  1. I understand what you're saying; however, I never notice this while actually gaming because I rarely stop to stare at the rocks. lol. The benefit of the extra detail in Alt Mountains is well worth it; however, for Core/STEP I can settle with Vanilla HD. I'll be using Alt Mountains in my personal setup.
  2. For some odd reason I too was thinking this might be an ENB issue as I'm not using ENB and it seems like many of the peeps with this issue are using ENB. @GrandBulwark, Did you uninstall (remove) the ENB files from your game directory or just disable ENB? This might make a difference. Just something to consider. I'm using MO so my Skyrim directory is as clean as a whistle...completely stock...totally vanilla...okay, I'm out of puns.
  3. Yep, just point the launcher to ModOrganizer.exe
  4. Did we ever have a consensus on the rocks and mountain textures? Personally, I've been playing with Alternative Mountains for a good while and prefer it over all the others that have been in testing. It's vanilla friendly without being exactly vanilla.
  5. I never thought this would make it into Core. As for Extended. It can wait until later. I personally think this mod is a stylistic choice and probably won't be in STEP.
  6. Agree. Marked as accepted.
  7. Agree. Marked a accepted. Z, could you post the load order for this (EDT, EDT2, SFO and whatever else is involved) to the changelog? I'll get them added and the mod list updated for 2.2.7 if you do.
  8. This is obviously mod list specific as it will be for any scripted mod related issues. I have all of STEP plus some on my personal profile (267 mods) and have no issues whatsoever. I can play for hours and hours without a single CTD, freeze or ILS. Completely stable with all of STEP including Wet & Cold and the only TES5Edit stuff I've done is to clean the mods of UDRs and ITMs. I use 1K textures for exteriors (with a few 2K mixed in where the 1K is obviously bad) and 2K for interiors (1K for the small clutter stuff though). All vanilla and DLC textures have been optimized using DDSopt. Mod textures have been left untouched.
  9. Hmm... I wonder if this release is in part preparing for SteamOS.
  10. How new are these drivers?
  11. No need to create another page, you can change the Pack's name by going to the Pack's page and using 'Page Tools' -> 'Move'. It's pretty self-explanatory, just enter a new name (Make sure you keep the "Pack" prefix!) and optional reason, un-check "Leave a redirect behind" and hit 'Move'. The Pack prefix is what makes the title start with "Pack:", so don't include that in the new name. I just moved your Pack into the Pack namespace, it can now be found at Pack:STEP Weather Pack (WIP). Side notes: perhaps we should make it a guideline that packs can't start with STEP unless they're "officially STEP related". snip....+1 agree.
  12. Attention BCF creators/maintainers, BCFs need to be created/updated for the texture removals included in the "Mod Notes & BCFs" section of the changelog: https://wiki.step-project.com/Changelog/2.2.7
  13. 1) Page title is directly related to the page link. At this point, I don't think it's possible to change it without creating a new pack. I will refer this to the developers for comment though. 2) This is an error. Looks like the dimensions of the pop-up are messed up again.
  14. ...that's not something you hear everyday.
  15. We will need to at least look at the creatures to compare against Bellyache's. The armors and weapons, I'm not concerned about because CaBal always does vanilla replacements and rarely deviates.
  16. Approving this mod until new vanilla hair meshes are released (if ever) and a reevaluation will be done with new meshes. Core will remain the same. Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - Rough Version will overwrite Core for Extended.
  17. Removing this from testing. Core and Extended will remain as is.
  18. Check out the BVH thread. Those meshes cause clipping on helmets that are close to the face. The BVH meshes are a great starting point and a continuation of that work would be awesome; however, the clipping is an issue that would cause it to not be in STEP. If that can be fixed, then it would be a go.
  19. Has some minor issues from what I've seen. I've been using it and you'll get a rarely bird flying without flapping or a bird flying through a vanilla build (nothing added by another mod). Those aren't common as the mod usually works good. Other than that, I've have no issues running it.
  20. If you're running ENB or lighting mods or any mods that affect the shaders turn them off and see if the issue persists. This includes any injectors you might have (SweetFX, SMAA, FXAA, etc). If the issue is still there please post your video card settings. Certain card setting can cause these types of issues in Skryim. For example, I have black lines around my charged fire spells: https://i.imgur.com/ZY6NTVL.jpg Point is, I know they're there. I know it's caused by my system settings due to Skyrim being "blah" with certain settings, but it's a minor issue that I'm willing to deal with (i only notice it again light backgrounds anyway) to keep the settings I like.
  21. Should be fixed. Vanaran, PM Z92 on Nexus to get your Mod Author name badge.
