  1. Choose step core options.
  2. This mod is in testing: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/673-enhanced-skyrim-factions-companions-guild/
  3. I really need to update those pages. Maybe that will be my weekend project.
  4. It probably does. The only mod adding buildings is Cuttting Room Floor and Real Shelter uses a patcher anyways, so it should work with anything.
  5. Actually MO lets the game see the INI loaded BSAs as the archive tab in the order they are listed in the archives tab. It also changes the names of the archives to remove the 256 character limit, so they are aaa, bbb, ccc... It's basically a hack on the game executable if I understand it correctly. You'd have to make it dynamic for everything to see it that way. xEdit is often used without all the plugins loaded at once. I use it with only one or a few plugins loaded more often then I do without. If it loaded unnecessary BSAs then it could break functionality that is extremely important to both patching and LODGen. I'll have to dig up the conversation about it, but it was mostly just being reminded that xEdit loads BSAs by plugin or INI just like the game does. MO doesn't change that either, it just subverts the INI mechanism already in place.
  6. Mator Smash only patches plugins. BSAs are no matter. You are correct that BSAs matter when merging mods which is different from the goal of this application.
  7. Mator Smash won't be able to patch anything in a dummy plugin since there is nothing to patch. It's just the file header AFAIK.
  8. Just use the dummy plugins until after running DynDOLOD. ALso, I'm 99% DDL has the HRDLC LODs already included in the base pack. The different between using optimized textures and the vanilla textures for LODs is basically non-existent. xEdit is going to reduce them down regardless using w/e built program it supports. Yeah they do. I've talked with them about this before. MO only has the BSA feature for game's EXEs and not for utilities. You just have to remember to tick the dummy plugins to load the archives. We went over this when testing DDL.
  9. I usually use textless comic book covers and rig them myself. /u/AngelusCaedo on reddit, in /r/comicbooks, posts a new thread with all the textless covers every week. High res ones are in the thread comments. Current is Silk #1 Hip Hop Variant. Both. Sometimes I just want to sit on my couch and zone out. Prefer TV and play 1080p. Wish I could play at 2160p but I don't know of an HTPC case that would work with that level of hardware. IPS Everything from Old World Blues. That toaster was the best character ever. probably coke or soda. I don't pay attention. I pay for BitDefeder Total Security and have fore about 4 years now. It works great for my laptops or regular desktop.Funny thing about Norton is that their detection engine is good, but they add so much other crap into their suite that it bogs down the whole application to the point of uselessness. My fiance works for the State Department and they have a Symantec (Norton parent company) antivirus that works great because you don't get all the other crap that comes with the Norton suite. Z's right about AVG, it has crossed over to being spyware. I wouldn't trust most free apps though.
  10. Thanks for the update hacker. I'm doing a little maintenance on the guide so I may add those mods. I did add Mono's new pistola to the additional weapons page.
  11. I'm also leaning toward it's inclusion. I've used the stone quarry for a while and is great because it doesn't look like a chunk of plastic attached to a mountain. The clay deposit didn't really win me over though, but I agree it's an improvement.
  12. Do you have a 21:9 monitor or are you playing letterboxed?
  13. Get 32-bit BOSS or switch to LOOT.
  14. Dawnguard Arsenal by MadCat221 Fills in the DG weapon sets. Look really nice.
  15. You can download it on the Skyrim nexus. That is the release version.
  16. YOu have to port them yourself. Basically, you can look at everything the setting does for the Skyrim version of Mator Smash, and then apply that logic to the Fallout 3 version. It should be the same. Also, the Advanced Readme for Wrye Bash is a good reference.
  17. Any opinion on those mods you added? Curious to know about those retextures.
  18. Did someone mess with the Compilation files in the Copy Share? They are not up to date.
  19. Hey Tech, you wanna add a couple (more like 4) new sections to the STEP Patches FOMOD? I updated for the new ICAIO and need to get the fomod updated. There are 4 patches for non-ICAIO users now. I'm setting up the installer files in the copy share right now. This is hopefully the last set of patches I have to create for 2.2.9.2.
  20. We'll need to port the bash tags since Mator Smash uses a separate folder for settings for each game. Also, Mator Smash allows us to make new tags for stuff that Wrye Bash doesn't support. It's pretty versatile. Making a tag only takes a minute though.
  21. Gamwich and SP need to do more stuff for winterhold. The rest of the city doesn't look right anymore.
  22. Should be fine to merge. I don't know exactly how the merging tool merges leveled lists because that utility is clearly black magic, but it should be fine. You could even merge that plugin, then rerun your real Bashed Patch again after you are done to make sure the leveled lists are good to go.
  23. If there are some subrecords that don't show up right now, is it possible to add them? Should I make a request on Github for that type of stuff or do it here?
  24. For merging leveled lists you should use a patcher. Wrye Bash does it better. You can make a Bashed Patch, 0.esp and then make a copy of it. Rename the copy to w/e you want, load it in xEdit and then delete all the records that aren't Level Lists.
