  1. I am going to defer to the TES5Edit experts around here to confirm, but my guess is that this is not necessary, since we no longer recommend using the SMIM plugin; however, it may still be a relevant patch for the USP now. Not sure.
  2. Let's give him a shout-out and some thanks. Can anyone verify that this one is good-to-go?
  3. Based on those articles, DeLARP is pretty close to reality I suppose. Maybe just a tad too thin in the case of the two-handed sword tech posted. Maybe a 50% increase in width would be better for DeLARP, but it is not bad as it stands now.
  4. No, it's just a extra ESP, and it dosen't overwrite any files from the Paarthurnax Dilemma.@deadlyrythm & joshkopeRemember that "load" order is not the same as "install" order. The first corresponds to "override" (an implicit conflict ... when changes from one plugin affect the same targets as those from another plugin in-game) and the second corresponds to "overwrite" (an explicit conflict ... when one asset replaces another in the file system). BOSS manages implicit plugin conflicts, and STEP install order manages explicit resource conflicts. ... so it doesn't matter if one is in Sec D and the other in Sec M of STEP install order.
  5. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2692/? It has been updated and Ichibu has joined the community for direct input.
  6. Agree, that is about a third of the thickness of what it should be ... especially for a broadsword. I'd like to look more closely at other examples.
  7. I noticed he said that but there are multiple more meshes in the Distant Decal Fix than in the USKP right now.As for the SMIM esp... I looked and the USKP does in fact make it fully obsolete. However, the TernFix esp for Dragonborn is NOT obsolete. So to confirm, the SMIM ESP is NOT needed in STEP? Let's take a look ...
  8. I like Opt 6 I suppose, but any would work for me ... tough to choose. For STEP, I recommend Vanilla Proxy 1.Agree for STEP Proxy 1 looks best. Waiting for the NMM Installer before updating. The built in BAIN installer for Mod Organizer doesn't use Wizards so I have no clue what the settings are. lolJust open up wizard.txt and look. The recipe is right up top ;) I'll add in the new textures for the NMM installer, but will need someone to test, as I don't use it (and there is no way to include a preset with that installer, as it is written in C# I think, and I am only able to add the options, but not any more advanced logic).
  9. Nice evaluation, Tech! I think that both PW and Water are definite improvements over vanilla, particularly with regard to water-land transitions. I have to say though that PW is slightly more interesting and realistic to me in all cases, particularly the ocean. Snow-melt water in mountainous regions is very crisp and clear, and there is very little silt. Cloudiness should be more apparent in the lowlands and flatter regions (waters in The Rift are a good example). How about some underwater and water-air transitions of each? What about performance diffs?
  10. You simply need to check the little box to enable detailed instructions. I defer to the other admins regarding adding this one. It seems fine to me though.
  11. This one seems to be getting fairly well tested and the *bug* seems trivial now that we have detailed context. Are there any outstanding issues in anyone's opinion?
  12. Thanks guys. It looks like this one will make it into STEP at this rate ... just need a mod page created with as much accurate detail as possible.
  13. Thanks for posting this thread DC!
  14. Good postulate for testing ... however, I am liking the smile HD mod a lot, and that should be a contender for this round too. No performance testing necessary for that one, but Realistic teeth MUST be vetted as performance neutral or fair trade-off.
  15. I think that it is an improvement (thanks again, Eliian) Any seconds?
  16. Could one of the persons testing this mod create the mod page please? TIA
  17. I still need to play it to determine if it is a fix or an enhancement. It may become core sooner or later.
  18. I like Opt 6 I suppose, but any would work for me ... tough to choose. For STEP, I recommend Vanilla Proxy 1.
  19. I'll update the OP with some changes according to some of the previous comments.... tomorrow!
  20. Ditto. Mods must be vetted in Mod Suggestions before they apply here.
  21. Actually, the intro of the WB guide explicitly states as a prerequisite to using the guide that the reader should review the official WB documentation to understand the basics of what WB does and how ... as well as reference for specifics (like text/text-background colors, symbol shapes/colors, etc). ;) The WB guide is meant as a STEP installation guide using WB, not so much as a WB how-to. It details installer management at a much more detailed level than the official doc. It would be redundant to add what is already well documented in the official doc.
  22. As I don't play thn 3rd person, I don't really have an opinion on this one. It seems like a decent add with tracking-while-moving disabled. I defer to the other admin to approve.
  23. Thanks once again torm (@ community, this is how MT is done ;) ) I agree and am comfortable approving this one tentatively.
  24. Good assessment torm. I too would request some slight modifications to some of the thought text, but overall it is an improvement, so i think that this one gets in. Admin seconds?
