  1. You would subscribe to the mod, download it via the base launcher. Then unsub from the mod on steam. Like this: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Nearox/Steam_Installation_Guide
  2. Just read a bit further into this... facepalmed, and promptly deleted everything I have from Steam, and uninstalled Steam. Belay that. Looks like my modding career/life is done. Screw you, Valve aka EALite. Why do I foresee a rush on the Nexus troubleshooting forums of people trying to get mods to work on pirated copies, etc?
  3. Relax, version 2 of his Holidays Mod is on the Nexus for free now...
  4. Alternatively the way I do it was to grab the base file and the Alternate start compatible one. Unpack them both, delete the fomod folder and combine them into one archive. Then just install that archive. That's if EssArrBee's idea doesn't work, which it wouldn't for me.
  5. You should be able to just click, drag and drop.
  6. Jaw. Floor. Need I say any more?
  7. Maybe try and merge those patches. They merge up easily too. Saves plugin spots and less rules to make.
  8. To be honest, I really don't care what others think. I use MO and it's working fine for me. Have yet to have a single issue, nor has it ever crashed. Until such time as it lets me down, I'll continue to use it. When I was using NMM I had far more issues with crashes and corruption, so I switched. Simple. If and when MO ever causes me an issue we'll have a look at the new NMM maybe. No real issue as far as I'm concerned. People can think what they want. If we always all agreed on things it would be a dull world.
  9. Yeah I have but for the life of me I cant recall what it was and how I sorted it out... First thing I'd do is check DSR.
  10. I actually prefer doing those kinds of things myself, so I know full well what's in them. (And who to blame if there's a SNAFU... :D )
  11. strange. I use 1.2.18 myself and have never had that issue. There was an issue like that with an earlier version, hence my query.
  12. With the Vividian Merge, you can install the Wearable Lanterns mod when needed for the merge and just drag it back into the position it should occupy when you get to it. That's option A. Option B, is just don't do the merge till all components are actually loaded. I typically do option B cause I like to do all the merges at once. But have done it the other way before. With the hook.dll issue that was, I thought, fixed a while ago. What version of MO are you running?
  13. That's happened to me too. I just don't activate Frostfall till I get into the Keep and get some gear and stuff. Was kinda funny when it happened cause when I woke up I was at some camp near Dawnstar, freezing again. :D That's how I learned the hard way...
  14. I know I managed to fix that by changing the value of fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS from 500 to 2000. SO maybe not enough time to render the NPC?
  15. https://issue.tannin.eu/tbg/modorganizer is the MO Bug Tracker.
  16. Bugger, just as I'd finished a new setup too. Ah well :D
  17. MannyGT does good stuff so I agree.
  18. I'll see how this goes. SRLE + REGS (Well most of it. No Steam Mods) + PERMA.
  19. Not sure why you're even using FOMM. You shouldn't need it if you're using UIO. Actually I'm not even sure why FOMM's still suggested in the guide these days. You did do the moving of Darnified UI as suggested in the guide?
  20. Yes I know, you have to make it yourself using TES5Edit. It's not hard to do. EDIT: A small change to step 6. Wintermyst has to be after Master and before Mage.
  21. That's why I call RS Children RSK or RSKids etc.
  22. Having recently copped a pasting of negs from some annoyed joker and a sock account... I'd be happy if it was positives only, stays the same or removed altogether. Whether I have a plus number or not isn't really an issue for me.
  23. You dont have that option turned on where making things takes time?
  24. Do you have LOOT? If not get it. Install it as an executable in MO. https://loot.github.io/ That should help you with ordering your load order. Regards Mod Order, your best bet is to go something like: Bugfixes and general fixes, UI Mods, Larger type overhaul mods, large texture mods, player/creature mods, clothing/armour/weapons, and then something like clutter, animations etc. Keep similar mods in similar areas of the left pane. Also, set up the SKSE.ini file right https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender Finally, consider using ENBoost. Can help with Jitter/stutter.
