It does not add entries at will. It adds default entries when a new version introduce new entries. If you delete something it will be re-added at its default value. It is a good behaviour that prevent you to delete important functionality. As for the screenshot functionality ENB does it better as it doesn't forget itself in the screenshot but if you still want to get rid of it just delete the number key not the whole line :)

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Redferne replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I just downloaded the 2.3 Patch. Is it intended that ETaC - Dragon Bridge South.esp is not in the pack anymore? If it is, the wiki page still says to not install ETaC - Dragon Bridge South.esp. Otherwise great job even if I only use the ETaC patches. I'll probably add more mod of the pack when I resolve my stuterring issues. -
Stripes on textures - mainly after a certain distance
Redferne replied to oqhansoloqo's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Unfortunately you won't completely get rid of shadow stripping unless you use the ENB shadow feature. You can find in Nexus some mod that corrects the light sources to get rid of some of them but they don't cover all of them. -
I'm using it with the dynamic loot patches and so far it works great. My only advice would be to diminish the loot rate because it is a little to high. Otherwise it's great. I like finding enchanted stuff from my other mods.

In MO setting last tab, change NMM version to 0.47.3
-
It is possible but I never used it. It didn't exist when I went from NMM to MO almost two years ago :)
-
Right click on the file before you install it and update the information and MO will create the appropriate meta data by looking in the file's name (of course if you renamed the file it won't work). If it is confused it will open a window asking you to select the proper file from a list of what it thinks the file could be.
-
Because I have so many files downloaded through NMM. Is there a way to transfer all these files from the Nexus Mod Manager directory to the Mod Organizer directory?Just point the download directory of MO to the download directory of NMM.

Latest Skyrim Unofficial Patches and Mod Organizer
Redferne replied to Kuldebar's question in Mod Organizer Support
I started to unpack the BSA when I realized that I wanted to remove some texture from certain mod but still want it to override some from other mod. That's when I became a MO addict :) But yes otherwise BSA are fine too, I didn't want to imply that it is necessarily better or mandatory. Actually if you don't want or need that particular level of control over your mods you should keep with BSA you will gain the few seconds of unpacking when installing a mod. -
Latest Skyrim Unofficial Patches and Mod Organizer
Redferne replied to Kuldebar's question in Mod Organizer Support
Yes you should unpack as soon as you understand that you will have to also order your mods in the left panel of MO. Otherwise just order them the same way BOSS ordered them in the right panel. -
ACCEPTED FileAccess Interface for Skyrim Script - FISS (by Lord Conti)
Redferne replied to statmonster's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thanks statmonster. I found the problem. The preset 1 in Dynamic Potion is not empty and so you don't have the option to save only the option to load. I changed to preset 2 and I could save normally. I guess if I delete preset 1 I should be able to save in it after. I really hope more mods included this. -

Could you tell me how you made it work? I can see the preset in Dynamic Potion but I can't save my settings. Could it be because of MO? Thanks :) -
DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
Redferne replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Ok, so overhauls will continue to work that is a good thing. But we will need a save without the loop as expected sadly. -

Did you use the "Cloak of souls" spell from the mod?Yes with the spell that auto cast spells at the beginning of a fight. But I actually capture no souls during that time. -

Redferne replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
That just means some other modder will have to come along and make something better! That would be nice even if the existing one are already really good. I used Empowered Magic, Mighty Magic, The Third Race Overhaul, Better Magic and Balanced Magic (yeah pretty much tried them all :) ), my favourite are TTRO, Mighty Magic and Empowered Magic. Apocalypse has the problem, I can confirm it sadly. -
DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
Redferne replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Considering that mostly all magic overhaul on Nexus are discontinued or paused, it means that with one change the USKP team broke them all... I really hope that won't be the case. -

This is bad, so bad... Does reseting the cells where we passed could solve the problem once a fix is released? -

What can you do once you discover you have the bug? Do we know if it is revertable or the saves are doomed (yeah I played several hours today before discovering the issue here)? -
Magic overhaul recommendations
Redferne replied to Crimson13's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I'm a fan of Mighty Magic but now I'm trying TheThirdRace Skill Overhaul wich look very interesting an light weight. And I like what the author did for the staves. -

Apocalypse only add spells. The only scaling option you'll find in MCM is for its own spells. -

Ah sorry I missread. You have to put it in skyrim/data/SKSE/plugins folder but it should works in MO (I'm using it and it works perfectly).
