  1. All these years later and were still finding easter eggs in the game...
  2. Technically the files are modded. Some of them aren't any different than what is included in the UPs because DDSopt can correct in a few instances. This is just done on a much larger scale.
  3. Desktop is actually C:Users<username>Desktop... so it should be fine. It's basically a super special folder.
  4. Looks like Emerald Reign is back. Oooooooooooooooooooooo.........
  5. MO released a bugfix for the fomod installer yesterday. It should fix the esp not loading with the installer.
  6. That is sometimes a Nexus issue not an MO one. Try downloading some other files and see if they work. I've have issues myself the last couple days, then try to download with the experimental CDN and it works great.
  7. From the author, so maybe it is okay, even if he told us something different.
  8. Optimized Vanilla Textures by tony971 Well someone finally uploaded the vanilla BSAs after optimization. They even used the STEP batch files for it too. I guess we'll see how long they last, since it was something we could have just released, but it's always better to let someone else test the waters.
  9. If ENBoost was the culprit, then there are so many reasons it wasn't working for that it would take forever to troubleshoot unless you really know a lot about using ENB. My advice is to just play the game and have some fun for while. You can always come back to it at a later date if you want too.
  10. Oh I almost forgot, we recently added C&PD for Fallout 3 and there is an Oblivion guide in the works. It is still quite rough though, but coming together fast.
  11. So all those boxes with directions that are created by indenting a line with one or more space and can be customized. It has to be done with CSS, but the procedure is pretty simple. Make a page with the same name as the guide and add .css ( the end then copy post this into it: <source lang="css" line> body{ color:F77D00; <--Hex color can be changed to whatever you like, but google wiki web colors } pre { margin-left:40px; width:1220px; } </source>Then you only have to use one space and it will indent 40px automatically. To add a CSS page to your guide you have to put {{#css:User:Hishutup/OblivionGuide.css}} somewhere on the page. The bottom is a good place so it's out of the way.
  12. This might be the best news I heard in a while. I pretty much gave up on uploading some images. THis whole time it was case sensitivity...
  13. Okay, try dropping ENBOost and see if you still get the memory crash.
  14. STEP Core is compatible with just about everything.
  15. Need your system specs and did you use 4GB Loader and ENBoost?
  16. Last night s4n implemented a {{TOC limit|n}} template. You can combine it with {{TOC right (or left)}}-> {{TOC right|limit=3}}. That will stop all headings more than two sections deep from being displayed. It shortens it significantly. The problem is again the TOC and that the mod names would end up being the same size as the section names if h1, h2, h3 are used.
  17. If you want to change the size of the table of contents then use {{TOC limit|n}}, limit = n. You can also do {{TOC right (or left)|limit=n}}. It will help the TOC not go on and on, but you loose some navigation ability and you have to manually add #<header name> for links not listed in the TOC. I asked s4n to add it last night since the TOC always bothered the crap out of me.
  18. I've been doing some playing around with colors for headings and can't seem to find the correct set. I have the F&L Criterion Collection and there is a nice purplish color that I want to use, but I can't find something that matches the background and the style for actual text of the headers. Any suggestions? I can come up with the hex code myself, but I just can't figure out what color to use.
  19. I'd use h5 and I'd put the title in a format where it is the link, bigger is not better. [<url> <mod>] Also, align left, it just keeps everything orderly.
  20. You should make a c:games directory. Put steam, origin, Uplay, or any other games In that folder so you have them in one place. Even if turn off UAC, the program files folder is still protected.
  21. Yeah I'm going to do some stuff this weekend in my sandbox and port it over when it looks good.
  22. You can't have skyrim in your program files folder. You need to move it out of there because of windows UAC. Google how to move your steam directory. It doesn't take very long to do at all.
  23. SO are you starting enbinjector from the skyrim directory or whatever shortcut you made, then going into MO and launching SKSE?
  24. I got s4n to implement a TOC template for limiting the header subsections that gets displayed so TOC doesn't have to go on forever. {{TOC limit|n}} where the limit=n. Also, if you have {{TOC right}} or left you can just append it {{TOC right|limit=3}} and it will only show two levels in the TOC, since the title counts as the top level and isn't shown. The drawback is that you can't you loose some of the subsections to click on for copying a direct link. You to manually append the #<header> to the link.
  25. Yeah, I just saw that my ToC in F&L had only a few entries. It works fine now, so there isn't a list that goes half the page. I guess what I mean is a way to implement the style of of SRLE: ===== [<url> <mod name>] ===== * '''Author''': * '''Version''': ... Like how Nearox had listed it above, but we could do it as a template since SRLE, F&L, REGS, C&PD, and the Oblivion guide all use that way of implementing mods. Then if we could somehow make that into a table where you choose the mod then fill in the parameters of the template, then add another mod to the table, fill in the parame.... and so on and so on. That would bridge the gap between the style people are comfortable with and allow for a table to be used. By choosing the mod from a table it could also set a flag on the mod's wiki page for that pack to be listed somewhere. I think that makes sense. It wouldn't really work for F&L, C&PD, and the Oblivion guide unless we really expanded mod pages, but it could work for packs.
