MO handles conflicts too. Wrye Bash is useful for a bashed patch but you can install with MO and then start up WB and run the bashed patch. Just make sure you do the bashed patch before your skyproc stuff.

I think it is very evident that there is a problem with the buffer that Skyrim uses. With DirectX there is something like vertexbuffer() (at least I think thats what it is) that can allocate memory in VAS without it being overwritten until a parameter is met. It looks like some of that memory that is not being flagged to overwrite for whatever reason and it stacks until a crash or freeze. I'd say that a memory leak is not what Skyrim has though that is something that people have said, but a memory leak is more that you are loosing assets that are going to be called over and over. This seems to be keeping assets in memory past their usefulness.

Man that sucks guys, but I also saw that Amazon is trying to undercut Steam by offering all the stuff on the Steam sale for an extra 15% off just use the promo code GOONCAVE.
-
Well, that sucks. I just bought all the DLC yesterday at full price. Doh! :(You should email them and complain about it, they might give you your money back and then you can just buy it again at a discount.
-
The title pretty much says it all. Just letting everyone know in case you still need to pick the DLC for cheap. I even think the legendary edition is 40% off. Other games are on sale too, like Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition for $9. That's my recommendation if you don't already have it.

Well you can always extract the bsa and see if it has a script folder to look at how many scripts are in there. If it's just a couple then I'd imagine that it isn't doing much harm or it's just adjusting the already existing scripts. I always thought those to mods should be combined anyways since they do the same thing, one for dragons and one for vamps.

Best way to lower mod texture resolutions?
EssArrBee replied to andy4theherd's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yes I can't stress what root is saying enough, and please use the wiki guides to get started and then everyone at STEP is willing to answer any questions as we all use those programs. -
Best way to lower mod texture resolutions?
EssArrBee replied to andy4theherd's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Try installing the lower end resolution first as they will just overwrite the higher res ones. If that doesn't work for whatever reason then you may need a reinstall, but that shouldn't happen with textures. EDIT: What program are you using to install your mods? -
I've yet to come across a body replacer that doesn't have a never nude option. I haven't tried them all, but I've used all the most popular ones and they all have some kind of underwear body. UNP has a couple, the ones from UNP are bikinis though, and Exeter, who does the UNP meshes for clothes and armor has the vanilla underwear if you want that. There are plenty of other mods that add underwear back to the body replacers you just gotta look.

DROPPED Terrain Bump - Texture Pack (by SparrowPrince)
EssArrBee replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
No R5G6B5 is the format you save the texture in, then use DXT compression, which has native decompression support in any DX hardware for almost zero cost. Using other formats makes DXT screw up the quality of the texture. I believe that it doesn't really matter what format you save a normal map in if it's uncompressed. The process of resaving them in R5G6B5 was for the purpose of compressing them without loosing a lot of fidelity. -
We will have to redo the directions for installing these mods, and maybe even add a picture guide to the wiki page of these mods so that people have an easier time with them. I know what I'm doing with all these mods now, but I admit that I was a bit lost the first few times I tried to install them, took quite a bit of trial and error.

DROPPED Terrain Bump - Texture Pack (by SparrowPrince)

He's saying the modders should half the resolution on creation and forgo DXT compression. This is something that Sparrow has always practiced and I think is kind of an unwritten rule. -
ABT - Arrows and Bolts Tweaks by Kevkas This is the perfect mod for archers looking to adjust their Skyrim experience. It has a wide selection of choices for different archery characteristics such as damage multipliers, arrow speed, arrow recovery, arrow looting, and merchant arrow inventory. This mod also does the same thing for bolts for crossbows. It is already apart of Skyrim Revisited and would also be great for any STEP pack that focuses on weapons or gameplay. It also supports Dawnguard and Dragonborn, and has a BAIN and NMM/MO installer. My personal tweaks are +50% arrow and bolts damage, +50% arrow and bolts speed, and +100% merchant inventory. The one drawback is that it comes with quite a few esps, so if you are getting close to 255, it can require some merging.

SKYRIMLE Ultimate Spinning Arrows (by Palistov and Nofumasa)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'm surprised that Kevkas didn't implement this into his Arrows and Bolts Tweaks mod. It seemed like the perfct candidate for his quest to perfect archery customization. Has anyone done a suggestion for that mod yet? Seems like a good mod for a STEP pack, I'll have to do that right now. -
On the Constraints tab if the boxes are unchecked for that certain type of texture, say model space normals, then will DDSopt just skip that type of texture? I ask because going through each folder to uncheck the normal maps is a bit of a pain, so just unchecking everything except the tangent space normals and running it again would be preferred.

No we do not, the nexus is just the best place to acquire mods for Bethesda games. Sometimes the downloads from their site can get corrupted during the download, so you have to redownload that mod to get a non-corrupted file.
-
Redownload the 2k file, this something that is pretty common with larger files on the nexus.

DROPPED Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized (by Vano89)
EssArrBee replied to Farlo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
He updated the mod right after the HRDLC updated for the DG and DB, so I'm betting that Vano took care of it. -
Hmm... maybe 2.2.6a should have been released since there was also a few modifications for updated mods.
-
No they do not play a central role to gameplay, it's more about the look you are trying to achieve. UNP is a certain type of body and it requires certain meshes for the armors and clothes to work, which are the exeter mods in SR. The blessed body is about bigger boobs than the base UNP, and the textures are to give the bodies better look that the vanilla body textures. You can also use the UNP underwear body, it's an option in the UNP armors mod. Better Males sucks though so I'd skip that mod, maybe one day Robert's Males will be finished.

Me again...freezing this time
EssArrBee replied to Copywrite85's question in General Skyrim LE Support
There may be code written in the engine to support multi-threading, but if that code isn't utilized by anything then the effect might not work if it's turned on. You have Kobe, but he's just sitting on the bench. -
@AstralFire If you send z929669 a private message on th nexus, you can get a mod author tag here on the STEP Forums. I like the idea of rebalancing the shouts, I had been using Dragon Shouts Overhaul for a while, but the it wasn't so much for rebalancing as redoing the shouts. Added damage to shouts, reduced cooldown time, stuff like that. I'm going to give this a chance as it looks a bit more what I'm looking vanilla wise, now I just need to play a character past level 20.

Me again...freezing this time
EssArrBee replied to Copywrite85's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Immersive Patrols Merged.esp is really spamming my logs with some "DLC1VampireBeastRace on script zbloodnpc attached to Active effect 5 on (000DC5A4) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property". I don't think that new merged plugin jives that well with Enhanced Blood Textures. Might look into that, since I'm sure it was causing some freezes. -
