Well you can just make a character, then remove all clothing from the character, open the console and type showracemenu and remake your character. Make sure you have disable face gen cache installed on the Race Menu page and be indoors. EDIT: Also, you should seriously consider using Mod Organizer or Wrye Bash to install and uninstall mods. STEP does not support the use of NMM because it is lacking in important features that are needed for maintaining a modded game with lots of mods.

SKYRIMLE Realistic Lighting Overhaul (by The Realistic Lighting Team)
EssArrBee replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Skyrim Project Optimization addresses this and adds in planes to interiors that need it. With really powerful rigs it does not help that much, but with medium to low end rigs it can help in certain areas quite a bit. -
ACCEPTED Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - HD textures (by skyrimaguas)
EssArrBee replied to FCqt's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I really don't like the less saturated version at all, it reminds me of the people that live in the desert for to long and have dried out hair. The first set of compares tech did really brings that out, and the current STEP mods were the best of that bunch, the second and third set it looked like the regular Superior were the best, but they just don't line up with the game. -
Tapioks does the Enhanced Shaders ENB for both FNV and Skyrim. I'd link it, but the nexus seems to be uncooperative this afternoon.

Plugings - Mods restart every load
EssArrBee replied to razanon's question in General Skyrim LE Support
We might need to see your load order, but no I don't think that anyone has heard of this type of problem. My guess would be that it is something related to the way your games saves, since it seems that your stats for quests and plugins aren't getting put into your saves. -
Actually that is a mix of using a SkyProc Patcher with Wrye Bash bug. I had that same problem, maybe go back and manually install all the python binaries one by one, they are on the WB page, then reinstall WB again. If that doesn't work go back to WB 303, few less features in the bashed patch, but it was less buggy.

What mod manager are you using to install everything? And did you just leave the unrecognized plugins from BOSS at the tail end because they need to sorted manually or you can create rules for them with the edit user rules button.

i use the phinix profile sometimes too but the latest profile/update im seeing from him is for the 13.7.13 binary and not the 0.193 binaryI guess he already removed it. Maybe he found some problems or Boris removed the binary, not sure. I kinda want Tapioks to update his ENB now so I can try that one, he usually takes his time on updates though.

CTD on load screen trying to enter dawnstar sanctuary
EssArrBee replied to winflakes's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yeah, I even tried deleting my entire ini and letting a new one generate. It was a nightmare and I couldn't figure it out. I eventually tried so many times to get through the door with two different playthroughs that I got in. I'm pretty sure it was just a fluke, so I saved didn't leave the mine till I did everything inside. -
So after playing around a bit, I think that Boris worked out most of the issues and my VRAM is now higher than system RAM by quite a bit. 700 MB in some places. There is a performance hit, and I experienced around 10 FPS across the board while outdoors, but running around Dragonsreach seemed to be okay. In SPM my chart showed something that was very good and that was the consistent drops in both RAM and VRAM when going through a load door, especially when going from a city space to the Skyrim worldspace.

I guess Boris found out what was wrong and uploaded v193. I just saw Phinix Natural in my updated files and noticed it it is using the new version, that was quick. I'm going to try it out see if works.

CTD on load screen trying to enter dawnstar sanctuary
EssArrBee replied to winflakes's question in General Skyrim LE Support
RAven Rock Mine affected me even with the number at default, so I don't think that door is really going to change. I used to get a huge spike in RAM and VRAM the second I would try to enter that door and it would only take about two seconds to crash. I tried all kinds of things to get it to work that I can't even remember how I fixed it, but I know that the iLargeIntRefCount wasn't it. -
Anything that ends in '_n.dds' is a normal map.

The current STEP recommended ini tweak is iLargeIntRefCount=131072. We lowered it a while back because of what you were saying. -
If I DDSopt my textures, can I skip the HRDLC in step 2.F. ?
EssArrBee replied to KiloWatts's question in DDSopt Support
I thought we were up to pre release 5? Is no one else using that? Does it matter? I find that the older .7.3 release is slow compared to the newer versions. Almost twice as fast if you ask me. -

EssArrBee replied to KiloWatts's question in DDSopt Support
I'm almost sure that it's one of the solid color textures, like black.dds or something. Open your textures folder and look for the textures that are just named after color (black, white,...) and delete them. See if that works. -
The nexus is pretty much getting hammered by DDoS attacks so just give it time. It worked for me but took about 2 minutes to load.
-
I'd say the last two versions were pretty bug free. I played through 1.7 twice and I see that 1.8 added a bunch of new stuff, so I'm going to try it again after Falskaar. The voice acting in Wyrmstooth is decent so I hope Flaskaar is at least that good. I glad to see some big content mods coming out now that Skyrim is about 18 months old.
-
Nope I was going to try that after trying to get SkyProc to work with a fresh install. I wasn't using extracted BSAs before and now I am, also worth noting that I install the extracted BSAs with MO.
-
For me it works with the extracted BSAs and it doesn't work with the just the BSAs in the data directory. My mods don't get the Skyrim and Update.esm error though, mine is for the DLC ESMs.
-
Well with Wet and cold we now have the back packs and chesko's moves the quiver horizontal at the base of the back, so there isn't clipping.
-
It doesn't say to do that so I wouldn't. Relev means that there are items already in the leveled lists that a mod is going to make changes to, Immersive creatures isn't changing anything in level lists just adding new stuff which is fine. Tagging it Relev means that those changes are inherited by the bashed patch so that those changes take effect since the bashed patch is loaded at the end of the load order. I'd be surprised if these mods weren't already tagged, if not though maybe ask Will about it or post that the author said it needed to be done in the Beth forums for BOSS.

EssArrBee replied to KiloWatts's question in DDSopt Support
Yeah and then you can leave the HRDLC esps UNCEHCKED or move the esps for the HRDLC into the same folder you put the bsas. -

EssArrBee replied to KiloWatts's question in DDSopt Support
I don't move the bsa out of my data directory except for the HRDLC ones. I use the 7z files through WB on top of the bsas because I think they are required.
