovered that the lighting in Review Studio is problematic and waaaaay too bright, overexposing anything examined therein. Therefore, I have created another screenshot compare that I will simply post here: The first 6 examples are custom, multi-color options. The final 3 are a more differentiated proxy to the vanilla color scheme. I will repackage the mod with these optional presets:
  11. If the Open Cities thread is already in MS, this should be merged. Otherwise, it should be moved there ;)
  12. I suppose I should have clarified the context of my statement ... and you have supplied a lot of relevant testing data to be sure. Especially appreciated are plugin conflict details provided mostly by you ahd Kelmych .. and screen compares provided by rootsrat, PopReference and a few others
  13. Agree on all additions to the OP.
  14. Until these issues are fixed or patched, this mod should not be included in STEP. The first bullet point seems like a major "oops" on the author's part....which make me wonder if he was even playing on a patched game when he made this mod as that should been noticed in TESVedit or the CK.Agree.
  15. Thanks Tech. Good checklist, and exactly what this kind of mod needs as far as testing goes. Sometimes little mods like this are much more tedious to test. This is a third-person mod only, correct?
  16. I do see the relationship now of this mod to the INI edits, etc. Due to the fact that there is no plugin, and the alt + F4 function is marginally useful to some ... and the *coincidental* effect of fixing certain KB functionality, I can get behind this; however, it leads me to rethink SKSE plugins as "mods" in the mod list. I can see the benefit of consolidating all SKSE plugins under Extenders (Se are missing that section as it is). Let me discuss backstage and get back to you all.
  17. Thanks Eliian. We appreciate this kind of community feedback ;)
  18. Sec D seems right to me, as this takes care of a missing feature, IMO. Could you add the imperative install notes? If your recommendations span more than two lines, you can check "Enable Detailed Instructions" and place the notes in there. Also, if you could enable the Gallery and add links to any images you have on the Nexus, that would be great. Thanks!
  19. Just looking for a definitive confirmation from Farlo or anyone else familiar enough with the *problem*
  20. Proper is better than vanilla (thanks for posting the screens to prove that), but we want to compare with Deadly Serious.
  21. @mobias See this post.
