I can verify that this only replaces WAV assets with better sounds. I personally prefer the "more barks" version.

It's on this page' date=' the one with all of the STEP mods for 2.2.4. The notes link to two BCFs, one that has no file linked to it which is just listed as BCF Available, and then one next to it listed as BCF Available (Updated for v2.2), and that one does have a file linked.[/quote'] I will defer to s4n on this. Maybe Farlo can fix as well. I am not familiar enough with the parser functions used in Template:BCFLink (this is the source of the problem I think).
-
Ahh, you are looking for a wizard when there is not a wizard available. Our BCF simply configures the STEP defaults and drops the rest. To learn how to write wizards, Just grab one and read it. Then look at the WB Tech Ref for instructions on wizards.
-
I mean the file downloaded from the Nexus. That goes into Bash Installers\ unmodified. The BCF goes into Bash Installers\Bain Converters\
-
If you are using the correct source file for Skyrim Redesigned, and you are applying the BCF you downloaded from this site, then it should work fine. Otherwise, you should delete: Skyrim Mods\Bash Installers\Bash\Converters.dat, close WB, re-open, ... and try again.

Good feedback ... could you comment on each of the respective mod threads so that we have these insights on those threads? Thanks! PS: I will be perusing the MS forum today or tomorrow and stickying additional candidates. We still have a few left over from the previous iteration that did not seem to get vetted conclusively. Remember, there will be nothing new to release unless we foster more community involvement in providing quality feedback, testing results, screenshot compares and/or creating the respective wiki mod pages as per the new STEP Workflow Guide mentioned in the OP and on the main forum Announcement.

... or you can right click the header on the Mods tab and select Load > All to select all mods. Also, you can highlight any number of mods using [Ctrl + L-mouse] and move them up or down the mod order list just as is done on the Installers tab ;)

Updated OP, please follow the link ;)

Thanks for taking the time to report these and add in some of the detail here. I will be working on an announcement regarding the immediate future of STEP, which needs to get even more organized in order to function as the community-driven initiative that we intend. We admin have been slacking a bit lately with regard to helping our members help the project. There is a lot to be done with regard to maintaining STEP, and it needs to be simplified in order to facilitate more participation. More later!

Mod Testers For replacers, the test case should be a high-quality screenshot compare. We don't need a lot, just two or three sets of compares on the thread in Mod Suggestions (MS) marked [ TESTING ]. For non-replacers, please head over to MS and read the stickies prior to posting. Then go into the testing thread and contribute some test ideas or some of your own test results. The idea is that testing --and logging of that activity on the threads-- will be touch & go for a lot of mods, and it should be pretty clear by anyone stumbling upon any mod thread what the end result is. Let us know if you want to be a Mod Tester!

BUG REPORTS ONLY PLEASE! Please post any bugs or issues that you think may be related to this release on this thread. Those issues will be fixed, if possible, in the next STEP update. Progress on the next STEP release can be found in this forum. Make sure to check back often for updates!

ACCEPTED Skyrim Project Optimization (by rgabriel15)
z929669 replied to Besidilo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
OK, I see now that "No Homes" version is to support those using mods that change cells that may conflict with those interiors. Not necessary for STEP -

Since there are multiple versions of this and very little information on which to install and why, we'll need some feedback on the recommended installation asap. I am assuming full version and that with homes includes Hearthfire support ... ? Can anyone verify? -
DROPPED Mystery Modders Shrines HD (by Mystery Modder)
z929669 replied to Jorus's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
OK, I'll add Shrines HD then. It is close enough to vanilla. -
DROPPED More Village Animals (by Michele Angelo)
z929669 replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have seen the steer drop down and crush most of the chickens to death. -
Updated OP If any changes other than what is currently in the OP should be made to the guide, let me know so that I can addit to the OP and the changelog (i.e., INI edits, etc)

SKYRIMLE [ LIGHTING FIX ] Relighting Skyrim - Dawnguard Edition by --JawZ--
z929669 replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I am playing with this, but not really testing anything right now. Just using my current STEP build to work on specific mods and the project. Therefore, I cannot give this one a "go ahead" at this point. Considering that this mod has (IMO) has four separate components ... Base RSUpdate v5OLSE for Update v5Dawnguard BETA... we should hold out for a more integrated solution that is the post-collaborative result of the two authors' work. Or at least a lot more testing and feedback. -
ACCEPTED Improved Horse Step Sounds (by Crystan)
z929669 replied to Painstouch's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
@Farlo or anyone else Unless you report back the OK on this mod definitively not being the cause of the existing *issues*, this one won't make it into this weekend's release. -
DROPPED Unique Region Names (by Thingy Person)
z929669 replied to blacksol's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Looks like nothing regarding recent testing data against STEP. Since I have not run it myself, I cannot vouch for it. This one is out unless a few people can provide some testing results. -

This one will be in this weekend's release as a Performance option if nobody counters. -
you need to: set the current filter by clicking on the "Apply" buttonclick the green checkmark or the rex x-box to run a new pass over the datathe result will include only what appears on the Filter now.Keep in mind that there are a couple of other settings (Settings menu): Skip existing filesSkip older filesSkip hidden filesThese will also filter according to those properties. In this way, you have almost complete control over the result, even if you use the wrong filter, re-running data with the correct filter applied will overwrite accordingly. Of course, you cannot take back changes, so the original overwritten file states cannot be recovered (if there happen to be any that aren't in the current source), but your can play with all of the available file states that exist in the current source file and return the desired results in many roundabout ways.
