  1. Can we get {{TOC limit|n}} template, which will help shorten my ever growing table of contents? I can't get it to work and I've tried the Wikipedia and wikimedia versions. Also, would it be viable to make a table that is filled with templates like the one we described above for mods? I think could work something out that is a dynamic table but uses the srle model. And where would go to learn how to make a form?
  2. A bugfix for that version was released today for the fomod installers. Did you get that too?
  3. MO just issued an update to the fomod installer for 1.2.10 so see if it is works.
  4. Ignore STEP 2.3.0 we haven't really gotten into making that release ready yet. 2.2.9 hasn't been out to long as is good to go. Yes, merge. You can trust the PMOP suggestions, but for the STEP guide we have tested the order and the error is fine. MO lists the potential for conflict not an actual conflict. LOad order is right pane, plugins. Install order is left pane, mods. LOOT takes care of the right pane, STEP takes care of the left pane. Load order always ends with Bashed Patch, then the SkyProc patches. You recreate those patches every time load order changes. Something like Hialgo boost doesn't count, only mods with ESP/ESM files. Bigger monitor does not mean you need bigger textures. Higher resolution means you need bigger textures. Your ENBoost settings look fine to me. You could even set compression to true and see if you get any stutter. If not, leave it true.
  5. Can hidden data be searched with ctrl-f? I can't seem to get it to work right. Also, If I hide stuff and then it is gone from the ToC, does that mean it still works with linking to that section? Using <url>/<page>#<section>?
  6. If I didn't forget that then I'd forget something else more important.
  7. Missing or bad textures. DId you do any texture optimization?
  8. It detects warnings in groups so it might have circular detection because a group of mods has a certain conflict, so all of them are added to the PMOP. You need to install in the order we listed and you will not have problems.
  9. If you create a section and add a bunch of headers inside such as hishutup did on his page, then it will not work. It only works to use a header on the very first line.
  10. So, I know the link I posted is older, but the same nested collapsible table in regular table concept should apply, right? Also, headings do not work, that is important to point out, especially for the ToC.
  11. God Dammit... I just realized I didn't sort the masters for the update I just did. SHouldn't affect anything though. I really need to go to bed...
  12. Hmm… that is a weird fix. I always have the time set at six hours for surgery so that is why I would have never known. I'll add it to the troubleshooting section the day I finally create one.
  13. Couldn't figure what out? I don't have time to watch 37 minute videos. If I did then the guide would have been done months ago.
  14. If you see that some plugins need a tag, let me know. "If you see something, say something." That was for terrorism, but I feel like patching terrorizes me, so it works. Yeah, it should be DarnUI, PN, other mods with UI, oHUD, FlashlightNVSE, uHUD.
  15. Okay, you aren't looking for conflicts with other mods other than their masters. So, most mods have FalloutNV.esm as their master which means if they change a subrecord it needs the bash tag. It doesn't matter if it conflicts with any other mods, just that it changes a subrecord of it's master. Also, pretty sure that the FCO plugins shouldn't be used with NVR3. It's all over the mod's nexus page that it could mess stuff up, plus I did a bunch of FCO stuff already.
  16. Uhh... so this came out. Version 1.2.10- plugin priority can now be changed directly using F2 - deleting a savegame from MO now also removes the corresponding skse/obse file - deleted savegames now go to the recycle bin - savegame tab now supports multi-select - when changing the mod/download/cache directory, the new directory is created if necessary - MO now keeps the UI locked as long as indirectly started processes are running - bugfix: MO couldn't log in to nexus - bugfix: in rare situations the potential-modorder-suggestion algorithm could crash MO - bugfix: text files weren't discovered in the mod info dialog - bugfix: in rare situations the overwrite dialog could end up displaying the top level path (listing system drives) - bugfix: changes to active ini tweaks wasn't saved - bugfix: list of files to hide from the vfs wasn't removed if the corresponding feature was disabled - bugfix: some strings couldn't be localized
  17. I haven't actually bought hardware through a public business in sometime. I used to buy direct from vendors since I could get their prices, but that isn't really an option now that I'm a civilian again. There are some perks to being a govt employee. I have the micron mx100 right now but 128gb is to small. I'll just stick this in my gf's lappy and get new one. That 500 gb drive is calling out to me though. These last two gens of SSDs are almost to the limit of SATAIII so they really do move some 1s and 0s. I wouldn't mind getting a new laptop either but that can wait a few more months, maybe till haswell drops, but by then we'll have SATA Express and I'll just want new drive. So frustrating…
  18. xEdit Mod Cleaing I'm thinking site wide now that we cover every game, but morrowind covered and we all use that same style which could be made into a nice template for everyone to use. I still like the mod pages for some things though. I imagine if we the ability to add more info to them like FAQs then mod authors could use them for that reason. It would be kinda late now, but someone like kryptopyr could have linked all her info for making mods compatible with CCOR to the mod's page. Just stuff like that which brings in more people to the site sounds good to me. Adding a bunch of install instructions is not good, but a list of packs that a mod exists on is something we should consider.
  19. ENB profiles are the same no matter what version you use. You get the injector or the wrapper from the ENB site then get the profile from the nexus. I can only use the injector since the last major change to ENBoost at .255 or .261, whatever it was. The optimus fix just doesn't work anymore. Maybe you didn't set up the injector correctly last time you tried it.
  20. Use the injector version. The optimus fix stop working around v.26X for ENB. Not sure why, but I can't use the wrapper version any more. Just delete the d3d9.dll and install the enbinjector.exe and the injector.ini if you already have the other ENB files installed. You have to run the enbinjector.exe before starting the game through the SKSE loader.
  21. I think the latest merge plugin script likes the game directory best, from the FAQ on the nexus page:
  22. Amazon is having a sale on Samsung EVO 840 SSDs right now. I'm thinking about an upgrade and those look like a good price for just about the best SSDs out right now, short of the EVO 850. 120GB for $88 250GB for $119 500GB for $200 That 500GB seems like the best deal, but I'm thinking about the 250GB. I have a Micron 120Gb right now about a year old that runs fine and what I really need is a HDD since my laptop's HDD is starting to fail (I think). Luckily I took the DVD drive out and put in the SSD with one of those dvd-to-bay converter things. I wouldn't mind the extra space on the SSD though and just get a HDD when I find one I like. I also saw that newegg has 2x 5TB Seagate external drives for $320. That is $32/GB, or in other words, super f***ing cheap!!! I have so many 3.5 HDDs laying around I don't ever know what I'm going to do with them, but how do you pass up that kind of sale?
  23. There is a few comments about the lore of the item posted in this thread, so you can read those and decide for yourself. I think the handless version is quite lore friendly and if you get a plugin to buff the stats of the white phial then you have something worth using.
  24. Handless is core, handle is extended. But you can just use whatever you want.
  25. Cleaning, tagging, and mod merging can just go under one big installation section. I've used that top down version for a while and find it easy to work with, but it might be best a template. {{Template|Mod Name*field 1*field 2*field 3....closing stuff}}I would then have to switch everything to a template, but it would make less work for others in the future.
