I thought this and the bird mod were getting dropped in favor of SkyBirds? I know there are some scripts in SkyBirds, but I don't think they've ever given me any problems and I've used that mod for a long time.

SKYRIMLE Automatic Variants (by Leviathan1753)
EssArrBee replied to Anosognos's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
AV is special as you first install the mod as you would any other mod, then you still have to run a SkyProc Patcher afterwards. It's much like Dual Sheath Redux. Install AV and the AV packs then run the SUM patcher after you are done installing all your mods. -
SKYRIMLE aMidianBorn Roads and Bridges by CaBaL
EssArrBee replied to statmonster's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I actually wish he'd do some of the creatures like he did for FNV, those were awesome. The centaur textures were just disgusting, made me want to kill them even more. -
ACCEPTED Dead Body Collision Fix (by LargeStyle)
EssArrBee replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Does it remove dragon corpses? Because they seem to follow me around sometimes. -
I don't know that the time period argument applies. If you consider that the Dwemer have been gone for thousands? of years and they have living robots more advanced than a Roomba*1000, then spiffy coins isn't a reach. I just think sometimes the comparison to Earth isn't very valid lore-wise.

ACCEPTED Dead Body Collision Fix (by LargeStyle)
EssArrBee replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'll second that, I'm doing a new install right now and came across this earlier. It should be the version with no spell. I believe v1.0. -
Realistic Mushrooms has a low res version so it needs a LQ graphic and it also has a Dragonborn version, so a note should be added to download that file too. EDIT: The Dragonborn optional file for WATER needs some clarification on the notes. There are three folders to install the 00 core, 10 water - DB, and 20 water - DB Waves. I go with core and DB Waves.

troubleshooting troubleshooting FPS spikes
EssArrBee replied to exploiteddna's question in General Skyrim LE Support
When this happens are you looking toward the center of the map? Try seeing if you are looking at the center of the map when this happens. If so then it is a bug with the engine that pops up in a few different ways, though never heard of FPS drop. If it happens when looking other directions then I do not know. -
I see it pop up on my tracked mods list pretty often, so I imagine it will have support for any problems. Would be a good candidate for testing IMHO.

Well, then thank the new generations of consoles for saving AMD from disappearing because they weren't doing so well. Anyways, I think this mod will look great with Minty's Lightning. I live in the mountains and it gets crazy when I'm out camping and there is lightning and poring rain, now all we need is realtime flash flooding.

Marked as solved.

SKYRIMLE Ancient Falmer Armor HD Retext & Redone (by Barneq)
EssArrBee replied to DCS78's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
By experienced modder you mean Cabal, so it is just a matter of time until he does this armor. He is almost done with the basic armors only having Daedric left. He should be onto the remaining faction and DLC armor pretty quick. -
Gyro Shares a Bit About His Computer Refresh
EssArrBee replied to Gyro's topic in General Game Discussion
Are you going with an HTPC specific case or are you just using a PC tower and jamming it into an entertainment center? I had windows 7 on it and it's not the best setup, but it did the job fine enough with a wireless keyboard that has a trackpad built in. I should probably upgrade, though I'm quite afraid I'll get right back in to making it an obsession again like I had a while ago. You cannot stuff a gaming rig into a Denon receiver unless you want to try and burn down your house for insurance money. -
Try to upload as a file or use a spoiler tag to keep it smaller, please. Anyways, what I was getting at was the bottom of the log where there is a nice description that will tell you how many bytes + or - that there was after processing.
-
What do your logs say? There is a log for every mod you run through in the output folder or it's parent. EDIT: Also, some of the mods have been optimized by the author's of said mods.

Did you go to the Ignore drop down and UNCHECK Don't process any high dynamic range images & UNCHECK Don't process any of the know file types at all? That is the one thing people new to the program miss the most.

State of Skyrim Revisited Updates
EssArrBee replied to phazer11's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I love Locational Damage, that mod needs much more attention. Why couldn't Skyrim get that, didn't Falout 3 have it? I never used ERSO since it just seemed to big at the time, but now that Erkeil has spun off some of the modules I use those. Enhanced Enemy AI was sorely needed by a game that really lacks any type of dynamic difficulty progression. -
Yeah, you are hitting the limit of the application and this has been well established as the cause of many crashes. Once Skyrim gets to that ~3GB of DRAM then the game starts to become much more unstable. As far as only using one 2k texture pack, SRO is one of the biggest and most comprehensive texture mods for Skyrim. Also, the larger pieces in Book of Silence are 2k. There are a few threads on the 3GB phenomena in the Support & Troubleshooting section.

Well the folder is uncompressed where the bsa is Bethesda's proprietary archive. When you pack something in a .zip it is smaller than when it's just sitting in a folder. You can repackage it in a bsa again, but you will need to use the HRDLC1,2,3 esps. As for ram bursting, I'm quite curious how you would even know that is the cause of a CTD. Are you saying the burst mode of the processors is cause CTDs or that Skyrim is hitting it's limit for the application?

SKYRIMLE Ancient Falmer Armor HD Retext & Redone (by Barneq)
EssArrBee replied to DCS78's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I always thought that it looks more like raw moonstone than that metallic stone mix of the elven armors. I still agree about the white color though, this armor has been isolated down there for hundreds of years, so that dirt is permanent. -
Free Dragon Age and Dragon Age II DLC
EssArrBee replied to phazer11's topic in General Game Discussion
The one thing I wish would absolutely die in the video game industry is preorder bonuses. Just give me what I'm paying for and stop giving me fake rewards because I choose to shop at gamestop or bestbuy or steam. -
Maybe we need to start a little screenshot project to help people SEE what is supposed to be done. This isn't limited to just patching with TES5Edit, there are a few things that might require directions. As any teacher will tell you not everyone can just learn from reading, a few will need to learn visually.

Free Dragon Age and Dragon Age II DLC
EssArrBee replied to phazer11's topic in General Game Discussion
Is the DLC for Dragon Age 2 any good? I never bought it since I didn't like the game that much. And just in case anyone doesn't know or has forgotten, this wonderful thread exists on reddit. I see bloom is free. Never heard of it but free is free. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

I loaded up one of the skeletons that supports the breast plugin, so I can make lopsided boobies. Then I make the arms to big, the head to big and the lips real fat. Put some horrible makeup on and Sh*tlipz is born. -
Right click the game in your Steam library and then click properties. It's under one of the tabs there.
