I'm fairly sure there will be another shot at it. This time a bit more consultative. And probably with a bit more warning than what was essentially a crowbar across the face sort of deal as this try was. I hope so anyway.
-
Excellent. Will be interesting to see what happens now. Whether some of the people who jumped to Steam Workshop, like the SkyUi crowd most obviously, come back. I suspect the 5.0 SkyUi wont see Nexus...
-
I'll take a peek at the *shudder* workshop over the weekend and pick a few Mods then. Will try and spread them around a few categories etc. Won't use any of the paid ones, though. I know a lot of 13Oranges mods would need cleaning, but I wont even do that. Will use them as is, no BSA extraction, nothing.

Can't start Skyrim via SKSE in MO, but it starts without it
Nozzer66 replied to gustavpezka's question in General Skyrim LE Support
You've installed the SKSE scripts folder as a mod, yes? -
You know, I'd even consider to reinstall $tEAm to have a shot at that. Just for the craic. When you say no tools you mean no SKSE, no Mem Patch, no Patched Patch/Merged Patch etc, yes?
-
Some of the people whining about compatibility patches really need to wake up and smell the coffee some. It's clear most of them probably wouldn't know what things like TES5Edit/Wrye Bash etc really do and how powerful they can be. On top of which once you do get the hang of it, it's not that hard to make patches yourself. Of course the argument about 'I don't have the time to do all that, I just want to play' gets tossed around. My counter to that is, 'And the Mod Maker doesn't need time to test and work on the substantive mod?' Sure if a mod maker does provide patches, good on them and more power.

In the order that the mods are presented on the STEP guide.

Not the right one to ask. Never played Assassin's Creed at all... And of course the base game does have to be worth modding, I understand that. I can just see something like that happening is all.
-
I'm just waiting for the time when Bethesda (most likely), but out some kick arse trailer of a new game. And advertises it for say 25 bucks on Steam. Of course the small print states: to get the game to look as the trailer you need Mods X, Y, Z, J, W, P and F at 10 bucks each on top of the 25 bucks. Call me cynical...

Cant use that racing chair mod. They don't come in red. Everyone knows red ones go faster.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Nozzer66 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I gotta admit Vividian 7 is seriously making me think about reinstalling everything... But I can't. Not yet. -
Have heard that one too. However the story I hear is that the 4chan people have fixed that, too.
-
To say nothing of opening the whole post up to issues cause it can then be argued that the pirated mod versions are not the ones that are on SW. (Probably a stretch, TBQH, but the argument could be made.)
-
Bombards the tinfoil lined bunker with a high powered electron beam. Out of there you. No hiding now. And if I could one up SRB's comment above I would. While I'm virulently anti paid mods, I'm probably even more virulently anti piracy in any form.

Fonts do not display in main menu
Nozzer66 replied to Ventessel's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Go to your MO profile and check that the inis in there are not read only. Have had this problem in the past and fallout.ini was often read only. Removing that fixed the issue for me. -
Why am I not surprised? Still, to be a tad fair, there's been unpaid/free mods with issues like that, too.
-
Well there you go. Still glad I deleted $tEAm.
-
Given he gets paid in Steam Wallet funds, I'd debate he's made anything, but fair enough. I'm not going to look at $tEAm to find out. I'd sooner smack myself in the face with a brick.

You are aware that Isoku only gets 25% of his earnings, yes? Just curious.
-
A little bird tells me there was a leaked copy getting passed around that bastion of good taste and nicety, 4chan.

Bwahahaha: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65071/?

Already been some genius banned at Nexus for posting the 5.0 version of SkyUI... I really don't think that was ever going to work.
-
No. Deactivate Perkus Maximus temporarily first. Mod Organizer will show anything that depends on Perkus Maximus as having the ! in a triangle around it. Deactivate any such mod temporarily. That's all you need to do. It's hard to give a full list of them all as what will need to be done will depend on what you have installed.
-
Maybe people who were using RWT and have deserted Isoku's mods looking for a replacement in WATER? Cause that's what I'd have done.

'I think back to a couple months ago when there was the memorial for that poor kid who died, Taylor. I felt like we all came together as a community to grieve. But now we've been torn apart.' Had forgotten about that, They refer to this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63583/? And now look what's going on. It's very sad, really.
