  1. Menus would be an issue with resolution that you're running. There is a mod out there that assists with correcting menu placements on larger resolutions, but I can't remember the name of it.
  2. Moved topic to general support because there are several non-STEP mods present.
  3. Thanks! Needless to say, I was tired...still am Haha! I've made the correct topic, moved the posts here, and corrected the wiki mod page to all point the right spots.
  4. Moved post to correct topic. I removed the, now, unnecessary edit from the mod page. Thanks for the report.
  5. Hmmm... Yeah, you can just right-click and delete it, but did you see my additional replies? Add both flags. I just tested it and it works fine.
  6. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Third_Party_Programs Now that I think about it, the "-IKnowWhatImDoing" argument is required for the "-AllowMasterFilesEdit" argument to work.
  7. Add this flag to your launch arguments: -AllowMasterFilesEdit
  8. In xEdit, expand the tree for the mod you need to change (left pane). Click on the File Header, which should be the first thing listed under the expanded tree. In the right pane, you'll find the list of Masters for that plugin towards the bottom. Find "Blues Skyrim.esp" and double-click on the name. On the window that opens, you'll be able to change the name. Edit it and click Save. When finished, close xEdit and you'll be prompted with a list of plugins you want to save. Ensure the desired plugins and only those plugins are checked. Click OK to save those checked plugins.
  9. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/14385-gemling-queen-jewelry-se-by-saerilethlordjoseph7 https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:STEP_Community_Citizenship#New_Posts Please search before posting. Several search terms could be used to easily find the linked discussion above...as I did.
  10. I believe I used to have something on the Guide saying that you can ignore this stuff because the STEP Patches will cover it....either in the LOOT section, the STEP Patches section (this section seems shorter than I remember and at least one sentence doesn't make sense so I know it was edited), or within the notice at the top of the mod list. It must have been deleted during an edit a while back, either on purpose or accident. I certainly don't remember removing it. I'm not going to fix any edits that weren't discussed as other members may have had their reasons. My reason for it being there was for users like yourself and to cut down on these support questions. Suffice to say, you should ignore stuff like that from LOOT...when only using the STEP Guide. For any mods outside the Guide, you should at least look into the report. But take LOOT's suggestions with a grain of salt because they are notorious at leaving in outdated information about mod compatibility and don't take into account a user's own CR Patches.
  11. Doesn't work due to highslide, I think...Z mentioned something about this.... I know he updated highslide on the dev wiki, but I'm not sure he got this working or not.
  12. I may or may not have included the 2D LODs for the SFO option. It's been too long. I was only recommending 3D Trees for the SFO Snowy Pines because they will not match the 2D LODs due to Vurt making bends and whatnot in the main trunk. One of them has a very large bend towards the top and the fad-in from 2D LOD is simply aweful.
  13. Kesta lives!!! Nice to see you around! Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah, all Guide stuff has stopped pending site updates and platform upgrade.
  14. I fixed the typo. The forum links are broken, atm. Z has been doing some stuff and changed the link for some reason. I'll wait until I hear from him before I reverse it.
  15. If you restore any of them, please ensure you correct the places they're referenced to use the "File:" call so they're logged as being used. Thanks!
  16. You've gotta have those passthru files for 3D Trees. They're actually not hard to make. Everything is documented within "..\DynDOLOD SE\Docs\trees.ultra" folder.
  17. Yeah, I don't see anything obvious either. Where is your game installed to?
  18. Just a quick notice: We are aware of some images missing on the wiki. How widespread this is, is unknown. Many are the result of old links to Nexus that are broken. We'll either try to fix these, or remove them. However, the cause of missing images that were stored on the wiki is because they were deleted. These files didn't show any usage. This was tracked down to the usage of "direct links", mostly within templates. Direct links to files uploaded and stored on the wiki are not logged within the wiki data structure; therefore, there was no simple way of knowing that they were actually in use. For the wiki to log the usage of files, one of the two internal mechanisms for including files on pages must be used (File:FileName.Ext or Image:FileName.Ext). Not to worry! "Deleted" isn't really deleted on a wiki until you purge the archives so they can and will be restored. However, the two gallery templates available are planned to be replaced by a new, single template. We'll restore the files as we replace the galleries. After that, we can track down any remaining stranglers.
  19. We'll address it again with the forum update, as it will have to be redone anyway because the new version of the forums use HTML rather than BBCode.
  20. I just updated it. All that information is already included on out Citizenship Guidelines so I've simply linked to if for a more thorough review before posting.
  21. It just elimites one step for us, if the mod is accepted into a Guide. It's not necessary, but having the community do this also helps to build our "mod database". We're hopeful that users will be able to use the same framework we use for our Guides to put together their own user-built guides and will be used for the planned "STEP Builds". This plays off the old "Packs" idea, however, it won't be a separate framework like that one was. Honestly, it's still too early to say how this plan will play out, but it's one thing we're looking into. Thus, the more mod pages we have on the wiki, the faster it will be for users to slap together their mod lists using our framework.

  23. This guide has received a general update to bring it up-to-date.

  25. It should be noted that several authors/users seem to have changed views from the "norm" of cleaning the master, under the scrutiny of the xEdit cleaning process and issues cropping up with it (I can not cite but have talked to a few privately.) Though, this does seem to be a more recent development with xEdit; cropping up every couple of months this year. I think in summary from the AFK Mods discussion... Trying to look at this unbiasedly, it seems it's really not going to matter in regards to cleaning the master files, but mods should always be cleaned unless otherwise noted by their authors. That's what I got from boiling out the passionately overstated views from the heat-of-the-moment discussion. Oh...and more confirmation that UPs should always be used because they fix things people!
